BrazilKing asked Hey fellas.
I want to visit Colombia for the first time. I've been to Brazil and DR so this isn't my first rodeo. I have some of the usual first time questions.
Where should I stay?
- I suggest the Stuttgart Marriott.
How's the food?
- Good, get the herring it is a national favorite.
Where are the girls? Casino, walking around, hotel lobby, night clubs?
- Try the top of the CN Tower, it is your best bet.
What's the average price?
- Hard to say but start with 2000 Talon and work you way down.
Are overnight stays common?
- Only on the sixth Tuesday of every month.
What airport do I fly into?
- Book your ticket into OVB.
Better answers may be found though reading through this forum.

Posts: 83Well I like a lot of sex. Quite a few hours a day. So that's 18 dollars turns out to saving 100 dollars a day. 700 a week. You can do math.
And I am by no means rich, but spending one minute to negotiate is not much work. You are probably some trust fund baby who has never had to work. Daddy will send you more money right?

What airport you should fly into depends on where in Colombia you want to visit. If your destination is Medellin, fly into the Medellin airport, if you're wanting to see Bogota, choose the Bogota airport. I'll leave it up to you to figure out how to get to Cali or Cartagena.
Where you should stay depends on many things, like which airport you fly into. It also depends on your comfort level, Spanish knowledge and the amount of research you're willing to do.

Be in MDE next week a few days (5) would a day trip to Bogota be recommended? Or split the stay 50/50 Mde / Bog? Any input appreciated.

If you are on a small pension or live down there, of course you should do bargain hunting.
