It seems MarcoStraight is not up to the challenge so here goes.

So you arrive at the airport with 30,000 Baht. Take the airport Link to Phaya Thai and change to the BTS. Take the BTS to Mo Chit station, all for about 100 Baht. Once you arrive, take a taxi to MoChit Song for 60 Baht, this is the name of the bus station nearby. There you can catch the bus to Pattaya for 120 Baht. Once in Pattaya, take a baht bus to your hotel for about 50 baht.

Now the hotel. Malee Pattaya is near Central Pattaya. It is 450 Baht per night which is very affordable and quite reasonably looking, picture attached. 420 25-31 Soi Buakhao (South Pattaya) | Nongpue, Banglamung, Pattaya 21180, Thailand. This is just an example, there are many similar options available, just use booking dot com to search.

Food is next. Spend your days eating street food such as mango or pork and sticky rice. On some days head over to sizzler for their lunch specials at 200 Baht or less and get steak and all you can eat salad bar with Pasta, soup, and fruit. There are also plenty of cheap eats in small restaurants and pubs everywhere.

Mongering the most important. Go to Soi 6 in the afternoons, have a couple of beers and choose a lady. The whole encounter should be 800-1,300 Baht. In the evenings, head over to Insomnia, beach road, or a beer bar on soi 7 or soi 8. In all locations, you can find a lady LT ranging from 1000-1,500 Baht. In summary, you will have the company of 2 ladies each day with one being together with you all night. Plan for 3,000-3,500 Baht per day for mongering.

Another interesting choice would be to pay 1 lady 15,000 Baht for 6 nights of LT. Find her on the internet before you come. Cut her loose daytimes to eliminate shopping and food expenses for the lady. Just 6 nights of action.

Now, just reverse the travel instructions and head back to the airport.

Not exackly 30,000 Baht but close I think. Sorry no photos of Sizzler and street food but there is a 10 photo minimum per post.

So in summary. As long as you can afford your round trip plane ticket, you can have a great time mongering in Pattaya for 6 nights and 7 days for under $1000 including hotel, food, ladies, a few beers, and transportation to and from the airport.

It just gets even easier.

Quite a bizarre advice to chase jetlagged people who just left their plane with the luggage on to the airport link, out of the airport link into the unconvenient Phaya Tai BTS station, and out of the BTS find the bus in Mochit. Why not just recommend for those who want to save the 1500 Tb for the taxi to take the bus directly to Pattaya as the airport is pretty close to the Holy City. Cost of the bus is 120 bath or something, as the bus arrives in Jomtien, a bath bus would take any Khon Jon (poor Charly) for another 10 bath to Central Festival area.

Is there a bus directly from the airport to Pattaya? If so, please provide info on where to catch it at the airport. Never mind, I've just found the info and here is the link:

I am not defending anyone here but you should contribute something to the forum before making a comment like that. I tend to agree with you but you have really not earned the right to complain about the content of other posts with a post count of 5. So even though Marco is a little over the top with his comments, he has earned the right because of his contributions to the forum as wells as Syggs when talking about the quality of girls.

Why don't you set some rules up for us so everyone knows when they can consider offering a comment.

1. I try very hard not to overpay. I can afford to. But I don't, and I certainly don't set high expectations. I believe in under promising and overdelivering.

In Thailand, the max I agreed to pay for LT was 2,500 for a girl in Insomnia (not a beer bar or Go Go girl) who was 8 in terms of looks, dress, figure and age (20). And, she had a German boyfriend, supporting her from afar. It was NOT my best experience. She clearly preferred the 20 something guys. And had been in Pattaya for over a year. Had learned from experience. In other words agreeing to pay a bit more, a priori does not usually (for me) turn out to be great at the end.

2. The best ones were those that agreed to 1,500 LT, BUT when they were great GFE, and they stayed with me for several days. They were all under 28 and 6's and 7's. I find that to be the sweet spot for GFE and where I can set the expectations the way I like it ( for me). And after the night, they never asked me how much. I took them shopping and spent some money on them. When they left they Never counted what I gave (before they left) or even looked at it, and simply put in their purse. And, in such instances the min I paid in cash was 3,000 baht per day.

