I rode a poor moto borrowed from my friend, and took her to my apartment.

I was fooled by her clothes, and she is only A up.

1st time she was OK. Then, she said the after 2nd run, she wanted to leave and grab something to eat.

In fact, I didn't really pay attention.

I was thinking to give her 20, but you know, bad skill didn't make it.

It ended up that I gave her 30.

She said that she would come back until morning so that she could get the full amount. Balabala.

A lot of people complain about being the only customer in a Hostess bar. I don't mind this, although to be fair I don't normally go alone. So the bar is what we make of it fun wise. All the girls are available this is a plus. Its the bars that are full and no available girls that when we take a look inside that we will reject. Being an expat takes the "must do tonight" factor out of it. The girls also get to know you and dont try the lady drink scam on you unless you are in the mood for this. They know you and will respect you if your nice and fair.

Whatever it is, BigOwl is spot on. Phnom Penh is not what it was up tonabout 6-8 years ago. Where nowadays do you see girlie bars packed with people? On my recent trip in January this year I vaguely remember in Street 104 one bar on one night had a good vibe with mix of men and women. But most bars all up to Street 136 only had the occasional customer in or were completely devastated. It was easy to spot, the more girls sitting outside, the less customers, or more often none, were inside.

Came back to Cambodia after 8 yrs and was very disappointed to see that the Martini bar has closed and have reopened a small one just down from the walk about. No girls and not worth going. Phnom Penh bar seen has gone down hill in that time as too many bars have opened and now everyone is spread out and most places don't have enough people in there to have that good vibe. Miss the old days.

Just tell the moto or tuk tuk, lady lady Japan bridge, they all know where to go. When I was in PP last Sep, the Waat Phnom area was dead due to police crack down, but Japan bridge was also quiet, very few young ones, now hope things are back to normal.

I would say the bars on street 104 not only have the most talent, but also the best atmosphere.

All that being said I like to cut to the chase when mongering, as in "Hello, how much? Hostess bars really aren't my thing and the FLs I've seen so far are either too old and / or dirty looking so I haven't fucked one broad in my 8 days here. I do like being in PP, but the mongering (at this time around) just hasn't been my cup of tea. Really looking forward to Beach Road in Pattaya.

It's my first time in PP since Feb. Last year. I have been here four nights, coming from 18 nights in Angeles City (Philippines), but have not sample yet. Truth is I've had a slight cold and haven't really felt like it, but now I'm ready. I've noticed that quality in the Sorya Beer Garden is now a waste of time in the day time. It was always a reliable spot for cheap, day time action, but all I've seen this year are old ladies. From reading some recent reports this seems to be the norm these days.

Tonight the plan is to hop the hostess bars, then walk around Sorya before heading to Pontoon. If I don't find anything at the bars or Sorya.

I have been in PP late Dec / early Jan for a week and another week in late Jan and thought I'd share my experiences.

1) There has been a crackdown on the street girls around Wat Phnom. Tried three of them (10 $ each) but listless and not worth the hassle. BEWARE... if you take them, do NOT let some motodop drop you off at a guesthouse in the nowhere. There are three good guesthouses for 5$ in walking distance
(2 minutes by foot from Wat Phnom).

2) Most bars such as formerly great Happy Man bar are now pretty much deserted, not worth it. Some. Like Loco and the well-known Sharky's seem to do okay, although none is my fav watering hole.

3) The bad news is that Martini (off Monivong) has closed for good in November, and that IS a REAL loss.

4) However, The NEW Martini (which is just a bar) is open just in the street across Walkabout (when you have Walkabout to your right, turn left, right side after 50 meters). Same staff, some of the old girls and no barfines. Bit calm but whoever used to go to old Martini goes there, too, so a good place to meet up.

6) Speaking of desperation: Again beware. Do not get emotionally involved and stay out of the quarrels the girls have among themselves and with Johns.

There is one girl in her late 20's at Soraya, Sreymom. Hair half length dyed blonde, slim, nice figure, mostly in shabby clothes. She'll do what you want but will come back like a bad penny, so it's best to stay away.

Another girl you should avoid is Lina V. (that's her real name) a / k / a Sreyoun Aihisdiz. She's a looker and the best lay I ever had but her brain is totally smoked out.

