EDSA entertainment plaza: Can anyone tell me the location of edsa plaza?

There are solid reviews on individual Bars inside the EDSA Entertainment Complex complete with a description of the bars, the girls, prices, and suggestions on the optimal time to go. I know because I have written a couple of these reports myself and have read many more. All you have to do is search the website. Try COTTON CLUB, FIREHOUSE, & PITSTOP - the top 3 bars in the complex.

The EDSA Entertainment Complex is a competitive alternative to Burgos Street Bars especially if you are staying close to the Bay. The EDSA Bars, on average, are a little less expensive than Burgos St. Bars. You will find some real nice girls in both locations. I prefer Burgos St. slightly over EDSA, but that is just me. I consider both locations the two best places to find working girls in Metro Manila and therefor in the entire PI. Think of Soi Cowboy vs Nana Entertainment Complex in BKK and you will have a fair idea of what I am talking about.

There is no EDSA Plaza as such; the place that you want is called the EDSA (International) Entertainment Complex and is in Pasay. If you google that (maps or search), you will find it very easily. It is handy to the SM Mall of Asia and NAIA.

BTW, EDSA is an acronym for 'Epifanio de LOS Santos Avenue', and most maps use the full name. Without this knowledge, first time visitors can easily get frustrated searching for EDSA Ave, or EDSA Rd. And the Avenue is quite a long freeway (questionable title), going through Pasay, Makati, Quezon and probably a few other cities.

Its great when we are surrounded by loud, verbose, opinionated mongers who open their mouths and jump right in. Lifes probably better when you are kept in the dark, right mate?

Though it is true that most of those targeted have been Filipinos, some foreign travelers have also been subjected to the scam. I'm a frequent traveler on the Davao-Manila route, and caution about the scam has caused me to use Terminal 2 exclusively as I think it's a bit more difficult to perpetuate the scam activities there. Speculation among many of my Filipino friends is hat the whole thing is being orchestrated by one of more politicians whose campaigns required additional funds. The tepid, or rather indifferent response of the President and his cronies lends some credence to this contention.

Long term mongers once again appearing brain dead as one stated these scams tend to be Pinoy on Pinoy and one stating he is not sure it will be perpetrated against foreigners. Of course this scam will be used on foreigners and foreigners will be asked to pay more than OFW or Filipinos abroad ?

Well, one should add the costs of one's own first drink, BF, girl's fee, and her taxi tip. All of those costs are directly involved. Secondary costs would be one's own additional drinks and taxi / bus / jeep fare - one can walk. Tertiary costs would be drinks for her friends and momma.

In any casino there are high rollers at the poker tables while there are penniless hobos prowling around the slot machines. Now I know where I stand. .

In other words, the economical way to pick up a girl from Burgos is to not go to Burgos. Glad we got that cleared up.

One still needs to go to Burgos to select the girl. But one does not HAVE TO pick the girl there in the bar.
