I spend a considerable amount of time gathering menus and leaving them at the apartment for the next guy once I leave. And what do I get when I return? Nothing. Not even a fucking phone book, LOL. But here are some menus for you ungrateful bastards to help you get started. Thanks me!

If you're risk averse, and with no Spanish, then why not stay there? It's custom made for someone like you. They do your laundry, cook breakfast, and translate when you order delivery for just about anything you want. On uatop of that, there are always girls hanging around. If you ever get bored, you can go to Liquid, the best gringo / strip club in Medellin. Ok, the only one.

We went to Fase Dos last night and it was pretty meh but not horrible. Don't know if we got the gringo overcharge. 20k a beer + a bunch of taxes and tip added. Also while there were a bunch of hotties, nobody seemed to be trying to take them upstairs.

I know people will bash me but I had three regular girls stay with me. One at a time of course. They stayed as long as I wanted basically until I kicked them out. All very GFE and even PSE. They stayed days at a time each. Willing to do anything I wanted anytime any place any hole. I do have an advantage I am young and speak native spanish. We went out on dates like novios everytime. Showed me the city and would try to save me money everywhere. Here is where I will be bashed. They didn't want any money whatsoever. Just payed for food, drinks and taxis / buses. Loved it. They each wanted to take me to airport and come to meet their family. Aint nobody got time for that. Had such a great time with them I couldn't hook up with the prepagos or go to the strip clubs. I couldn't see myself paying for it when I was getting all I wanted genuinely from barely legal hotties. Can't wait to go back. Maybe next time ill have more time to see the prepagos and clubs.

Most guys that spend an appreciable amount of time in Colombia can find themselves with a fairly hot woman as least compared to what they are used to getting in the states.

I have had my fair share of live in girlfriends myself but for the guys that are just visiting what is the point of getting involved with a young hottie and making her feel like she is the ONE just to ultimately dump her and leave her feeling jilted.

At any rate congrats for stepping up and pointing out that if you actually get off your ass and make an effort that you can get laid anywhere in Colombia without paying for it up front. But talking the pants off of 8's and 9's takes more time and effort than most gringos here are willing to put in mostly because they are just looking for sex and not some sort of long term relationship. I don't regret spending my first few days there and if (when) I go to Columbia, I think the Medellin Plaza would be an ideal first place for me too.

Now on the subject of Liquid, what makes that place worth going to?

For most guys staying at the Mansion, you want to venture out. Why spend a week totally isolated in your hotel? I believe Liquids is in a pretty good location with a bunch of other venues near by like F2. You can stop by to check out the talent, have a few drinks, etc. You could also bring your girls there to hang out. They usually play pretty good music, the dance floors aren't crowded and there's a strippers pole that the girls love to monkey around with!

When they decide to throw parties, it actually gets really fun as well with tons of girls!

BTW, if you are not interested in hooking up with your translator / photo shoot producer, you probably will get better results hiring a flaming gay.

Thanks for the advice Almotu. I'll check into those clasiffieds. You may well be right about using a gay. In Thailand, the makeup artists are usually Katoey and have lots of good contacts.

I've spent plenty of time in Latin America (only have very modest Spanish skills) however this will be my first trip to Medellin.

I'm not going there as a monger (had to scale that down recently) but as a pro photographer (not porn). I have access to solid models via a couple of agencies but will need assistance in posing them and negotiating rates and such. Also the agents don't seem to have English skills.

Bottom line is that, I need to find a female that has had some experience modeling who can function as an English / Spanish translator and assist in making arrangements. I'm thinking about using a dating site as I did this years ago in the Phils and it paid off.

Any other thoughts or contacts here?
