I was responding more to your question about brothels. Next to the Vigszinhaz, there is a Vigszinhaz Café and I've had offers there late at night, inside and outside of the club. Since I was coming already from session with a local freebie, I wasn't interested. Also, on some of the side streets, you'll sometimes see an available girl. It's not a sure thing.

In other words, not a lineup where you see all of the girls as in Brazil or some places in the past in Israel.

Usually a higher charge to come to you. Many massage girls will do more for extra money. Full service could run from 10,000 to 20,000 forint for an hour. Difference mostly depended on the girl and her age. Sometimes kissing needed to be negotiated as an extra, sometimes included. Many of the sites tell you. Some girls will claim English, but will not speak so well. Others will have someone answering for them who speaks English, but the actual girl doesn't. Had that happen to me once in a far corner of the 13th district when I couldn't find the right doorway to a building. When I made it to the apartment, it was very clear that there was no way that the woman talking to me on the phone was the one in front of me. Both of the above sites will allow you to see if the girl is online, meaning available that moment.

Ideally, if you can get a sim card with a Hungarian number, that would be ideal. You usually have to make 2 calls in order to get to the apartment. The driver may not, but if you write the address, that will get you there. If not nothing else (did this one time.) give them the number of the place you are going and ask them to call and get the address. This actually got me not only the right directions, but she gave the driver the door code and the right floor. I had a lot of grins from that driver. Avoid flagging down a taxi if you can. Risk is that the rate is higher, particularly the taxis that sit outside of the main train stations without clear rates written on the windows. Difference between a trip that might cost you 2000-3000 forint and 6000 forint.

For all the guys trying just the massage houses. Try to do some research beforehand with some girls you can reach on phone and communicate with because some of the FS providers.
