Well I had a chance to go a couple of times to Belgium in the last couple of months and can report mixed but mostly positive reports on the area. I've made the trip by rental car to Dolce Vita Raubach a half dozen times or so. The drive isn't too bad once you get out of the Frankfurt metropolitan area.
