Guys,

The Casa owners from my experience is the one who pays for the touts services. Now if she adds it in your bill and reduces it, maybe its due to her deal with the tout being completed and her wanting to give you a reason to return. Cubans are natural go-getters and think they are smarter than gringos and they usually are. Learn the hustle even if it takes you loosing a few dollars because once you are seasoned you will be enjoying some very nice benefits. Don't burn bridges and make enemies, chalk the negative situations up to growth.

Great report. I think the Cuban hustler you are referring is not Ramon but Raymundo Mendoza. This guy is a douche-bag! At 1st I thought he was a good guy but then things got brutal FAST. He is known to charge you more for girls, taxis, food, casas etc and then get a cut. One example is when my buddy went to Holguin and met him at the airport. The taxi rate from the airport to Holguin is 10 CUCs. This mofo at 1st asks for 25 CUCs, then tells my buddy, he'll give him a "deal" for 20 CUCs. Eventually my buddy settled for 15 CUCs. At another point, the casa charged 25 CUCs. After I cut off my ties with this guy, the casa owner tells me that her rate was 20 CUCs but Raymundo raised the price to 25 CUCs to make 5 for himself. Guys, 5 CUCs might not seem like a lot of money but it can quickly add up when you're on a vacation. So please do yourself a favor and use this ass-hoe to your advantage. He can hook you up with things but don't let him take you for a fool. I have attached a couple of fotos of him.

I'm glad you appreciated my report but you are 100% wrong on that being the Taxi driver / friend I met. The guy was top notch. I had dinner with his wife and had some great times with the guy. He was no way a hustler. He was a guide that taught me a ton about life in Holguin.

And yes, the ride to the airport is is 20/25 cuc. Its a long ride. Same rate as in Havana.

So you want him to hook you up for free? That's not how it works Sir. You pay extra for a comfort zone and to have things lined up and easy. Once you learn how things work you can't ditch him but in the meantime he has to eat. The increased airport fee is a little higher because he had to drive there to get you. The other taxis are basing there fees on one way as they hangout at the airport. Paying 5 CUC extra to have easy access to Casa is fair. Doing it yourself would have been time consuming and tedious. Look man, some things petty in life you have to learn to let go and move on, not trying to payback people who charged you a couple dollar extra for their services. I'm not buying your argument.

Holguin 5/2016.

As I did last October, I flew to Holguin from Havana. This time, after 4 straight flight delays on the trip, my luck would change. I met Ramon, my taxi driver. He was awesome and very very knowledgeable. He spoke some decent English as well. He was well versed on chicas, nightlife, and having a successful taxi operation. He took me to my casa. It was on the third floor of a casa. And even though it had privacy, I would still have to have the lady of the house unlock the gate and take a chicas carnet as needed. I am definitely not a fan of that but Ramon and her both said it wasn't an issue.

Monday night-Cruised around the 3 parques. Definitely some great looking girls running around and showing off their stuff. I ended up at the popular Benny's More on this night. It's a sweat box. Started talking to a chica and what I assumed was her pimp. I asked her how much she wanted and she came back with $20! Wow. Off we went. Pretty good service. A bit rushed but for $20, who cares? On the next day, I asked Ramon about that and he said local guys pay $5, tourists pay $20. He said to never ever pay more than $30! WOW!

Tuesday morning I spent 2 hours in line getting my phone activated. I bought a permanent line plus $10 in credit for $30 at the office in town. It was a painful wait but I had a book and did some reading while I shoulder bumped Cubanos to keep my place in line. It was like a sport LOL.

Tuesday night I had dinner with Ramon and his stunning wife. After that we went to Nocturno Caberet. That's the second hot spot in Holguin. It's only closed on Mondays. I was playing angel as Ramon's wife was there but I eventually made some local friends and they took me to Casa de Musica. More drinks there. Good crowd. After that place closes, it gets thin on options. Zotano is it. It's a cool place but a bit sketchy. Consider yourself warned LOL. We all partied until 5:30 am. Needless to say, I was a mess the next day.

