BUT more importantly, I want to address your hypothesis of my character. Quite frankly, you might need to review the prescriptions offered by any medical professionals you have may have consulted. I suggest you bring in your tin foil hat to be re-aligned during that same visit as well.
Just a little research into the nature of my previous posts will clearly reveal the sincerity of my character.

Posts: 74The "best" advice. (And a produce review.)
I must apologize for my carelessness, omitting to mention, that if you are so casual or naive to presume that the majority of what you read here is accurate, then I need to sell you a lot of real estate.
Veterans may have assumed such status in your eyes, for no other reason than because they have extra time to purge their dreams and fantasies on these noble hallowed pages. The only advice worth anything, is to go figure it out on your own. If you put forth the effort, you will no doubt learn, that there is no substitute for experience. The best you can hope for from the internet, is to pick up a few bits and pieces.
On that sour note, may I please do a 180 and interest the membership in a review of the June fruit offerings of my local bazaar? The pears are quite exquisite at the moment, and as I recall, the same holds true in the fall. But nothing compares to the tomato variety that I believe is called the 'big uglies' here at home. Once you cut a wide and deep gaping hole out of the center, to remove the stem scar, the flesh that remains is so incredibly delicious, it is practically a meal in itself. A sprinkle of salt, and a measly piece of bread and cheese, and you've reached nirvana.
Only Natasha's tangy red muffin can put a bigger smile on my puss.
And before anyone else offers up their own political theories in response to my pathetic amateur analysis, please take a look at today's Reuters article which provides a most interesting view offered up by Russia's once richest oligarch, none other than defunct Yukos oil-empire owner, M. Khodorkhovsky. Jailed but since pardoned, and momentarily out of reach in Switzerland, he calls the entire confrontation scenario with the West not much more than an artificial distraction, to create an enemy in the Russian public's view, in order to maintain the status quo at home and in doing so, prevent any real changes in their system's balance of power. Hmmm...if anyone would know, he might.
Even if true, I still maintain that as mongers, it is our duty to fully invest in the future of Russia, by doing all we can today to support their people and businesses. They aren't communists, after all.

What the hell does Vladomirovich actually want? I asked many natives, and they just don't know. He's your riddle-wrapped-in-an-enigma, as they say. Love him or hate him, but please respect him. God help us all, because there seems to be nobody on the other side capable of effectively reaching him to de-escalate this mess. Certainly there's no one in the 2016 race on either side who can, or is even interested, to find a peaceful solution. If we're honest, it's probably hopeless, we're all just doomed. What a waste, what a shame. We really fucked it up. You better hurry up, get it while you can. You never know when that last train's a coming.
On the slimmest chance that you are genuinely in need of some direction, and for the amusement of the membership, we'll spin you around a bit and hopefully get you sorted out, though I doubt any of this is real.
(A) The provinces is strictly a CIS term. Perhaps if I had used the term Oblast? A geographical lesson of the glorious motherland will reveal there are 46 of them. America, as you know, has states. Naturally, I reside in one of the 50. In the context in which I was speaking, I was merely comparing what we here refer to as our, (in this case) a 6 month long self-imposed-in-between-adventures-CIS-exile-period-of-abstinence, with a very short period of time abroad.
There is though, an exception to this. 9 years ago, I had the fortune to meet Olga at my local Blockbuster, an authentic siberian-born blondinka by way of Berlin. Though beset by enough crippling psychological issues too serious to allow her to successfully adapt here, I still had the pleasure to spend a few months sponsor-tearing that ass up, before eventually putting her on a flight home to her mama, with some black dude's bun in her oven. Yes, there are Russian ladies here in America, and if you get really lucky, you might meet one, and get some. Hell, I've run into at least a few in the elevator in my own building.
(B) Please familiarize yourself with Airport Codes, as that is the not-in-population-order list I included. Second level cities is a reference to the ten metropolitan provincial capitals with +1 million inhabitants, which obviously, as the term 'second' implies, does NOT include the mega-metropolies of Moskva or S Pitr. Evisceration and anonymity be damned! Leave your fears at the doors. Hesitation, is what will kill you!
In other words, Mr. Shaw, just forget about small towns.
P.S. If you are my uncle, I sincerely meant no dis-respect to your authority. You have a job to do. If I may be of assistance in your efforts to nab uber bad guys, of which I am not one as I always abide by all rules, both foreign and domestic, I gladly offer my service.

