Depending on the location of where your apartment is located determines what is being charged per unit to the owners. Like every owner they tack on their charges to you. Out where I am D. S. Local area I pay 5 baht a unit then I charge the tenant 10 baht. Like you I'm Mr. Clean but not clean enough to get upset over a girl putting her dirty feet on my satin sheets LOL, but if you look around you furniture there is always dust on table top etc. Even when you just clean a few days ago. I too noticed dust in my A / C although I seldom use it and when I do it is set at 27 and that is cold to me. My fan I cleaned once every 2 weeks and you should see have dirty that is?

Hahaha just along that beach Road, usually any groups of natives will help you out, be prepared to pay farng prices though, I'm a slick talker so could get them down to about 200baht, but I've seen other guys pay 1000+. Plus the weed is pretty crappy, and the girls around soi 6 can get you a gram of ice for 2000

Seems you got a nice result there. A good lady at a very good price. Incidentally the last time I was in Pattaya was mid December and I saw a very slim girl dancing in the same bar (frog) did you notice if she is still there. Never did get round to asking about BF'ing her but may do the next time I am down there.

For those renting long term most and pay for water and electrical these units aren't cleaned often since when they are full of dust causes the units to labor and people have a habit of turning down the temp to get the room cooler this drives up your cost unit. I had a friend stay a place and he had the unit at 18 C, and the room wasn't that cool. His monthly bill was over a 1, 000 baht, I climbed up remove the screen washed them off put them back in and his bill went down by a bunch.

Same thing happened to me when I got back last month. When I do Spring cleaning I take the things out and rinse them off. But I had not even been here in a couple of months so I thought they should have been fine. Chicks were coming in saying how hot it was. I thought it was me making them that way since I am such a stud. Finally I noticed that I would turn mine down to 18, but the thermostat would never go under 24. So I told the guy who manages the building. He came in while I was gone. Later he told me that he cleaned the filters and that should do it. It worked like a charm. I think my bill last month was about 1700 and I didn't even get the benefit of the air being cool until half way through the month.

Split type A / C filter never need replacement, are made of plastic that you can just wash under the shower. I do that everytime I can remember about. For an extra effect put some drops of aroma oil on it.

Unless your'e staying in a hotel with central aircon system usually in the high end a room for 700 baht most likely have the ones mounted on the wall near the ceiling with a remote control. These system as noted have the black plastic ones that can be removed and cleaned yourself very easy.

Take a end table or chair when the unit is off and flip open the cover and you will usually see a set of plaster filters on each side. Look at the way it is slided in before removing. Just ply it loose and slip it out and rinse them off and pad them dry. Look at the grill above the unit and if it is full of dust use a wet cloth or damp paper towel and gently wipe across the top of the unit. Do not tap or blow into the unit this might cause dust to fall into the unit drain tube when this happens once the unit is turn on the dust lodged in the tube will cause the unit to freeze up and once that happens it will start to drip water.

If you are getting sick or waking up with a sore throat. This is usually due to the location of the unit being directly blowing over the bed or right at your face. If this is the case just take you hand if you are tall or a stick and push the flap up slightly so it blows higher this usually take care of the problem.

Filters here are very expensive. Like 500 baht versus $2 in the USA. I bought an air cleaner / ionizer for 4500 baht the other day. Works wonders.

Just a quick thank you to Amex spg. He was kind enough to take a novice to the Pattaya scene on a tour last night and it was very enjoyable have to say. The same thing happened back the States, and the hotel pretty much laughed at me, at that was over $60 / night. My hotel at 700 baht said no problem and they paid for it themselves. Suspect it not been changed in ten years. Fixed my problem.

On the whole Vit V / Vit C controversy, personally at times use Vit C. Used Vit V, and IMO it sucks. Lasts like an hour, and after done, nothing. Get a weekend out of Vit C tablet. Just take half now and half later. Picked up my Vit C generics back in AC, Phil and for CHEAP. And I mean CHEAAAPPPPP. Suspect I paid a fourth of what it goes for here in Pattaya.

Here in Pattaya friend of mine recommended Storect. It's this natural herbal product. Am pretty skeptical of these things, but I believe it worked and pretty well. Paid 600 for four tablets. Will try it again soon. Except for about a ten day break, have had a gal or two every day now for like two months. Getting bit worn.
