First Sir this is just my opinion about bar girls and tattoos. I do understand how some are for luck etc. But, you can usually tell how long a girl works by how many tattoos she has. Many of these girls go a little overboard with these tattoos. Maybe in western culture tattoo are style. But, in my opinion when I see a Thai girl covered in Thai tattoos to me it means she is a bar girl. I think many Thais would assume this also because many Thais not in the sex industry don't have these tattoos.

I myself don't see regular Thai women in public sporting visible tattoos like obvious bargirls and women in the red light areas of Thailand.

I agree that young BAR girls in particular are swayed to get lots of tattoos for the reasons I stated, in that world of theirs. But outside of the bargirl social circles, I don't tend to see much non bargirl Thai women having tattoos despite what some here say.

FYI, those pictures of the King are from May, and they show him with fake tattoos at the Munich airport runway. So those aren't even real tattoos.

And you say everybody has them (in Thailand), but outside of the bars and red light areas, I rarely see ordinary Thai women in public with any tattoos at least visible ones. I'm wondering what you base this on.

American culture is not Thai culture, and there's absolutely no way tattoos in general are 'acceptable' in normal Thai society as it is in American society (but even at that, there is still a bias against tattoos in many parts of American society). TEFL teachers in Thailand are in fact advised to cover up their tattoos.

I post this for two reason. First, to get recommendations, insights, general thoughts and secondly for the brand new folks on how one monger's thought process works. I am by no means a vet and frankly I haven't mongered in over ten years. Still, I enjoy reading these types of reports (or lack thereof) so I hoped someone might see some value in this long-winded ramble of thoughts.

First off I'the like to thank: Banana Boi, Mr. Enternational, Kumbu, FLHawk, Wolvenvacht, Haven123, Gin and Tonic, and many others for all the reports and information. The information on ISG will be invaluable during my trip. I intend to do my part and report during and certainly after my trip.

As mentioned, I'm planning my third trip to LOS for this February. I haven't been in 12 years. I have my flight and hotel booked. I'm staying in Central Pattaya at a nice boutique 4 star. In my two prior trips I stayed in North Pattaya at Greenpark resort. I considered that place this time, but decided I wanted a different locale. I do love the pool at Greenpark. If you haven't seen it just google image search Greenpark Resort Pattaya. Anyway, the place I'm staying at has a small pool so if I want to take a soak, there should be no problems. The location where I'm staying seems decent. I did want something a little quieter, less traffic around, blah blah blah.

I arrive at BKK on a Sunday at about 4 pm. I planned on taking VR Taxi Private Service. From what I've read on here (and I confirmed on their website) it is 1000 be from BKK to Pattaya. If anyone has any other recommendations on transportation to and from Patts, I'm all ears. I'm looking for dependability and comfort above saving 100 or 200 be.

I'll be in Pattaya for 7 days and 6 nights. I know, not very long, especially considering I'm flying in from the US (West Coast). However, I haven't had a real vacation in years. So, I thought eff it; Take a trip somewhere where I can kick back a few days, while also having easy, inexpensive and safe access to pussy. Having been to Pattaya twice before, it was the first place I considered. On the other hand, I had been there and done that so I strongly considered Brazil or Colombia. I've never been to South America so that appealed to me. Being able to check another continent off the list, and all that would have been cool too. And not to mention, South American women are fine as hell and from what I've read here (and other places) a mongerer can have a hell of a time down there. Alas I chose LOS and I'm very excited to be returning. I'm 37 and an optimist so I'm confident I have time over the next few years to make my way down to South America and partake in some fun that it has to offer.

Another reason I chose LOS is because it has been 12 years since I've mongered and I know it. Simply put, it is familiar. Early in 2016 I ended an 11 year relationship. So, in the last 11 years, outside of 5 or 6 trips to a rub and tug over that time, it was the same old same old. So, knowing Pattaya (although it has been over a decade) I felt this would be a good place to get back in the mongering game, even if I can only stay for about a week.

