just wondering if I should be worried about her intentions. Can anyone recommend a hotel? I will stay at her house from tomorrow til Sunday,
then I guess stay in Bogota a few more days and then catch a flight to medellin. I really have no idea about where to go for P4 P in Bogota other than santa fe which I hear is just dangerous.

Santa Fe is not dangerous for the average man.

Someone's got to jump on this!

OK, last I knew China and Colombia had pretty stable relations, I'm pretty sure the Artisan by Marriot is open to Chinese visitors! LOL! Ok, you had it coming since this is your first post! Obviously you meant is the hotel chica friendly, but your post has been sitting out there with a bullseye on it! Welcome to the forum. Here's my advice to you.

    1) Take the direct approach and contact the hotel via email and ask what their policy is regarding guests / visitors. Since it's a Marriot, you'll probably be able to email them directly.

    2) Read the Forum. ! There might be a post about this property. But I do believe there is a post or section on here specifically dedicated to chica friendly hotels.

    3) You can probably sneak the girl in after you get a good lay of the land. I. e. Know where elevators are vs. Front desk. Is there a lounge or seating in the lobby that you can interact beforehand so as to not to draw the immediate attention of the front desk. Word of caution though. Chica friendly hotels usually ask to see the girls passport and quasi register her for your protection. They may even hold her ID until she leaves for your protection, making a call to your room to make sure you're ok before letting her leave. Again, read the forum for posts regarding this process.

    4) If the property isn't 100% chica friendly, they may charge a modest guest fee, which is still a deal considering the USD vs. The COP exchange rate. And lastly.

    5) Keep your valuables (watch, money, passport, whatever) pretty well hidden and out of site. An innocent visit to the bathroom on your part, or that quick shower you feel you need to take. Can have your wallet be gone. And you might not realize it till the next morning. And by all means. Be friendly to any Chinese you may encounter in the hotel!

Would be interested to know about the "bad experiences" been there numerous times and never had an issue, locals are spoiled by Santa Fe, there is some pussy house bitching in one of the local hobby information boards, because the talent is not as good as Santa Fe or as good as it used to be. To me Pussy House remains a good, inexpensive and safer option than Santa Fe.(and easier to get to if you stay in Chapinero or the North side)

To me having a good time there depends on you. Manage your expectations, , have a good and fun attitude (don't be stuck up, flirt with the ladies, they like that), move around, don't be stationary, go see what is going on on the second floor, walk around the first. Try not to be in a rush, take your time, some jewels sometimes appear from the woodwork. Most important, when you see or find somthing you like, pull the trigger, don't wait (made that mistake a few times), call her over, walk to her, get a waiter to go get her, buy her a beer or whatever.

I should be there is a couple of weeks, will post an update when I complete the trip.

I have a professional masseuse who works in a hospital as a physical therapist. She's Smokin Hot, speaks no English and gives a great deep tissue 1 hour massage for about $30. I've been seeing her for a few years now. Did try for a H. E. A few times but she is very professional and I got nowhere. I never pressed it for fear of losing her as a therapist. She will come to your apartment.

    PM me for her info.

According to locals you should avoid Pussy House, too many bad experiences.

Red Light District is not that bad, I recommend you to walk down Calle 24 to arrive and leave the place, it is very safe. Within Zona Roja just walk fast and stay alert, I did not have any single problem during more than one week going there that way. Keep in hand some 500 COP coins to keep away hard feelings from guys asking for money, I hardly gave five coins (not even a dollar) to those who asked for money and they were really grateful.

Just keep in mind "No hay que dar papaya" (show valuable objects or walk distracted) to not get robbed.

    I hope this is helpful.

    Comparing Bogotá and Sosua

Copied and pasted from the Dominican Republic board:

I would like to get some opinions comparing the 2 places.
I can only compare Bogota and the DR, and Medellin is really the monger capitol of Colombia.

You know the routine in Sosua, say no 30 or 40 times until you find one worth a yes. Or you work the Cupid girls and line them up and hope they show. The cost of either is about the same.

With Bogota you're dealing with a city of 8 million (census) to 12 million (according to the locals) people. Except in the Santa Fe area, the Zona de Tolerencia, it's not anything like Sosua. Overall, the people there are healthier and more attractive than Sosua, but that might just be my preference. In 10 days there, I saw one woman I would consider obese and maybe 50 who I would call fat. I spent every day riding the Transmilenio and walking the streets, so I got a good view of the population.

Prices are comparable to Sosua for food, lodging and chicas. The only real difference is that, like any big city, Bogota has places you probably should avoid. Most of the worst areas are in the south and west. I stayed north, near Parque 93, a popular nightclub and shopping area. Great hotel for about $75 per night, breakfast included.

With Sosua, everything is either walking distance or a short motoconcho ride. With Bogota, as long as you can get to the Transmilenio, everything is pretty accessible. Cost is 1300 pesos off peak and 1700 pesos during peak times. Currently it's about 3050 pesos per dollar. The cost gets you into the station. From there take any bus, transfer as many times as you want. I spent a few hours just riding and getting a bigger view of the city. The altitude might affect you. It keeps the climate very comfortable, but the lower air pressure means you'll probably get winded quicker.

There are a few things to worry about in Bogota. Taxis, especially in the Santa Fe area, can be dangerous. Always better to call for a taxi than to flag one down, especially at night. There's a scam where two men will work together, one pretending to be with the police. They lure you somewhere to verify your identification and to make sure you aren't carrying drugs or counterfeit money. A couple were arrested at the airport several months ago. One other trick is to spike your drink. This happens occasionally in the strip clubs. When you head to the bathroom or while you're distracted, someone drops something in your drink. Then they lead you to a few ATMs, then back to your hotel, you wake up the next day and everything is gone.

I didn't try exploiting the cupid scene for my Bogota trip, but I'm sure it's an option. However, I expect the girls will be less easily impressed than in the DR. Bogota is a world-class city, they are less likely to be impressed with cheap gifts. I also didn't venture into Santa Fe, as it wasn't a mongering trip, but plenty of information is available.

The different strengths, IMHO, of Sosua, Bogota and Medellin.

Straight sport fucking, go to Sosua. It's safe, cheap and everything's within reach. Maybe best of all, there's plenty of fellow mongerers to chat with when you're not otherwise occupied.

For more varied mongering, go to Medellin. The casas have been recommended by many.

For a tourist vacation with mongering opportunity, go to Bogota. Take a ride up Monserrate, visit the gold museum and other cultural sights downtown, head out on Sunday morning to experience Ciclovia, hit the discos in Zona Rosa, enjoy a burger and beer at La Hamburgesa, and an arepa at La Areparia Venezolana. And either venture to Santa Fe, or pick up some of the streetwalkers, try the various massage parlors, use the many escort services, or use your magic on cupid to keep your bed occupied.

It really all depends on what you want to get out of the trip.

Pros go for 60-70K COP for "el rato" (20 minutes).

Yes it is safe for a single guy once there, getting there may not be so safe if walking (depends of what direction you are coming from and what time of day), I would not walk from or to the south after dark or to from the west (the other side of Caracas, away from mountains) no so bad walking to or from the north. Better take a taxi.

Juan Pablo is not closed, I was there like 3 weeks ago. It just moved a block away from it's former location, but that was already a couple of year's ago.

  14. #4243

Norte clubs. What is the current status?

Since Juan Pablo's closed I notice that there is not a lot of info on mongering places in the North. Are any of the places around 85 still in business? Some of us still do not feel comfortable going to Santa Fe. Would appreciate your advice.
