Excellent reply!! This politic of CBJ at Nataree is just non-sense. Who thinks I will fly 10-14 hours from Europe to see really beautiful girls for getting CBJ? Especially in BKK where some thousands other swill give it even without asking and frequently even CIM.

Yes; rather lengthly reports on TV showing the authorities combing though books of records. Plus the prerequisite leg shots of the ladies sitting around and hiding their faces. Lots of press on this one.

Ah, it's good that the customers didn't get in trouble. And I assume the papasans and the girls will get off free as well? I actually became "friends" with some of the girls and papasans there. Hoping they are ok. Am wondering if I should contact them and see how they are doing, but don't want to get into trouble myself for contacting them!

According to reports Nataree had over 400 girls on its books and 90% of them are Thai nationals over the age of 18, so that's a lot of girls who will be looking for work. Where will they go? Isn't Alaina owned by the same people?

A lot of jealousy from competitors as well. Also another point worth mentioned is that the shareholder of Nataree may not belong to the same camp as the establishment. All this sound too familiar again, probably another internal conflict.

What about the customers at the Nataree raid?

    Nataree raid

The story is the the raid followed complaints by NVADER, a New Zealand NGO. It's likely 'loose talk' from posters on this and other forums led to the complaint. There have been a few comments about 'indentured' and [CodeWord902] girls on this forum, but only 3 out 115 turned out to be [CodeWord902] and they were probably nearly 18. Any time you talk about these things on this forum is just going to give these NGOs ammunition. I fear this is the beginning of the end of the soapie scene in Bangkok.

The best bit is the observation than " . The raid apparently followed three months of preparations and evidence gathering with officers posing as customers. " The officers were almost certainly arguing for more time, to gather more evidence. Three MONTHS?
