3). Casas are a good choice but they are in a very dangerous area. You would be a fool to go there by yourself.
4). These places have 99 percent more local customers, and you have to be aware of the local customers robbing or kidnapping you when you leave, so be extremely careful.
5). Other places I would recommend would be staying at the Mansion or whatever it is called these days, and going to the bar on the premises, La Cueva, and hanging out with the old men who generally frequent the place, and who can offer you good advice, introduce girls to you, and where you can have a conversation in english.
6). Freelance bars I would highly recommend is Help of Medellin, LDV of Laureles, and Tequila Rocks of Parque Lleras. The thing to be aware of if you go to these freelance places is that the girls are known to use scopolamine on there clients. I will post at the end of my post, a story on this particular drug.
7). Yes these freelance bars the girls will go home with you, but also know that they might set you up to be robbed when you are in your room by using the drug I mentioned, or by calling a friend to come over, and at a set time they will open up your door to let them in. Another thing you have to be aware of is these girls that work in these freelance bars, or the girls that work the street, have police officer friends, and they will call them and tell them you tried to sexually assault them, so this friend will come to your hotel room, and take you into custody if you do not produce a large amount of money.
8). Yes I would highly recommend you book a room for two. Some take the identification of the of the girl and some do not.
9). For additional information read the Medellin forum, or contact my good friend Vitrea who loves helping new comers to Medellin, and who is more than willing to be your guide free of charge if he is in the city. You can find him by reading thread or by doing a name search here on the ISG.
10). Good luck to you and be safe.
The most dangerous drug in the world: 'Devil's Breath' chemical from Colombia can block free will, wipe memory and even kill.
Scopolamine often blown into faces of victims or added to drinks.
Within minutes, victims are like 'zombies' - coherent, but with no free will.
Some victims report emptying bank accounts to robbers or helping them pillage own house.
Drug is made from borrachero tree, which is common in Colombia.
A hazardous drug that eliminates free will and can wipe the memory of its victims is currently being dealt on the streets of Colombia.
The drug is called scopolamine, but is colloquially known as 'The Devil's Breath,' and is derived from a particular type of tree common to South America.
Stories surrounding the drug are include how people were raped, forced to empty their bank accounts, and even coerced into giving up an organ.

I am planning on coming to MDE soon. I have traveled to other countries. I do not speak Spanish. How much problem am I going to have in getting around? How dangerous is it? Are the taxis safe?
A friend mentioned Luna Lunera at night and for the day to go to New Life and casas. Are these two areas safe for a single traveler? Do these places have more gringos or local customers? Do you have any other suggestions of places that you highly recommend?
Are there any freelance bars? Are there bars where the girls go home with you? What is the hotel policy about bringing girls back to your room? Do you have to have a room for two? Do they take the girls ID?
Thank you for any information you can provide.

Posts: 254I have been using this site for years for V and C
http://www.alldaychemist.com They ship all over the world including the US. Someone recommended them years ago on some forum here on ISG. I have no interest in their business LOL.
Their products are made in India by major Indian pharmaceutical companies and I have always found them to work well.
This is a good V generic and costs a little less than $1 for 100 mgs.
http://www.alldaychemist.com/manly.html
This is the C generic I use now.
http://www.alldaychemist.com/ceebis.html
On the Ceebis you have to send them a note telling them you will not consume it in the USA, but that doesn't stop them from shipping it here.
Also less than $1 per 20 MG pill. I cut the see into quarters and just take the 5 MG daily dose. Usually all I need. If I'm going to try a Marathon, I might add a quarter fo a V to it 25 mgs and I'm good to take on the Swedish bikini team.
Shipping can be up to $25 but then now have a promotion with free shipping on orders over $250 and $15 shipping under $250. I've also gotten generic antibiotics from them that seemed to work well too.
I have probably placed 6 or seven orders for them over the years (I buy a years supply at at time) and it has always gotten through US customs with no problems. I think on their web site is says if it does get pinched in customs they will re-send. They label the package right on the outside with a label saying medication for personal use.
I prefer to arrive at my destination with this in hand, so I don't need to run around to local pharmacies and take chances getting inferior or counterfeit products.

Posts: 316Yes. You can get Viagra or Sidenafil, both over the counter. Generic tends to be cheaper as always. I forget the cost but I want to say around 10 or 20,000 COP per 100 MG. I have purchased from the pharmacy at any Carulla.

I don't recall, can you purchase Viagra over the counter at a Medellin pharmacy? Whats the cost per 100 MG? How about generic?
Any recent experiences.

Re recap for the Youngbloods: Once you clear customs and walk out the big double doors, big meeting areas (roped off), past the Tigo charge wall, The snack stands, pass all that then there is a stair case and maybe elevator too I'm not sure, right up them bad boys behind you will be 2 or 3 ATM (the Green one gives 780 mil a pop) and then there might be one on the ground floor just keep on walking*.
Been reported but not a confirmed kill.
Look at that! Useful info on ISG? With no name calling or drama? Miracles do happen! Hahahaha.