So, in other words, when I find a girl that is great GFE, is really nice and I enjoy the chemistry, they simply stay for as long as I want them to. THEN I always pay way more than they expect. So, I only expect for find say about only 1-2 such girls every week. My next 5 week trip, if I found 5-10 these kinds of girls , I would be super happy. That's all I can handle. I prefer to stay with a girl for several days.

They never knew, and had no reason to expect shopping/gifts. And, I did not try to ever tell them that I will contact them again when I return. And, I have not had any contact with any of the, since I left Thailand. Pretty much the same in all countries with maybe about 10 exceptions in total. (who I see again).

3. And my 20 year old oil massage girl from Isaan (From a massage place near Central Fetsival mall) initially stayed LT for the night from 11 pm until 9 am for 2,000 baht (4 months ago). And later she would just drop by on her own and just stay. Never asked me for anything. No negotiation. That's what she asked and I agreed without hesitation. I knew she would be great. And, she was.

4. In the DR, or in So Paulo, or Fortaleza or Curitiba, or Peru. For example. When I meet and hook up via the dating sites, I never talk money. Never. If they bring it up, or ask me to send them $, I delete that contact / conversation. It is only in Thailand that I talk money ahead of time.

5. I am going to the DR in about 3 weeks for nearly a month and I have at least another 50 net new contacts (after deletes) and at least 15 of them I'd say very good. All 19-23. And, none of them have brought up money. The ones that did were deleted.

In general, in my experience, the higher the expectation in terms of $, ahead of time, the less the GFE. But, I'd say out of about at least 100 in the last 3 years, 80 plus percent have been great. And about 20 PC very great. 5 PC bad and I quickly parted company. Another 15 per cent, no GFE whatsoever and again parted company in less than 2 hours.

So, I am not inexperienced and I don't agree to pay a lot. And keep expectations very low.

AND, very importantly I do NOT do ANY short time (a priori). Some may turn out that way only because I choose to cut it off early.

BUT, when the girl is great, I do go above and beyond and in Thaialnd gladly pay 3,000 or more baht or more, not including food and gifts. Or in other countries (not Thailand) , many gifts and trips with them to all inclusive resorts etc. , in addition to cash. One girl in Peru was so great and stayed with me for 4 weeks. And did so many touristy things, dance clubs, restaurants, shopping etc and when I left I gave her nearly $2,000 USD. But she had already begun to tear up by the elevator. It was imply great GFE and simply great chemistry.

The point being there are many nice women in many of the above countries, if you learn how to talk to me them, engage them, be truly nice to them. But, being generous after tha fact, and rewarding the ones who are great GFE, beyond their expectations pays off well for me. Call it what you want, but maybe there is some sort of karma. And even if not, most girls can tell guys pretty quickly. They may hide it. But they know it. Particularly the jerks and the assholes. So, maybe there is some sort of karma (negative karma) there as well.

So, what I am trying to say again is that there are many nice girls....but it takes time and effort. The hit ratio for me ( scoping out a place like Insomnia ( or a dating website in other countries ) is less than 10 PC. So, it requires quite a bit of effort and experience.

I care not what one person pays compared to another, on this Pattaya section, I only care about what people are paying in general, without people jumping in and crucifying others for how they spend their money. In addition to the reviews on the quality of the women in gogo's, beer bars, etc.

I have a confession to make, and you are not going to like it. My entire mongering career, I have been spoiling the market. I have paid over the odds for beautiful women in Thailand. On a few occasions I paid market-rates, for example paying a Beach Rd girl 800 baht. On those occasions, I received mediocre service: she was in and out (as was I, hah! Hah! . . . umm), wham, bam, thank you maam. I did get my rocks off, I paid relatively little, I was mildly satisfied in a purely physical sense, but at least on those occasions, I did not spoil the market. Good boy, Kumbu, good boy. At least I tried.

