This is always the risk of using the net, you just can't be sure that the girl you see in the glossy photos is the girl who will turn up to your hotel, or indeed what entourage she might turn up with. I find that in Dubai it is usually best to go to the various hotel clubs / bars because at least "what you see is what you get" and you have a chance to chat with the girls over a drink to see what they are like before you venture to your hotel room. I'll be honest, I do find the large clubs / bars intimidating in Dubai. Until Rumours closed it was relatively easy if staying at the Ramada, once you had met a girl simply walk around the corner to the hotel and start the fun. Once Rumours closed I decided to try the York, absolutely terrifying at first, was ambushed by so many girls as soon as I walked in (and I am definitely no Brad Pitt) , could not see the wood from the trees.
