Yes, I know that, but I've worked around that for several countries. I've never yet paid a chica fee in the last 4 years for 6 diverse countries. Colombia not included. I set it all up in advance. My usual is Marriott. Com on Visa Signature Card from Chase. Corporate sends the message to the local hotel in advance of my arrival that there are to be no restrictions. For confirmation at check-in I reiterate and confirm.

Marriott BKK on Sukh Soi 57 nver ever a problem and the chicas just love the place. The buffet breakfast is so stunning the chicies never want to leave, hahahahaha. And dig this, since I get the room signed in for 2, there is no additional charge for brekky, otherwise its 500 Baht per person.

Furthermore how many chicas are they going to see per 1-week stay? Most likely just one, but sometimes 2. Why so? If the girl (all non-pros only) I pick up is hot hot hot and we have good chemistry, she's mine for the whole week. I've never had to go more than 2 chicks per trip to find a winning-chemistry-date.

Never had a problem with this.

I cannot imagine Colombia will stump me on this one. Since Marriott is not available I don't mind paying a higher hotel rate elsewhere but will get the chica factor cleared before arrival and then again before check-in.

I've stayed at the JW Marriot on Sukhumvit Soi 2 many times, and loved it, but Colombia is vastly different. (yes, it's quite an accomplishment to impress a farm girl from Issan who has grown up eating grasshoppers with the breakfast buffet at the Marriot lol) I would never stay at a hotel here in Medellin. Even disregarding the way hotels here in Medellin look at foreign guests compared to LOS, an apartment is so much nicer, cheaper, and private. But hey, it's your trip, do it your way.

Newbie mongerer reading this excellent board to prepare for Medellin. So many knowledgeable people here, I know I've come to the right place. Just came across this article to get me started. Can the pros here let me know if the Hotel and\or areas suggested are good? Not much is mentioned about mongering unless of course the bars the author talks about are the hot places.

I actually felt sorry for the bobo in this video clip.

This was so damn funny on so many levels. This guy is meeting a woman to make his bribe using a translator. If you can't communicate then how the hell are you going to live with her and have a real relationship. He falls in love with 1 visit and knows she is the one. If you mean hooker, that was no hooker. Go to the govt. Fin. Office 4 blocks in, and ask for the manager. 2nd floor. That's her. Not the usual massive ass women one sees in DR either. This is a nice slender, sophisticated looking woman. Shocker the way it turned out though. No money involved even though I suggested a gift, her answer was,"do you really see me as needing money?" I left it at that.

We were supposed to follow up with lunch the next day. The rest is history.

I was in the DR last week and I let a very run of the mill puta use my IPad to go on Facebook and I could not believe the traffic she had blowing through her account, she had over 50 messages waiting for her and over a hundred friend requests when she logged on. Hotel Intercontinental $132. Holiday Inn $135. Sheraton $147. Hotel Ibis $56. Hotel Estelar Blue $130. Marriott (none)

Bummer, no Marriott in Medellin, would be my 1st choice and rack up some nice points on my Chase Marriott Card.

Ibis? Avoid, same option in BKK but young antelope want to see higher.

Estelar Blue is a could be but most likely will go to the antelope-soother, Sheraton.

Rooms always booked for 2 adults, works in Thigh-land, oughtta work in Medellin.

No apartments, no houses for the hunt...

Colombia is not SEA. The high end hotels will charge you a chica fee even if you reserve for 2. They want the girl to check in with you and stay the whole trip and not a different girl every night. The rules are always changing with these hotels. I would avoid the headache altogether and go for apartments.

I'm from US and I paid upfront for 2 days in La Mansion which is their requirement for resservations, by credit card and was charged on my card around $200, would have been $85 if by Paypal so maybe that's where you got $85-90 from. But from their website the room I wanted went for 158,000 pesos which equals around 85 with 25% added fort credit card comes out to $100.

You get nailed paying with a credit card at the Mansion.

Used a credit card to make my first reservation at the Mansion as there was no way around it.

After my first trip I just leave a deposit for my next trip in cash. And when I know when I'm coming down next I just call them up and have the full amount applied to my reservation.