Of course, there are a handful of countries that are worse. But only a handful:

Would it really matter all that much if the whole situation was different or better?
Probably not. Such as it was, anyone who's been there, and is honest about it, will tell ya that, in spite of what's happened or will, nothing would be better for the West than Russia leading Europe. If changes like, no smoking allowed in cafe's, and only wine with meals and no other alcohol served on international Aeroflot flights, do not tell you which way the wind is blowing, then you're just missing the point.
Because if you can just see past all the bullshit here, and understand that all of us have a chance to contribute, then there's no reason to hesitate. I've emphasized repeatedly that generosity and good will can go a long way, as long as you respect their customs and you keep your nose where it belongs. You're selling short by pinching kopeks with these ladies.
I realize that everybody can't afford to splurge all the time, but if you know what's good for you, that idea should be your true focus. Time and again, the lessons have been laid out here, if you simply trust the masters and apply the science. Don't take my word for it, figure it out on your own. There should be no room left for doubt that second level cities are brimming with quality companionship, from SVX, OVB, KZN, VOG, GOJ, RoV, CEK, UFA, to OMS, it's all happening, still. Packing two thirds of your luggage with just presents doesn't hurt either. Modesty and humor goes a long way. So does some talent. Being creative doesn't hurt either.
I went for 6 months in the US, without even attempting to get laid, and I lost out on nothing. By the third week in the provinces, I had to turn away offers, though I'll admit that the damn blood pressure and diabetes meds take a huge toll on my ability to finish what I get started. Nobody's fault but mine.
All I'm really trying to say, is that if you can, there remains an unlimited opportunity to work as hard as you can at home, and turn that investment in yourself into an investment in friendships in the motherland. If you hang in there, eventually it all pays great dividends. The hassles of traveling can be a burden, so be smart and try to max out your playtime. With the current forex advantages, you really can't lose.
I proud to say that my most recent excursion was consecutive CIS adventure number 30, with no other mongering destinations to break up that streak. What with ladies like Lera, Lida, Dasha, Masha, and Natasha, I'd gladly return another thirty times. Their passion does not diminish, if you stoke it. But you have to go for it, take the path less traveled. The greatest country on earth.

The other 4 you mentioned I don't know yet, never have been there. Have you checked them on Mamba / VK? You can start making the contacts even before you go there. I also want to visit Perm as well one day.

What is your opinion on the other cities I usually see mentioned, like Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Omsk, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, etc. Are any of these worth visiting?

But if you put remote cities like Irkutsk or Yakutsk, the things become more complicated. By plane that would be relatively more comfortable.
In Samara I saw many European looking women, very open people. I definitively will come back to Samara this year.
Fist I did want to go to Kazan (I heard about many muslin women living there etc. Which would make the game more complicated), but anyway I decided to make a stop on my way to East. Well, I was quite surprised with the Tartar women, they are more Asian style, but also pretty imo, and not as closed as I thought before.

For a Russia first-timer I would remove Irkutsk or Yakutsk from the list and add Samara+Kazan.
Good luck!

Besides Moscow and St. Pete, which city do you recommend for a Russia first-timer?
Specifically, I want somewhere not as hectic or expensive as Moscow, with a surplus of quality college-aged girls potentially interested in leaving Russia.
I was thinking about one of these cities, going eastward: Nizhny-Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk or Yakutsk.
I don't care about mileage or distance from Moscow because I will be mostly traveling by train, on the cheap, saving the money for the really important stuff--the girls. So I want your recommendations to focus exclusively on the likelihood of finding college-aged non-pros, no matter how far or un-Westernized the place may appear.
P.S. I will only speak phrasebook Russian, so the girls I meet shouldn't expect fluency. It will be that plus a combination of English, Spanish, French and German.