Posts: 586Greg is still around. I saw him two or three times on my last six trips this year. WHen he's around, he's usually at the Castillo. He travels a lot watching cricket, etc. He kind of keeps to himself. It seems like his hard party days are over.
I always got along well with Greg and like him. He always treats me very nice when he sees me and is quick to give a referral. He had a stunning young blonde with him one day. I still kick myself that I did not take her myself.

Posts: 7Trip Report Oct 21 -25 in progress. Final installment
My buddy and I started Sunday at 8:00 am with early morning massages at the Castillo / M-2 provided by Olga and Alexandra. I recommended Olga for him (had her once before. Amazing) and this was my second time with Alexandra. She's had some nice, soft implants installed since last year and they really go well with her sweet personality. The 150,000 pesos ($50) that I paid for a therapeutic massage followed by a nice HJ in an unrushed session got my day off to a good start. My buddy also came out of his room with a big smile.
We then headed off in a taxi to Sabeneta to do some people watching and taste some street food. I felt a little guilty sitting at a table at a nearby restaurant watching the locals in standing room only outside of the church listening to a sermon. That was a nice way to spend an hour or so. Everyone seemed happy down there.
After heading back up to the Castillo (and by the way, I may have exaggerated a little about the hill. It's not like mountain climbing or anything like that. Just imagine walking up to Row 50 in an SEC football stadium), we headed over to the new Tesoro Mall (Centro Comercial El Tesoro), just a 10 minute cab ride from the Castillo. Man, this place reminds me of Beverly Hills! There is an area near the Crepes & Waffles Restaurant where you can look out over most of the valley. Even on a somewhat rainy day, the view is still spectacular. The view inside is pretty spectacular as well. Some of the higher strata soccer moms that we saw were awesome.
After a shower, we headed down to the Mansion anticipating that there was going to be a Sunday afternoon cookout. We must have missed it but at 4:00, there were several girls out by the pool. Most of the guys were sitting in La Cueva watching a football game. I didn't come here to watch football!
Somehow, the best was saved for last for me. One of the girls whom I had seen earlier in the week brought a friend who had never been to the Mansion or to the Castillo before. In fact, I'm convinced that she had never been paid before. She was 22, long frosted hair, all natural except for the braces. A sweetheart.
She works Monday through Saturday at a clothing warehouse in Laureles, attends the University 2 or 3 days per week, and generally spends time with her 6 year old daughter on Sundays. I guess after seeing her work her ass off for so long, her friend decided to show her that there was an easier way to make ends meet.
After spending some time with a fellow monger and the chicas by the pool, my buddy headed back to Castillo with Jessica. Spent some time with her earlier in the week and she was nice. The other guy and I treated the girls to some pizza. Thanks Dominos! Pizza for 5 or 6 delivered for $13! I love this exchange rate.
Eventually, the other guy and I shared a cab ride up to the Castillo with his girl, Angie, and mine, Cindy. I could tell that Cindy was uncomfortable initially. She swore to me, and the staff at the Castillo confirmed that she had never been up here. I figured that if I handled this correctly, it would work out well and it did in a big way.
I assured her that I was not going to harm her in any way or move any quicker than she was comfortable with. We listened to some music on TV, cuddled some, and I pulled out some flash cards in English and Spanish so that we could practice together. That was a good ice breaker. After a while, she was smiling and laughing and appeared to be relaxed.
Eventually, we took a nice warm shower together and then I gave her a long back rub before she turned over and we began to kiss. She was as sweet as sugar. She never seemed concerned about time or money. She genuinely appeared to be enjoying herself as much as I was. We never even looked at the time until it was nearly midnight. By then, we had been together for several hours.
Although I will keep the details to myself, she stayed with me until 4:00 am. We set an alarm on my phone so that she could get up, get a shower, go home, and change clothes and get to work by 6:00 am. Before I paid her anything for her time, I asked her how much it would cost for a cab to where she lives. I gave her more than she asked for because she was truthful. I had no indication that she had any expectation as far as payment for her services. I'm convinced that she was brand new at this. I know that some guys will jump on my ass for this but I gave her 300,000 pesos /$100. She was thrilled and believe me, I got my money's worth and then some.
I also went downstairs and gave Amada, one of the ladies who work here and made my breakfast and cleaned my room every day, a 50,000 peso tip. She was thrilled and gave me a big hug. I did that last year when I stayed at the Mansion and when we arrived this year, Flo and Lilliana called me by my first name. Either Robert or Boyd have trained them well or they simply understand how much guests appreciate good service.
I can't remember ever having such a good time in 5 days. I will be back! Hope this trip report will be useful to someone thinking about coming to MDE for the first time!
