The free fire stuff is not publicized, there was a news report of some guy going crazy inside an edesur office. Complaining about the prices and generally causing problems, he had no weapon but was ranting and raving. The security guard shot and killed him with a shotgun, there were no reprecussions and the security guard got off scott free. They had video on the local news. It depends who you are and where you are.

The tourist police can do what is required to protect tourists, private security in the resorts can do the same.

I was at a resort with a novia and decided to do her on some lounge chairs near the ocean, the resort had a beach party that night and we were far enough from the party it was dark and we decided to go for it. After we were done, we noticed an armed security guard had place himself with his back to us but facing the trees to "protect" us. He was in the shadows with a shotgun and I did not notice him at first, my novia did.

I was told by the security forces that people sometime try to enter from the edges of the resorts, also they have enter the beach with boats to rob the guests and they are allowed to repel them with any force they see fit.

I don't doubt any casa will accept that much if you offer it. 3,000 to 3,500 is the high end you have to pay at the places around Pasteur. 1,000 to 1,500 is normal for places off the tourist track. GBP is one of several. Of course you have to add another 500 to 1,000 depending on how many taxistas and touts are involved. Maybe some of the experts here can share information about how to get to the places without the taxi and tout noise.

Years ago I saw 2 dominicans steal some gold chains from 2 female tourists and hop on a moto to get away. A politur tackled the motorcycle and held both at gunpoint until backup came. Backup took the gold chains and the 2 female tourists in a car, possibly to fill out a report? One crook was in handcuffs, the other had the shoe of the cop on his back. On the Road again.

Gents Old Kool is locked and loaded. Heading to the Dr in 2 weeks. SD and Sosua with very loose plans. I can get a manicure pedicure and 30 minute massage for 1000 pesos in classy salon on El Conde. Great way to recoup from the travel. In SD my first night maybe with the sister I missed on last trip. She loves getting her pussy eaten almost as much as I like doing it. I did not share this before maybe I should have, but have not talked a lot not trying to argue. An interesting thing happen on Conde street a little while ago. I was walking on conde street and a gay black american man was punched in the face by a Dominican man. The Dominican was promptly arrested and I asked one of the touts what was that about. He said the dominican man was very angry that the black man did not pay him for having sex with him. Now, I was not really watching the fight because the black man did not hit back and I am not one to stop and watch, but when I saw the dominican man promptly arrested and he was being led away I had to turn back and ask what was going on. Just thought it very interesting to have a violent Confrontation in the middle of the day on conde street. How can people be so different in there expectations of one another. I live here and have seen some shit that would not play in the states, but it may be necessary to keep the criminals in line. I live in a gated community with armed guards, I have not experienced any issues but I feel safe here and inside the gates nothing happens.

I have a good time on El Conde. Ladies know we are there and come looking for business. I got a manicure pedicure and a massage for 1000 pesos. RTFF. There are pictures in the picture gallery. How each man quantifies quality is never the same. Not sure why you would go to place B looking for what you found in place A though. Why not just return to place A. If you are intent on going to place B then have an open and objective mind and be ready for new experiences instead of thinking of how it differs from place A.
