I have been to Poseidon a couple of times. But the best has been Nataree where you have good service and options, but rooms are a bit run down.

They were run down for years, but sometime before June 2014 they were remodeled and are now quite nice.

Visited Patpong 2 why-day evening. Spent most my time in Electric Blue. Being disappointed on Soi Cowboy, Crazy House perhaps excluded, I was pleasantly surprised to find at least 3 really good-looking young slim girls. I love Mexico but not so much Mexico City, the city is much bigger than Bangkok and can be very dangerous while Bangkok is safe. Also in winter considering that is 2300 meters high can be quite cold.

but as has been pointed out it is cheaper than major cities in North America and Western Europe. Prices have risen in Bangkok and a US dollar no longer gets you forty-plus bahts. However, the favorable exchange rate was an aberration. Hotels are much cheaper in Bangkok, especially the high-end hotels. As FruitNinga recently pointed out a hotel in a first tier city in the USA comparable to the Sofitel would cost $500 a night. You can buy good street food for less than fast food in the USA; and high-end restaurants are much less expensive than comparable restaurants in the USA. For example, I have been to Zuma in Miami, Florida and Bangkok several times. The food, beverages, service and ambiance are comparable. But I spend less than half as much at the Zuma in Bangkok. The biggest difference is in the cost and quality of sex. A couple of weeks ago I went to a popular club in Miami. I spent several hours there, had several JW Blacks, bought a few drinks for a couple of the dancers. Had a good steak dinner and spent a couple hours in a backroom with a very attractive dancer. The room was comfortable but had no bed or shower, just a very large sofa. The lady was very attractive, in my opinion.