Wednesday I rested. At night I was in the parque, watching the nightly show of hotties. After a few beers I approached a few with my high school Spanish. They were all nice and shared some recommendations of where to go. I eventually ended up in Casa de Musica and was talking to chica from Monday night. She wanted a second round and wasn't pleased when I started talking to this tall glass of Cubana milk I had met in the parque. Her and I talked and she started her price high at $50 plus $15 for a room. I told her I knew the prices and it went to $30 and $10. Off we went walking but I followed at a distance. It was a weird experience doing that. Service was OK but what stood out was her BJ skills. Holy heaven. I got to find her again LOL.

Thursday night-Same song and dance. Parque for the preview and off to Nocturno with Ramon. But he was flying solo this time and wanted a snack of his own. We bounced around for a few hours talking to a few. I met a local cutie and chatted for a bit. She didn't have a cell phone or an email. But I got her friends email and promised to write. Crazy to think that some people have neither. Anyways, Ramon and I had chosen our snacks and off we went in his taxi. He dropped me off and then he found a dark spot to do his deed in the back of his car. #classy. LOL. My service was OK. She kinda looked better with clothes on LOL. Service was $20 and it wasn't even discussed because she saw I was with a local.

-I spent one afternoon at Villa Madarin. It's a resort just outside of town. Nice pool and view with hotel rooms. Would be a fun break during the week to do. Just bring your own snack.

-I still feel that Holguin has the best looking women in Cuba. So many of them and they all don't like Cubans because they are so cheap and they all have 5 girlfriends. I got to meet more of the locals.

-If you want my taxi drivers info, PM me. He was a huge asset. We even toured two fully private apartments where you get your own keys and you don't need to check in out with anyone as you come and go.

Do the resorts north of Holguin like Memories have any action going on?

I stayed in Guanabo a couple of years ago and there were local girls hanging out on the beach ready to shack up with you for $20 a day.

Hey guys,

I did my first exploratory trip to Holguin last week. Flew in on Mon and out by Wed. Stayed at a casa particular after my taxi guy briefly asked around about a fully private apartment. I found out later from a bici taxi that there are a few available but they are rare.

Monday nights hot spot was Benny's. It's a cramped music venue with a stage. Easy to find as its near the central plaza. Plenty of action standing around outside the club. Most are the young chica crowd.

Tuesday nights hot spot was Nocturno Cabernet. It's a bit of a bici taxi haul on the way to Las Tunas but soooo worth it. The talent still racks my brain. Young and gorgeous and willing to take $40 cuc! I had some help from a local guy that started chatting with me. We started buying each other rounds and eventually took two stunners back to his small place. Great night!

Also a lot of action just walking around town. I thought even better than Vedado. But everyone here is super conservative, nobody will talk to you. Be bold and kind. Hang out in the plaza too. Everyone is there with the new wifi locations.

My buddy made comments that the action is even better on the weekends! I can't wait to go back! Happy travels!

Maan, I really miss camaguey and more specifically camaguey girls.

I honestly think the reason why I love them so much even though I been around is because they are so so so removed and detached from the internet, MTV crap. Etc and from all western pop culture BS and consumerism. For me, they retain a human innocence and firm grounding in what matters in life.

I love Colombian women girls too, mainly paisas, but they are some of the most spoiled shrude bitches I've ever seen. Even though they could come from poor families and have no internet or computer at home, you see them on their Facebook posting crap.

For each of the five trips I made there I found an amazing special girl that left an indelible impression on me with passionate sex, inteligent thoughtful personality and more. Medellin, I've been their 10 times and lived their at times for 3-6 months and nowhere close!

Cuban woman have spoiled other women for me. LOL.

But like I said in the past as I bring US dollars, it's really hard to just stay in Cuba for 3-6 months unless I bring a fat envelope of cash!!

For now Colombia or possibly the DR will have to do for the next 3-6 months. Maybe I'll do a foray to Cuba from there.

If you are sitting on the sideline I say go to Cuba. Best women in the world! Just forget all the mongering BS. All you need is kindness, respect and patience in Cuba.