She is actually pretty good in manipulating people and I heard a few disturbing stories about people whom she cost dearly (20000 $ upwards, besides Ice she is into gambling and spending whereever and whatever. She'll tell you a lot of BS stories about her baby who is in care and the caretaker she can't pay. Even fooled me for some days. Baby does not exist and she will cry in your ear how much she misses and loves you while getting stoned and hooking up with another guy. I got wise just in time, so also avoid. The pics below are all her, and yeah, she can look different if she wants. If you have the hots for her, do her but do not give her money before you are done, do not believe ANYTHING she says and NEVER, EVER send her to get something for you. She will not return. Right now she will try to keep engagements short because she got a tripper, apparently she offers bareback service. Do I need to say that is a big NO-NO especially in PP?

7) HoD is a good place to hook up with parttime girls. They will usually not go for less than 50 and expect to be treated with some respect, but I met four girls there Da, a voluptous, latin-looking cutie of 21 with a PERFECT body, Sreyroth, a slim, cute 18-year old usually dressed up in white, 171 tall and 36 kg, stunning and Noi, a very sweet and friendly countrygirl from Kandal. Perfect figure but hands rough from garment factory, 22 years and very sweet.

8) Pontoon works either, although I prefer HoD.

9) I have to repeat what was said before: Stay away from letting Tuk-Tuk drivers take you anywhere, unless you know the driver well. Mine is driving me for 5 years and has kept me out of trouble a lot of times.

10) If you can't find anything appealing, consider paying a bit more and go to LE Cyrcee. Still prettiest girls in town, 18 to 25. If you ask the girl to come to your hotel after 1 am, you can avoid the bar fine there.

11) Avoid the girls around independence monument, trouble and not worth the cost.

12) I will be back mid April for a week or so as I am eager to do Da again. She keeps emailing and calling me without being demanding, apparently all she wants is that I take her out again when I am there, so that'll be fun.

13) I have a few Cambodian friends, and one way to have a guaranteed good time there is to treat the girls nice if they deserve it. Most do. Inviting them for dinner or brekkie goes a long way as well as some courtesy. Buying a girl some clothes is advisable only if you want her for longer than just one night. If you are married say so when the girl asks, she will appreciate the honesty. A lot of the part-time hookers would like to get married to a BArang but still do not mind some NSA fun.

Just to bring it a bit into perspective, I was just there last week and took this Viet twice for a negotiated price of 10, which is low, and tipped her another 2 $ for excellent enthusiastic blowing sucking and fucking. I knew her already from before. I don't think they are very pushy but they can effectively block other girls from approaching you. However I have to chime in that the overall quality and eagerness has diminished quite a bit. Also there is a big difference to me with the Cambodian girls as they are more into going with somebody they already have a rapport with which of course is much better for the local expats or repeated visitors who can establish such relations.

Well after the luckless 2nd day, I played it safe for the 3rd day and took my Viet sweety for a 2nd run. This time she came over without eating first and hence was keen to get out of there and get some food. So not as good as the 1st night.

Throughout my stay had tried a few different massage places to see what would eventuate. Previous poster had some success at Mango so I tried that initially. I always go for the oil massage as you are already naked and has the most chance of leading to something else. The mango girl they assigned wasn't attractive so I just went with the flow. I didn't ask, nor was I offered there. On the way out saw some other girls that might have been more my type. Tried another spa on the main riverfront, very nice girl, dark room but when I whispered for some extra she said no. The final one I had "success" is just opposite the Ohana hotel. Nu Spa. Managed to get a handy but $20 from an unattractive MILF, only did it as I was leaving that day and still a little left over from my blue pill the night before was making him more excited than he would be normally with such a lady. Closed my eyes as her technique wasn't so bad.

That's it for my Cambodian adventures - heading back to Saigon where the girls and food is more to my taste.

