So what if they can tell? I do it all the time and have a great time doing it. I do it because I enjoy going out, dancing, eating out and hanging out. Like all finer things in life, you have to put some thought into it and manage it. The girl and you have to dress elegantly, behave appropriately and pick the right place to go. For guys that like to take working girls out, they are saying that for them it is not just about sex. The girls I take out, you will never be able to tell they are working. However, you may be able to tell by looking at me that I must be paying her to be with me. My problem. Not hers. Ha ha.

The way I see it, and as long as she is willing and does not feel uncomfortable being seen with an older man, I don't care what the rest of the world thinks.

This has been my first time to South America so was not sure what to expect from anything, I'm more of a Asia / Europe guy as it's quite comfortable and cheap there. I've been very pleasantly surprised here, as the girls are absolutely stunning, it's really cheap and it's a lot safer than I would have thought (I thought I would just get mugged constantly LOL) I've not felt in danger so far. Only been here for about a week and only managed to go out twice as I'm with family and both nights I went to Face dos. First was on a Friday the place was packed, so many nice girls in the club, something for every taste. Having a ball! I haven't had a guest over yet, but Sites Hotel is very nice; gracious staff, good bed in a nice room with kitchenette and killer view, rooftop pool and a good breakfast. Thanks for the recommendation!

Just to report, I've only been to New Life, Energy and Fase Dos so far. Sophia at New Life was great (had to go back to see her already) as was Fernanda at Fase Dos. I haven't found much luck at the other casas, yet Energy has changed a bit since my last visit. The one hour price is now 140 K. And there seems to be quite an upsell vibe, but that may be from my choice of Susanna, she's (probably 19 or 20), a beauty, lots of fun. But the upsell didn't impress me. Just had a nice regular session. I may go back. I had a water and she ordered up a couple of bottles of some mixer drink. That added 20 K to the bill, so this was part of the up charge vibe. It's all good no harm and no foul; just not the Energy I enjoyed before. Still, Energy had a nice lineup.

I agree 100 percent. I have no problem getting dates for my self for new years eve but if some one is new in Colombia and don't know many girls then I am sure he will have a hard time finding some one during those dates compared to other normal times.

Yea, I agree with that. I used to be putty in their hands. Now I got to ration my ammunition over the course of a trip and I'm much more in control.

Funny I said and thought that when I was in my 30's about my 20's, then 10 years later I say that I wish I had the stamina that I did in my 30's, then 10 years later I said that I wish I had the stamina that I did when I was in my 40's, now 10 years later say I wish I had the stamina that I did in my early 50's, on and on.

I've been walking this route for the past couple of days; no dogs in sight. Maybe the problem got somehow resolved. It's nice neighborhood stroll; peaceful and fairly flat.

LOL. There was probably a heat and you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I've seen packs of dogs in many countries throughout my travels, the worst being in the Corn Islands of Nicaragua. Stray dogs so thin it looked like a bunch of four-legged skeletons roaming around and puppies so hungry they were eating dry leaves. Travel, unfortunately, isn't always pretty.

The Charlee is the hip new hotel in Poblado so it's overpriced and probably not chica friendly. This Loyds Hotel option looks pretty interesting, $50 a night for a jacuzzi and a large bed sounds like a good deal.

Of course, the better love motels offer large jacuzzi and all other sorts of amenities at very reasonable prices, so you may not even need to stay at a high-end place in Poblado.

The Charlee I see between 125 and 250 depending on demand. It is a big hotel and there is a sushi place on the top floor that is open some weird schedule (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday I think). You could sneak a girl in there pretty easily but you would have to sneak her.

Look into a hotel named Sites. It's in Poblado and I was lodged there from 28 October to 9 November of this year. I have a review of the hotel titled "Excelente (Excellent) for Medellin!" over on TripAdvisor. Sites is chica friendly and is a 7-minute walk to a nearby Exito supermarket, a 9-minute walk to the Poblado Metro station, a 10-minute walk to Parque Lleras, and a 12-minute walk to Oviedo Mall.
