When I try the little blue pill I get headaches because I also like beer and tequila when I'm in Tijuana, but nothing so serious that it'll end the party. You can buy a generic brand up the street from the zona for less than $5. In my opinion it works the same for me as the Pfizer brand. I'll be in the zona at the end of the month on Labor Day weekend and will be going to check out the bull fights. Xolos don't sell tickets more than 2 weeks out from there gm day when they play in Tijuana. Unless you get a xolos pass which is a season pass from what I've been told. New to the scene and unfortunately booked a nice vacation to Mazatlan. Was hoping to get a decent HJ there and wasn't even thinking about brothels in the area. Now I'm searching the web for Brothels / Escorts and saying screw the HJ LOL. Almost having second thoughts about Maz. As far as bars, Tropical and AB sound like a lot of great fun. I'm the kinda guy who takes a while to cum, maybe 20-30 min or so & I'm figuring I should negotiate with a club girl for an hour at around $100? With the shower, I would be cutting it close to cum in under 30 min. And would hate to get interrupted. Way more expensive in the bathrooms than at the pharmacies. I think I got quoted $15 once. I also don't need it but if helps out after fucking the 3rd girl in about 4 hrs.

Sometimes the towel guy will offer it to you if he doesn't have anyone else to talk to. $10 to $15 in the club, half that in a pharmacy. But then you don't have to worry about carrying it if it stresses you. It is definitely nice if you are staying for more than two. I have to take a Tylenol with it though since I get the headache / backpain.

Until my last trip, I would say the pharmacy (to the right), directly after you cross the border is a good place. But they gave me some either fake or old Cialis last time (it was a dull, brown, yellow instead of the normal gold-yellow). They sell individual pills in the bathroom at Hong Kong, but I have never tried that.

Viagra and Cialis do not require a prescription in Mexico, you *shouldn't* be hassled by Mexican police (the stories I have heard are for other drugs). On the way back if you bought extra. You probably should declare that you bought a small amount for personal use. The border guards will usually hassle you about getting a prescription (and often straight out lie and say it is a controlled substance), but they always let me through (since it isn't, and I declared it so they can't say I was sneaking it in).

No need to over think it. I was like that too where I would look at my clothes and think what is the best way to go. Most people I see are actually in t-shirts, jeans and tennis shoes. I wear jeans, polo shirts and casual shoes. No need to dress like a bum. Just wear regular stuff. Once you are there you will see you worried for nothing.

As for being a target. I live in Chicago. I've felt safer walking down articulo 123 at 1 AM than I have driving in Chicagos southside. Just stick to your plan, go straight to where you want and enjoy!

I agree. The area around HK / AB is perfectly safe. Or at least not dangerous. The people that I see that seem like easy marks are the guys who stand in the middle of the sidewalk and take out a wad of money to count it or flash an expensive watch or smartphone. Then there's the guys that are so shitfaced they can barely stand. If you look like an easy mark (either from one of the girls, a waiter, the cops, or a ratero) you'll be a mark. In Tijuana, San Diego, Des Moines or anywhere else.

Thank you Phordphan. My passport card arrived yesterday, so I'll remember not to pack any Hawaiian-like shirts just in case. I'll also try not to walk nervously, like The Cane implied, but that will be the hardest part for me. The druggy muggers probably look for slightly nervous behaviors to clue them into who might be carrying cash. I imagine even carrying 20 or $40 is enough bait for muggers to want to strike, but some of those zombies are probably trying to detect bigger fish. They know tourists sometimes carry money belts around their wastes, thighs, or arms, and that may be why Tijuana muggers sometimes remove their victims' pants and shoes, probably looking for money belts worn on the waste or thigh, and money in the socks. I'll try not to have bulky pockets. Maybe I'll wear my worn-out jeans with holes, and a dull, fading shirt with holes. The stoner look probably pays. Man, I don't like walking around in stroll areas. Much prefer wearing a suit of armor, also known as a car, but the Tijuana stroll doesn't seem conducive to cars.
