After some recent discussion about Bintang Mawar I decided to go there. A rather dark place which plays lots of Chinese songs which reminded me of CP in Southern China. There are a few P4P venues such as Maribaya Massage in the Melawai Hotel, Malioboro, and some of the North Jakarta bars that are open during the daytime, although some of these don't get going until 3 pm or a bit later (Maribaya gets going earlier). I do not really have a budget. I simply have other trips planned for after Indonesia and Philippines back in the US and thus would like to conserve my money as to allow me more things to do in the future. If I go over my planned amount and have to cancel somethings that is not a problem.

For whatever reason, I find that the brothel girls up North do not perform as well when you bar fine them and take them home as they do when they are in the bar itself. They get lazy in my room, so it's normally not worth the trouble. At least that's my experience.

You're not the only one.
