Hey all,

I wanted to see if anyone has any connections in Vila Mimosa. I was there tonight and got my iphone stolen while doing a girl. Morena goes by the name Bruna, tall young girl wearing yellow thong, went upstairs with her and the door wouldn't lock, but no one else was upstairs. She had knocked the clothes off the end of the little bed, while we were goin at it, which I didn't think much about, but then when I was finished, I realized someone had taken my underwear and my iphone was missing. I know it was the other girl there, as I saw her go down the stairs, and no other guy was around. Then I saw in the room next door my underwear and of course no iphone.

I tried talking to the original guy I had to pay, and he was like, No one took your cell phone, get out of here.

Interestingly the one girl I saw left to go home right then, and was escorted by one of the guys working there. I saw her get on the metro north but couldn't follow her any further as I couldn't get a metro ticket fast enough to board. I'm so tempted to just waiting for her one day now, and just follow her home, but I know the phone is a lost cause now.

However, wanted to see if anyone was connected there and knows if there is someone who can help recover it. Its an international iphone, and I've already sent everything to deactivate it.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I will post on a mixture of Tier 1-3 Termas, Privees and Non-Pro action + hanging with GDP's for free outside.

I have lined up 6 non-pros due to upfront legwork on date-sites + my old gdp friends who are always up for a bang bang.

One I already did the business with in MG-one flying in from SP,2 in Rio and one in Porto Alegre.

Its so easy on dating-sites I find, but I will always hit my have termas high and low to find new gems + some privees.

I agree. I havn't read the forum for one week and was hoping to read some reports about how the situation is now with the World Cup so close. No reports, just people looking for company to visit VM. Why not using PMs?
I hope all the Rio newbies don't do these meetings before visiting the prives in centro. It could damage the priv situation with a bunch of indiscreet gringos knocking down the doors in centro.

The amount of noise to signal in this thread is astounding. I had to look back to Azn Safado's post on 25/05 to find decent intel, I think.

With all the people supposedly coming to town in the next few weeks -- and apparently using this forum to do your meet-up planning in public yeesh -- it would be great if you actually post actionable new intel. The SP thread is so much better, go see how they do it! Thanks.

I will do my best to report intel during the world cup week.

I'll be either at Solarium or Monte Carlos Sunday night June 15. I will drop by Balcony, the same Sunday night, to see the talent there after the terma visit. And relay to the board what I see.

Since this is my 1st time in Rio, I can only compare it to my experience at the following-.

FKK Globe. Zurich - Awesome.

Hong Kong Club. Tijuana - Awesome.

Chilly Willlys. Playa Del Carmen. Awesome.

Tequila Rocks. Lima - Awesome.

FKK Manhattan. Frankfurt - Average.

Adelitas. Tijuana - Average.

Sorry ISG veterans, for some of the meet up comments lately. But the more wingmen the merrier! (esp since I am solo the 1st 3 nights I'm in Rio). And I just want to HANG, and drink some beers, with some cool dudes, like I did in Lima 3 months ago.

Papi speaks Portugese so that should come in handy. I don't speak it.

To any veterans out there, it is ok for 4 guys to stroll around VM area? Or should the 4 of us cruise the area in packs of 2?

Location is going to be a headache for me. The only affordable place I found to stay in Rio is with a carioca friend's family in Vicente de Carvalho, which is about 90 minutes (according to google maps) from Copa by metro. So getting to Copa and meeting a group should be carefully planned.

For 48 hrs, I am all elated that a terma is open on a Sunday when I arrive into GIG airport Sunday morning, and now I'm going to see the be & see level squads.

I am in Rio 8 nights, so I was saving Christ, Sugar Mountain, Santa Teresa and Lapa fun for Thurs, Fri, and Sat later in the week. (Going to Maracana stadium on Wed Jun 18 and Sunday June 22) And squeezing in 2 Termas, 1 Prive, 1 VM run, and 1 Balcony girl, is my latest tentative plan.

Manny51 - appreciate your advice. And yes I know, protests, ridiculous world cup alcohol, coconut, and beer prices, and muggings are other obstacles to overcome the 8 nights I'm there.

(still trying to find a wingman for Sunday evening and / or a Monday 11 am prive run).

Finally- (Tuesday I know all bets are off, for prives and termas, as Brazil plays Mexico that day at 4 pm Tues. June 17, so I assume all the terma & prive girls are at home with their loved ones to watch the Brazil national team play).

Glad you are going to Rio. I went recently as a first timer, and posted my thoughts in the General Info section. I hope you have a great time.

But as some advice, I would again reemphasize that Sunday and Monday are actually the worst days for punting in Rio, and Wed- Fri considered the best. This is in terms of the number of options you have and the quality of girls working. I know that you have to work around the World cup games, but I am worried that you have your scheduling backwards, and could miss out on some things.

Guys, help me out here.

Not sure if you are going to the Spain / Chile game Wed 4 pm. (I am going).

So Wed June 18 will be difficult for a VM run. (I can meet you guys that night in Lapa or Balcony).

I've heard / read that late afternoon (4 pm?) is an optimal time to go to VM. So Thurs June 19 works for me. England plays Uruguay at 4 pm in Sao Paolo that day, so perhaps we can watch the game in the VM area.

I am in Ipanema area for the week. Meeting up at Copa or Ipanema is convenient for me.

Since Grandmenino 1st mentioned the VM run idea, grandmenino should make the call on day and where to meet. If I can make it I'll go. If I can't oh well. I could always meet you guys for drinks Wed night or Thurs night in any event.

Also I read peak traffic is 5 to 7, so if we catch a taxi at 5 pm, it may take 3 to 4 times as long to get to VM by taxi.

1. Don't get your hopes up about getting an email response from 4 x 4. Seriously? Why don't you just go there? The centro termas are all within a few blocks of each other.

2. Even if these places are open on Sunday, I am going to assume that the girls working that day are going to be second and third string, not the starters. If I were you, I would just take the day off and do some general tourist stuff. Rio is a wonderful city. Go see the Christ statue. Stop by the Gracie jujitsu studio. Stuff yourself silly with feijoada without having to worry about looking potbellied with your clothes off. That's what I say.
