Yes, I've been to Droz and it is exactly how you described it; very relaxed atmosphere. Its been two years since I've been to Minsk and I am certainly overdue for another trip. Probably in 2015!

It looks like Madison is still in the top league. A top of the range date took me there at the time.

Note their Motto " Money isn't everything ". My top top date at the time who worked for Belarus TV introduced me to one of her equally pretty friends. Took her friend on a dinner date and few drinks later and she told me she was going to London in few weeks time. She asked me if she wanted to escort in London, can she charge 400 euros a night?

With a fake surprise look on my face I told her, wouldn't know as I don't pay for Sex. LOL.

In hindsight, I should'v talked her into doing a shorter session at say 100 euros as I wouldn't pay in London 400 euros.

Never met her again. That was a big mistake, but that talk about 400 euros all night put me off.

And I don't do all night sessions anyway.

Time to put some life into this thread.

Got a trip lined up end of Sept early Oct to include Poland as well. I don't like to do cities during hot summer months.

Just found a link on this kinda of accommodation in Minsk and was wondering if anyone here used it as it sounds a good deal and is a good way of mingling with Minsk Folks.

I usually use Hotels only but if the deal is good, I might try it.

Sorry, I meant to reply sooner. I used Travelgirls, Badoo and Mamba mostly. Actually, the hottest girl I've ever sponsored was a university student in Minsk I met off Travelgirls. Belarus is not like Ukraine, for example. You must do a lot more work to find girls there. Also, keep clubs in mind. I'm not a club person but other mongers have mentioned success they've had at clubs in Minsk. Not sure how much this helps. I've always had a lot of fun and success in Minsk and I still have a bunch of friends there.

Usually sitting at the bar. However, I think it's far better to use the Internet and make contacts before you arrive in Minsk. For all who are planning to visit Minsk in spring. Be aware about Ice Hockey World Championship. 9-25 May 2014. I expect Minsk will be busier than usual and to find decent apartment will be quite hard.

Somebody told me if buy a ticket to the hockey game that you don't need a visa to enter the country for that time period.

Can anybody verify this?