But then my weakness overcame me. I found beautiful women in a nightclub, or a gogo bar, and I wanted to have more than just physical copulation. I found that the easiest way to do that was to be slightly more loose with the cash. I tried other things, of course. I took them to dinner, or tried to be a charmer, or dressed very nicely. I tried smiling like a goof ball, or to be the strong silent type. But in reality, and the reason we are all here on ISG, nothing works like the cash, and that's the Golden Rule. So I would over-tip, paying a total of 2500 baht for ST (gasp. . .), and the lady would smile on her way out. The next day, I was back with her, and she was fucking my brains out like I was the only man in the world. On those occasions, I was utterly satisfied, just fully spent and properly satiated. Of course, I had spoiled the market (tsk-tsk), true, but I had a smile on my face.

And on even more decadent nights, I would offer the girl 4000 baht for ST: whaaaaaaa? I know, I know, send me to the gas chamber, I totally deserve it. If you like, call me a. . .

I get it. And of course, on the subsequent encounter with that girl, well, let's just say that my balls were on fire. But to be honest, there was not an appreciable difference between 2500 baht and 4000 baht, and so I figured there is a sweet spot. Anything over 2500 baht (for me at least, given who I am, my age, my ethnicity, the chemistry I can generate with the girls, and what the girls think of me), the law of diminishing returns kicks in. And so my sweet spot is somewhere in the 2500-3000 baht range. That's been my experience, and I'm sorry, but you just cannot argue with that. Decades of experience in Thailand and I have found that this amount is what works for me (it does gradually creep up, I must admit). I will gladly share this information with people on ISG, and they can do with it what they please.

The issue for me is that there are two sides to the 'Don't Spoil the Market' equation: payment amount, and the return on that investment. What did you actually get in return for your payment? For me, I pay 2500 baht and I get a superior experience (on the return visit, it must be said). If I pay less, there is a noticeable reduction in the quality of experience, and if I pay more, there is not a noticeable increase in the quality of the experience. For some on this board, they pay very little, but all I read about their experience is that they fucked, with 6 pops, and 2-3 holes. Or whatever. But I don't know if that would work for me. All I can do is use my own experience, with some guidance from the posts here on ISG, to estimate what my investment is going to be. And one final point: I recognize that even though I am complicating the analysis just a little here, it is a horrible oversimplification. It's not the case that 2500 baht will always get you a great experience, nor that 800 baht will always get you a mechanical experience: each girl is different. But modulo that factor, I think we need to recognize that there are multiple markets in play here: low end, mid-level, high-end.

So yes, I confess, I spoiled the market. Perhaps I single-handedly fragmented the market into the multiple markets, who knows. I have tried paying less, and while that level of payment always results in ejaculate being extracted from my testicles, the mechanical nature of that experience is not what pleases me. I just don't get precisely the experience that I am seeking. I have tried it. And it does not work for me. It doesn't. It really doesn't. You can continue on and on about how I am spoiling the market, how dumb you think people like me are, etc. But the market is not my concern, nor how smart you think I am. My concern is what I get for my investment.

I figured this out based upon my own experience, as well as some guidelines from ISG. So I find all those Market Warriors who report on low prices very helpful. But the Market Evangelicals, well, not so much.

I too apologize for spoiling the market. If a beach road hottie ask for more than market but not outrageous- I pay. For gods sake its $10-$15 more. There's lots of money to be made just go out and make some guys!

Your post has nothing wrong and I agree with most of it, except that is totally irrilevant to the thread or better say "out of topic".

Discussion was not about treating thai women in a good / bad way, just do not overpay them.

Could you please stick to the topic? So you disagree with me with what? What did I say wich is untrue? Please enlighten me.

Actually thai women consider a "jai dee farang" (good heart foreigner) the one with big money willing to buy house, car and other things for the family. Doesn't matter if the guy was an ex thug, a bandit or has criminal records. Does he take care the family? He's good.

Here's my question: I am a newbie traveling to Thailand. My budget for a 1 week trip is 30,000 Baht. Where are the best hotels to stay in and where could one on this budget get the best bang for their buck? Now that would be some useful information and dam good report for newbies to read. I can make some suggestions but i think you are the man for the job. I look forward to your report with eager anticipation.

It is not because I had the good luck to have some spare money that allows me to travel a few times each year that I should look down upon the less fortunate people. They all deserve our respect. When I'm hungry I will appreciate the street food cook much more than the CEO of a global food company and when I'm horny, the Soi 6 sweetheart will be my favorite rather than the HiSo "old money" socialite.