I feel I have a good idea of what to expect with the P4 P scene in Pattaya. I. e. , GoGo bar fines and ST vs LT, the Beach Road FL Scene, Soi 6 onsight BF and ST, etc. I've RTFF a lot over the last few weeks (I went back about 175 pages to Feb 2016 to get an idea of how things are the time of year I'll be there) and I'll continue to read so as to ensure I'm aware of trends, changes, etc. One thing I'm excited about is the discos. When I was last in Pattaya (2005), I didn't do much research and mainly hung out at the beer bars. I hit a couple BJ bars, but frankly I was not focused as much on how hot the girls were. I would get a beer buzz going and by 11 pm, I'the be pretty drunk and tired so I'the just bar fine a girl, take her to my room and knock it out. It was great, don't get me wrong, but most of the mornings I would wake up and look at my date, and think: "Damn, this girl is a little busted, and I thought she was so cute last night" LOL Typically, in that state of mind, I focus more on the body and attitude. One question I had was around the mention of how the way you dress and look in general (I assume smell, groomed etc. Applies) can dictate how much success you can have with the FLs in some of the discus / clubs. I feel I should do pretty well. I don't mean to sound conceited but like I mentioned, I'm 37, clean cut white male. 6 ft tall about 200 lbs. I'm not jacked or anything but you tell I lift and run and take pretty good care of myself. However, my question is around dress at the discos / clubs. Should I plan on packing designer jeans and / or slacks, dress shoes and button down shirts? Like the stuff I would wear to a club in the US? While on vacation, especially in a place like Pattaya, I like to where a polo or nice t-shirt, some khaki shorts, and some nice sneakers or flip flops. Any insight would be helpful on optimizing my opportunities to pull some hotties from the discos / clubs.

My preliminary thoughts on how I'll spend my time are as follows. I'm open to suggestions from Vets on how you'the use your time. I really want to make the most of my 6 nights.

I'm budgeting about $2,000 USD for mongering activities alone. I'll have another set of funds set aside for food, drinks, a little shopping, local transportation, any tours, etc. Also, if you guys have any recommendations on traditional touristy stuff to do I'the love to see it. I intend to do some research, but I haven't as of yet.

I kind of envision my days like this:

Wake up sometime between 1 pm and 3 pm with the girl I pulled from iBAR / Insomnia the night before. Hit it again when we wake, then pay her to leave. "........".............

I assume you will not be looking for the GO GO girls or Soi 6 girls who show up there. Most of those will only want ST and will IMO not be worth it. If you like Soi 6 , get the girl there rather than at Insomnia. IMO, girls over 30 usually are very experienced and generally will have had too many bad experiences in the past with Thai guys and farang guys. So they tend to be very businesslike.

FYI, it has been 7 months since I have been to Pattaya, so keep that in mind. I will be there again in Jan and Feb for 5 weeks, so I will update the scene in mid to late Jan. From what I am seeing in the visitor posts on Insomnia page, it seems like a heck of lot of Soi 6 girls come to party at Insomnia after 130 am. It seems that many girls now are chastened by asshole farangs who give them the impression that they love them or want a LT relationship with them. PLease don't do that! Most western guys BS a lot and are MFing assholes IMO, so don't be one!

If you are and want to be a butterfly, make sure they understand that upfront and keep it that way. You are there for just 1 week, so trial and error leads to learning. You will do great IMO. Although that depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for top looks 9/10, then go to the top go gos. If you want quick ST, then Soi 6 is your option, IMO. (I never saw a single BR girl on my last trip that I liked). Plus I prefer a different setting and ambiance to get to know a girl first. I am a quick study and my MO is different as I am looking for 3-4 day type of deals. Where I hang with them mostly 24*7 and go shoppIng, restaurants etc. I keep expectations low and after the first night if I like them then they will have the option to stay. If things go well, I usually pay up to 2 times what I agreed to (I don't do ST at all. 0 %), except for massage girls who agree to come to my apt for a legit massage with extras and who want to return at night for LT. Maybe I am being misunderstood when I used the word legit. What I meant is there are extras in the shop, not whether the massage was good or not. The very shops you mentioned above with white shirts and red pants do provide extras, at least to me. Not sure if because I am known to all the ladies there since I flirt with them almost daily as I walk by. Downstairs seems on the up and up but upstairs oil massage is another story.

After that, I'll either go for a nap or perhaps hit up Soi 6 as I've read the late afternoon time frame can lead to good pickings. A couple other questions: I had planned on bringing quite a bit of US cash, then exchanging it to Bhat at one of the many money changes on beach road (so I've read). I've read some of you guys have totally separate accounts and credit cards / ATM cards. Why is that? I don't have to hide anything from a SO. Is that the rationale? Obviously, fraud is a concern so I'm curious, if I should open another separate checking account? I do have a separate credit card that I use to buy a subscription to places like ISG. I'the really like to keep the cash withdrawals to a minimum. Mainly because of the fees my bank and the ATMS charge. I've read about the Schuab card, but I haven't really researched it yet. Do you deposit money on that card then access it via ATM with no / minimal fees?

