I owned a biz in Cebu from '05 to '07 and the main reasons the bars went downhill is the influx of Koreans paying too much. Also, I think some of the Koreans make more likely boyfriends / husbands than us guys from the West. I had 2 or 3 girlfriends that were bargirls who wanted more and were the greatest short-term GFs in my life (1-4 months). Some of the girls get into bars because they love sex (in addition to $$$ or Green Cards) but they are a minority...

I actually had my best experience with a girl from one of them bikini bars and no, I didn't donate 4000 pesos LOL. On my short Vaca, I mostly spent it picking up girls from J's Ave. I don't think I donated more than 2000P ever? Most of them also slept over and 2 of them wanted to fuck all night! I remember telling one of the girls after my 2nd pop "The only way I'm going to be able to go a 3rd round was to stick into the forbidden hole" and that quickly ended the night with us going to sleep LOL.

I didn't really mess around with DIA and I don't think I ever will. I just can't get the hang of it, nor do I have the time to build relationships like most of you guys. Maybe if I ever decide to live in the Philippines then I'll give DIA a shot.

At times a few vest (singlet) wearing (mainly American or British) expats turn up with their tattoos and drink one bottle of beer all night but it is still IMHO an interesting place to visit.

I was back in 2012 for 4 months and it just wasn't as bad as most of these reports. BUT you have to realize that the influx of Japanese and Koreans have made Western guys lower on the totem pole. Just do a lot of bar hopping on Mango and as of 2 years ago there's plenty of great looking girls. Have some fun talking to the GROs if you have good game and are friendly to the girls. Good game and being 1/2 decent looking is what will get you what you want. If you don't have it, Cebu is not the best place. Are you funny, a gentleman (treat bar girls with some respect) , and look 1/2 decent? Bar girls will talk to you and you can figure out what's what.

As for internet dating and Ayala pick-ups, I would warn more strongly than others that this takes a LOT of time. Sure the pay-off is worth it. But be ready for a lot of let-down. I was basically looking for a short-term. 1-2 month GF when I did this. I had some amazing experiences but a lot of duds. Do all your "messaging" for this BEFORE you go. Schedule many, many 1st dates a day. On the second date, the right ones you like may be good to go if you meet near your hotel, but it's only 1 in 5 are right, so do a LOT of first dates and be thick skinned but a gentleman.

Many, many of these girls deal with sh! T you can't imagine (date them and you'd see). It's a 3rd world country. Be respectful and think about how twisted it is to inflict sorrow on someone that already MIGHT have a shit life.

There is great hobby in the Cebu, but takes more time to figure out than for example Angeles.

While in Cebu, Pip Jaeger mentioned to me a bar full of free lancers near all the bikini bars and it just so happens, I found it randomly while in my taxi. I basically jumped into a taxi with my girl outside of Planet X and asked him to take me to J's Ave. He needed to do a U turn, so he pulled in the gas station that's like 15 yards away and did it the legal way. While waiting at the light, I just so happened to notice a bar packed with girls and maybe 2 expats in there hanging out. I didn't get a chance to visit this establishment but perhaps on my next trip.

This is not my experience in Cebu. The bf in Lone Star, for example, is 2700 php with 700 to the bar and 2000 to the girl (and she picks up the 2000 from the cashier before you leave the bar).

However, if you are known to the mamasan and have a good track record they just charge 700 to you and expect you to give the girl at least 2000 when she leaves you either next morning or later if only S / T.

I have never been hit with anything near a 4000 bf. I would steer clear of places like that.

I have always heard The Lone Star is a great bar but has average talent and that's why I have never walked over there. The price and attitude there is probably much better I take it. Next time I will make sure to hit it and see for myself. From my meager Cebu experience some of the ladies at Red Lips, Vikings, Infinity, etc. Are way better looking than what I've seen in AC.

Guys that are living / working in the PI have the luxury of waiting the hot ones out. Guys on a 2 week vacation either pay the asking price (or close to it) or do w / out and compromise w / lesser talent.

I have a 10 day trip coming up (a short one) and will not stop by Cebu this time. I am hoping Manila will be a little more user friendly than Cebu. I will scour the Manila forum for a good game plan.

Arena that caters for the Japanese and Korean market has high bar fines but you can find some of the girls (well used to) after hours around Mango in the clubs there for a much more reasonable contribution to their school fund.

