    Sad tragic news

Ok. I'm wrong. Perhaps they do have a traffic problem in the DR.

His hometown is Sosua. Rest in peace, Senor Taveras.

    Excerpt:

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Oscar Taveras has died in a car accident in the Dominican Republic, authorities said.

National police spokesman Jacobo Mateo Moquete confirmed Taveras' death on his Twitter account. Taveras' agent and the Cardinals' representative in the Caribbean country also said Sunday that the outfielder had died.

Taveras and his girlfriend were killed instantly, Moquete said. Taveras was driving a red Camaro while traveling between the cities of Cabarete and Sosúa.

    Just a report

I was in my house after my stay at Casa de Conductor (see post in General info) I went to GBP for another good session with Kenya (anal is on the menu, just stick it in don't ask).

Anyway a novia was nearby at a birthday party at a girlfriends house, she asked me if she could stop by for a bit, I said sure.

She came over and ordered a condensed milk from the colmado, 60 pesos. She proceeded to give me a BBBJ with the condensed milk for quite a long time, I couldn't finish that way as I had a session at GBP and it took me some time to finish.

After a while she got tired and offered the culito which I accepted gladly. I did not have any lube to her surprise and mine, however, she took me in nicely with some lip gloss. I finished and laid back down. She washed up and went to back to her friends party (asking me for 200 pesos), showed up at my place around 2 AM for round 2 of some ass. This morning, she wakes me up tells me to take a shower and then BBBJ to completetion. She gave me a list of food to buy and made me a NICE filet mignon, salad, and some other food. I spent 3 K on food that is still in my house, 60 pesos for the condensed milk for the BJ and 200 pesos for? Not much money for a good night / morning.

I feel good now and have a BBQ to go to shortly, and most likely will come home with someone. I will post my adventures with that future girl.

That's not a nanny state. That is big business.

FYI, I have a very good mechanic, trustworthy, does good fast work. IF anyone is in need of one I can give his information in a PM.

    Insurance for Motorcycles?

Since I hear that theft is such a problem there, I thought maybe getting some comprehensive insurance on my bike would be a good idea. And towing might come in handy too. Possible?

I got the same insurance as he has, 5500 a year for good coverage and tow's. I already have used the tow twice with no problem. Quick service no look for tip or extra charges. Very good service.

My friend has used the casa de conductor more than once in his travels and he explains it is worth it.

Also, insurance is manditory by law. There is a minimum but i am not sure what that is.

It is not totally dependent on that club being open but, it is my favorite and it is where I spend the majority of my night time activities when in the DR so if it is closed it may tip the scales in favor of going to one of my other favorite countries for the weekend instead, like Panama, Colombia, El Salvador etc.

    Do the locals have insurance?

We are talking about a third-world country here, so I would not be surprised if Casa Del Conductor is not "island-wide comprehensive coverage" and only applies to places where the casas are located, as you stated above; which means the coverage option must exist even though you have not had it offered to you.

So it may not be too useful for someone who is taking the rental all over the island, but if you happen to get in a wreck on while in SD or Santiago, then maybe so.

Definitely worth it IMHO.
AVIS, but don't get the insurance in the states. Get the one at the counter.
