Monday through Thursday last week, there were a few working ladies around the park each night. Friday night, there were many, a majority were heifers but some slim and pretty. Saturday night, the area was packed, and I saw one lady who may have been working.

Just a quick question. Did you assume they were working girls because they were sitting around in groups of women and being friendly or were they very obviously working girls (scantly dressed)?

The places where the ladies were hanging out Friday night, had all guys Saturday night. Sunday night, it was raining most of the night, so not much activity at all.

I think the police are watching activities in the park itself, because all the ladies I saw were on the streets, either walking or sitting in front of closed businesses. I saw some couples in the park.

An honestly, I'm a little tired of the responses to the prank I pulled. The chica didn't give a shit. This morning she sent me some silly meme and asked if it would be my first visit to Colombia. She then proceeded to offer some advise on things to see in Medellin and Cartagena. No harm done. Really...

She told me to never believe these women, or assume that they are victims. "Parasitos" is the word she used.

I'm not saying the Venezuelan you meet in Cartagena is rich and doesn't need the money. I'm just saying the vast majority of the hot Colombian chicas you meet with plastic surgery and expensive purses are not starving. They supplement their income fucking foreign men. In North America these women would be models, tv presenters, or club promoters. In Colombia they engage in "la puteria. ".

I have been going to Medelland since 2012 and not once have I met a chica who was not dressed well and did not have a cell phone. Most of the chicas I have met hook to buy themselves expensive clothes, accessories, iPhones, etc. Some have day jobs and can only visit me during the late evening. Most are in school and can only visit me on days they do not have class or late afternoon (although I am sure there are plenty that will skip class in order to make some pesos). I have yet to meet any chica who looked to me as if she had just rolled out from under her cardboard box off the street before coming to visit me.

Maybe it just me, but I have never met an extremely poor chica who is able to afford a data plan to be able to communicate daily with extrajernos. I would imagine that the streetwalkers would be the ones considered the poorest of the p4p bunch and may have to do it (hook) because they may not have a choice, but I doubt they would have money to spend on things like data plans, smart phones, and Colombian Cupid when they have mouths to feed.

In regards to Medellin, I can say with extreme confidence that at least 98% of the chicas I met are hooking because:

-It's legal for them to do so, so why not?

I'm all for treating the girls as human beings because they are. However, I'm wouldn't say they don't have any choice. They could work a "normal job" and make a shit wage. Some girls choose the "easy" route of being a prepago, but plenty of poor girls don't. And I'm not necessarily blaming them. It might be a rational decision.

I don't think the OP was necessarily "playing on" poor desperate girls. I think it's more likely than he was just making a fool of himself and possibly putting himself at risk. A competing forum held a Halloween Party last night in the Poblado area. Lot of talent and eye candy, and some great sexy costumes.