So I believe the KTV you're talking about is called Infiniti. I was going to stop by but I decided to skip it and just head on over to the bikini bars. My favorite was Red Lips. After talking to a couple of girls, they wanted 4000P up front. I also believe it's 65P for a beer like SMP or SML and 150P for a lady drink (shot of tequila). After reading so many awful reports of girls quitting after being BFed from the bars, I thought it was too much of an risk to pull the trigger and so I left for the Disco. Managed to pull a girl, get drunk and do the deed back at my room. She didn't want money me but she wasn't going to turn down free money if it was handed to her and so she left with 2000P because I enjoyed her company, I wanted her to do something nice for herself and I totally thought that was still an bargain. The one regret of the night was not having any photos of her.

I also liked Red Lips for eye candy but the hot ones discriminate so it is a disappointment there. Man those fucking women are so sexy, but the whitey can't have them, it kills me.

Infinity is the name of that club and it does cater to asians but I felt I could compete in there. You walk in and turn a corner and it's a large room w / a stage and 20 ladies dancing. They rotate dancers as the "featured dancer" on the center stage. The stage is close and you can relax and watch these incredible creatures slowly twist and turn their bodies. The venue is great for this type of entertainment alone, never mind the bfing, the venue has great lighting and the women are very sexy. If anything it's a great place to have a few drinks and see some eye candy. This is the only KTV bar I've ever been in and it was fine when I went.

The other thing I like about Cebu is it is w / in a few hours of beautiful beaches and islands, Bantayan (4 hrs) , Bohol (2 hrs) , etc.

I was there a year ago February and stayed at the Quest and enjoyed the hotel. I met a couple of guys at the pool and they showed me around to places I hadn't found on my prior 2 Cebu visits.

Besides the Mango Bars (full of drink sluts, watch out) there was a KTV / bar a couple of blocks from the Quest. This place had everything w / rooms in the back for Karaoke it catered to Asian (I think) but I felt like I had a chance to pull any girl. There were probably 50 + women w / many lookers. The takeout fee was 3, 500 if I remember right. The LDs are expensive but the girl stays w / you for an hour or so. How to get there?

When you leave the Quest like your going towards Ayala Mall just stay on the Quest side of the street and (to the right) walk down 2 blocks, it is definitely worth a visit, many ladies there. I got the number of a beauty but did not pursue because my new buds wanted to hang at Mango Sq (adjacent to Juliana's)...

So ya'll convinced me and I booked my ticket yesterday! I'll be flying in tomorrow and I'm as excited as heck to be going to Paradise! LOL. I'll be staying at the Quest Hotel. I think I got a pretty good deal from the Quest Website and from all the research I did on here as well as Agoda.

If anyone wants to get a drink or hang out and teach me the ropes, I'll be in Cebu tomorrow!

This was my first time sitting outdoors drinking brews and watching the FLs working the tables. It was fun and I ended up w / 2 MILFs for 1000p each but I got smashed on SML. The MILFs did a good job.

Ayala Mall is a good hunting ground and if you have a little game you can attract better talent. If not there are some obvious (a bit worn) FLs that will hunt you down. The trick is (I have learned) in the malls or probably anywhere involving semi pros is that you have to act fast. If they smile at you pounce on them fast, w / any conversation starter. You're walking by a little babe smiling at you, make a U-turn and set the hook.

Mango Bars I / e Vikings, Eric The Red, Red Lips, etc. Have some very nice talent but I have found that they are either Korean Only and / or drink sluts w / no intention of bfing w / you. I have been burned many times in these bars. I have barfined real hot ones only to have them quit on me at the hotel after 10 minutes in the room. I bring them back to the club for a refund and there is no manager. So I have been fucked (figuratively) more then a few times in these bars, watch yourself. There are some good women in these bars but they're not the drop dead lookers, they were my plan B.

I love Cebu for many reasons but next time it's on in Manila. I will be there in May and will work the babes in Manila for the first time. I am reading the forum now to get a feel for Manila action. It all sounds very good for hunting the lookers.

Oh....and for me AC is void of lookers, a lot of cute 6's but very few stunners are to be found in AC. mo

Apples and Oranges Bro, you can't really compare the two. Cebu is nowhere near "in your face" as AC, but there's plenty of action here; you just have to work at it a little more and be a little better prepared.

Hooking up in Cebu requires a bit of work, but I like the challenge, I enjoy the hunt (though sometimes the conquest can be anti-climatic as there are starfishes here too, LOL)

As always YMMV, but I prefer the laid back approach in Cebu