Regarding cell phone use. I've seen guys mentioning buying a sim card with a data plan at the airport and using that on their phone. My issue is that my phone is not unlocked, but my carrier does offer a data and voice plan for Thailand. What are your guys' thoughts? I don't really plan on doing much online stuff, like Tender or Thaicupid, mainly because I'm only there 7 days and I've read that can take a little time to farm. I've had success in the US meeting girls on Tinder so I wonder if that's another avenue to explore. My hotel has wireless internet and what not. I mean, I'll need my phone while out so I can access google maps or a translating app, or whatever. I'm trying to decide the best way to go about it.

For expensive places such as Dusit you are merely paying for ambiance. The actual massage is not really different from any other licensed one.

True. As someone who has had the Spa massage at the Dusit in Pattaya, I can vouch for the ambiance. The oil based incense type fragrance that burns over a lit lamp is IMO simply heavenly and mesmerizing. I bought a few of the vials to take back from their Spa and enjoyed it greatly every time back home, particularly in the winter.

So, yes you are paying for the ambiance and they also surely take into account that mostly expensive dicks stay there, so prices are " Spa " prices for expensive dicks.

Alas, I have now graduated and am no longer an expensive dick when I visit Pats.

Most massage places are legit. You are not going to walk into O-ring or Savannah and be able to stick your dick into a worker there and their massages are 10 times under 4000 baht. Also are you not considering the huge, low budget places that bus loads of Chinese on package tours go to as legit? For expensive places such as Dusit you are merely paying for ambiance. The actual massage is not really different from any other licensed one.

A lot of Thai women under 35 who are not bar girls have tattoos that are not the luck kind. I think it may be that when they are dressed the tattoos may be covered, whereas you may notice it more on a hooker because many times they walk around half dressed. Bro tattoos are the style all over the planet now.

No. But I think you are assuming that the owner does not get a cut of the 1000 you pay for sex while I am assuming they do. Take Loleetas (wtf the correct spelling is a prohibited word on ISG) for instance. You pay 700 and there are no other fees. Surely the entire 700 does not belong to the girl. Take a soapy for another instance. You know the entire 1800 is not going to the girl. Places that charge a bar fine or room fee, are we really even sure that the entire portion of the other money goes to the girl?

Now that I damn think about it, a board member introduced me to a friend of his who opened one of those places. Wanting to be a good guy I went ahead and asked for a massage. I had no fucking idea it was a jack shack until the massage started and I realized the girl had no idea what she was doing. There is no way that she had even attended the first day of anybody's massage school.

So I fucked the chick (had no idea what she was doing along those lines either), handed her 1000 baht (didn't get a price nor negotiate it beforehand wanting the other bm to look good - and remember that if I happen to get FS with a chick in a normal massage shop then I only pay 500 for the FS portion), and walked back outside of the shop where him and the owner were. So with the 1000 that I handed over, I was not asked to pay an additional "massage fee."

Every time I ride by the shop the owner stops me, asks about the board member (who she does talk to every now and then), and asks me to check out the girls and bring friends by. Again, in a legit massage place I do pay the 150 baht for the massage and the 500 for FS, but on Soi Chaiyapoom no way - 1000 baht (if not less) all-in should get any monger taken care of.

Are you saying that the owner of the shop should just allow the girls to use their shop for free and not collect 200-300 door fee? I agree with you that when I see a hot massage girl I make arrangements for her come over on her day off. No 200-300 extra charge and most come over for 1000 including massage, if wanted, and boom boom.

I recently had a great massage from one of these non massage places on Central Avenue. Better than the top end Health Land massage I paid 990 baht for.

You are missing the point of the post. The point of the post is that some massage places are not massage places. They are brothels which I am sure you know. You have a list of different massages to get. Lets say you can pay for the 200 Thai massage or the 300 oil massage. The smart guy will pay the 200 as he walks past the 5 thinly dressed girls into the shop. Because he knows he is not getting a massage. You then criticize the guy buy saying should the house not charge money and work for fee as you yourself cut the shop out of making money by cutting a side deal with the girl. No-one is saying the house should not make money. What we are saying is take the lowest price massage because you are not getting a massage.