2nd day in PP was a day to explore the various options outside the bar scene from the previous night. I had a good tuk tuk driver during the morning to visit the S21 horror and then casually after we stopped for lunch I asked if he knew any good massage place without going into specifics. Now my tuk tuk driver is a grandpa with many grandchildren so he's probably not the best guy to be up on the current massage scene, but anyway off we go to the "paradise" massage. From the outside it looks seedy and I thought you devil old grandpa does know what I mean. Into reception and I just blatantly ask if there is any special massage, to which reception shakes her head. I look at the couple of girls there on the couch and decide it's not really worth pursing anyway. So off we go again with grandpa and he stops and makes a phone call to try and get the lowdown on where to go. Eventually we head back along the riverfront towards the Casino and beyond to a massive establishment "Soul Golden City" which is also mentioned in one of the reports of distinction. 4 floors for KTV and the 5th floor is the massage area with fishtank for selection.

At 2 pm in the afternoon there were about 20 average girls in the tank and 2 that I was deciding between. I ended up choosing the one jumping up and down and smiling and keen to be selected. $10 for the massage and everything else is negotiable. The girl I chose was Cambodian, early 20's, ok looking, not fat. Into the nice hotel like room with shower and large bed. As soon as the door closed the hassling started on the price for boom boom. I think she started at $150 if I remember correct and so I started at $20 which was met with an equally disgusted reaction to mine. From there thing deteriorated with me threatening just to leave if she didn't accept below $80. So once I started packing up she agreed on $50. Into the shower and when I come out my tuk tuk driver is now in the room and ready to "help" with negotiations. So I just told him I'm only doing massage so there is no expectation that he need to take a commission. After he leave she tries to say something about $20 which seems to be that she needs to pay him. I didn't budge on the price so then we start with the action. Onto the bed and she starts to give a furiously fast HJ and then goes to get a condom for BJ. I said no boom boom only BJ and no condom, so she keeps going with the dry HJ and keeps just asking for more money non stop. I loose the plot then just get up and get dressed hoping to swap to another girl as I really can't stand this attitude. Such a change from the friendly one in the fishtank. She demands the $40 and I give her $10. She starts making threatening gestures and I have no idea what sort of guys are running this place but I will not budge from $10 as I was only there on bed for 5 minutes. Her voice gets loud and I'm sure people outside can hear. I open my wallet and pull out a few hundred and asks if she happy with that, all the time my anger levels rising. In the end I give her another $5 and she storms out and off to the fishtank no doubt to warm the other girls about the "bad guy".

I had a quick look back at the tank and decided she had already poisoned them so decided to move on.

Later that evening headed to Darling Darling at Naga around 11 pm. Fuck the place was packed, smoky and had way too many guys for my liking. Lots of rich looking Asian dudes with tables and bottles and girls. Stayed for one drink only as it was a bit hard to establish if some of the better looking girls were with the guys or not. There were some clear freelance ladies there at the bar, but with the noise levels, lack of space and not the ideal place to negotiate a good deal so moved on the other nightclub in town called Pontoon. As I was about to enter a tuk tuk driver grabbed me and "warned" me it was too early and no girls were inside. He said he can take me to a place. My 24 hours in PP led me to think it wasn't really such a dangerous place and that it was relatively safe to go with the tuk tuk driver. So go away to a few streets away and park in the dark shadows, ok, now this may not have been a good idea after all. Suddenly some moto comes up from behind but luckily he was just a delivery driver for the girls. Eventually we stop near some decent looking massage places but they just seem normal massage to me. Then another moto guy (really serious looking pimp. Kinda scary with scar face) turns up with the decent looking girl. Fuck it, I'll just take her for $40 for an hour. So she hops in and we start to go back to the hotel and I ask if she does does "yum yum" (BJ). She shakes her head and I can see she is very reluctant / non respnsive during the whole trip back.

By this time it's after 1 am and my patience / stamina is wearing thin, so when we get to the hotel I just tell the driver that she doesn't do BJ so I'm not interested. Then out of the blue, the damn scary pimp on the bike rides up next to us demanding payment. They speak a bit in Cambodian but by that time I had my $10 ready to give the driver to ensure there was no arguing over how much his fare would be. I quickly paid him the $10 and made a hasty retreat to the safety of the hotel. Once inside I peeked to make sure they had left as I thought the pimp may have been ready to cause some trouble.

In the end all good, but a frustrating night.
