Guys,

Need help and advice. Am a regular monger, am planning to visit Dubai shortly. Its my first visit. Can you all give pointers about the followin.

1) Which area / hotel is best advised.

2) Heard a lot about Dubai clubs wich ones to target.

3) LE action.

4) What damages to expect.

5) How reliable are escorts who advertise on net.

I know these are novice questions, but its my first visit. Don't know the place.

I'll try and help where I can.

Hotels are a grey area and no matter how much you RTFF, things can change overnight. There is no clear status and sometimes you can call a hotel that is known to be green on the forum but the hotel will tell you otherwise. They may be doing this in case LE calls them to try and suss them out.

Cost-wise. Anything from 800 Dhs upwards to practically no limit for an overnighter. I'd say in the mid-price clubs you'll find asking rates of 1,000 to 2,000 Dhs for a fairly average looker (based on my experience in the Golden Triangle a few months ago. The Golden Triangle is York, Regal and Imperial Suites clubs in Bur Dubai AFAIK). Street action is a lot cheaper and you can also find daytime clubs like the one in the Astoria hotel at the lower end of the market if you need to scratch an itch during the day.

I only really know about the clubs I mentioned above and am also looking to venture out to other reasonably-priced clubs. Clubs get busy after about 11.00 pm. Most require an entrance fee ranging from 50 DHs upwards (sometimes in excess of 150 Dhs! You often get a free drink included in the entrance fee. If you want to pop out of the club and come back later they will stamp your hand and you can come back without paying another entrance fee.

Some of the abbreviations used here: CIS=white Russian, PRC=Chinese.

LE action. Don't make anything obvious. Be extremely discreet in public and hotel lobbies. Just use your common sense. I'd avoid walking along with any girl who is drunk or has taken any banned substances. Essentially, don't draw attention to yourself and nobody will bother you.

If you're taking a girl back to your hotel, make sure she has her original identification documents on her. It's likely that the hotel will require a photocopy of her passport as they have to account for all guests staying in the hotel for various regulations (like fire regulations and LE).

In the hotel room be nice to her but very wary and make sure anything valuable is locked away. Tip her in the morning if you're doing an overnighter and the service was worth it.

No idea about online adverts.

I'll be back in Dubai towards the end of the month, and was planning on visiting Regal. Along with Kubu, and Jules. Has a Regal lost it's CIS footing and gone PRC&African? And a 170 dhs cover charge? Yikes.

Sorely miss the days of JSF and the House of E. Sigh.

Regal does not have a 170 aed charge. Premiere does!

For over a decade I've stuck to the golden triangle. Almost exclusively York. But in my last visit a few months ago I was sorely disappointed. I've booked a hotel in Deira now and am looking for some club recommendations where there is some CIS amongst the PRC and Africans at reasonable prices.

And, yes, I have done some RTFF and gleaned some info, but am more interested in very recent experiences as things change in clubs over time.

FTR, I have been living in Dubai for 15 years so I'm relatively experienced and can give one or two a run for their Dizzer on the mongering front, I'd wager.

Admittedly I haven't ventured there because I hate the bring a girl or book a table scam, I have learnt from reliable sources that many of these girls can be found in the 'regular' CIS clubs on week nights. They put up an expensive kit (dress, make up etc) for Cavali and then charge more on a weekend, public holidays when tourists flock or during big exhibition weeks. In their 'normal' office they charge approx 1500 (regal club and its likes etc) to 2000 (premier club and similar).

But again, its your decision. You may like the ambiance and filter of Cavali and Zuma etc and that's ok too. It all depends on What is she worth to you that night at that moment.

Guys keep in mind that Cavali has a high cost for the girls and they will (obviously) pass this to you. I think it is 2,500 dhms per night to book a table, usually a group of 4/5 girls. I am talking from memory and the numbers could be wrong, but I remember this as a hefty investment for the girls.

From the places you mentioned, I have been Cavali a few times but did not see a good quality pick-ups, some hangers on at the far bar end. Am going to Siddhartha Bar this weekend, does it have mongering on menu too?

Fun. Last time I checked (just now) you did not have a PM facility. What JK said was you should RTFF, FR lot of experiences, then your Inbox maybe be full. Before that limited chance to get anything given the FR history for an experienced monger.

Agree with you WR. I think he has not understood what PM facility means. His style of asking open questions also indicate a trend in that forum. They share the information by giving cryptic clues instead of using PM facility. Hence you will see big posters in their forum warning them not to use such method

I think you have not understood what PM facility means. It is a Private Messege facility for which you have to pay 20 US dollars to get it activated. You do not have it.

If you RTFF last 20 pages of all Dubai threads you will find answers for above. Once you do that then you will ask specific questions and not general questions. You may not get answers for such general questions. Here people put in lot of hard work to find a place or girl. They will not share it easily with you unless you have contributed something to this forum. You do not have PM facility hence you will not know names or contact details.You say that you are a regular monger then it is surprising that you do not have PM facility.

ZUMA cannot be compared at all to those small times venues. Its a class apart. Its one of my favourite places as well. Specially for the food and drinks. Although expensive it does remain my favourite for a good time in Dubai minus the mongering. Its more in league of pickups from Neos, Cin Cin, Buddha Bar, Cavali etc with rates as yo pointed out 2000 AED above!

It is not in a hotel, they are at DIFC. This is a mixed crowd. Lots of non-WGs out with friends but enough WGs to keep interest up.
