I suggest that instead of going directly to Camiguin, you stop for an overnight in CDO and see if you and the lady hit it off. If you do, then you can take her with you from CDO to Camiguin, which is an interesting trip in itself and not at all dangerous. The diving off Camiguin is interesting; make sure you take at least one dive into the "forest" of black corals. It's a fairly shallow dive with some beautiful, and unusual coral formations. Camiguin itself is lovely but relatively boring. I suggest as well that you take a few meals at Casa Roca Inn, run by a Filipina-Canadian couple. It's good fun, and it's got the best food I've found on the island.

I will be arriving in Cdo around lunch time and heading to Camiguin the following day. My plans were to meet her for a late lunch and see how things go. If it doesn't work out then I take Amanut's suggestion of work emergency, and then maybe track down one of these girly bars I've read so much about, hope they're still there, and see if there's anyone I like to take with me.

And on top of that, as well as this being a diving holiday I'd like it to be a bit of a sex holiday too, and have no idea if she's going to put out or not.

We found an oasis of this type on Biliran, just outside Naval. Its called Maylaka, hosted by a Flemishman. About the only clientele (to this point, as its kinda new) are foreigners back to visit their wife mates' home province.

Amanut is right. You should clarify at least your nawty expectation. You don't want to get to Cumigan with her on your first night only to discover she is shocked when you try to kiss her. Flying thousands of miles for a cock-block ain't good.

If it all looks promising then go ahead and meet and spend a couple days and nights together in Cagayan de Oro before departing for Camiguin. If the meeting is not living up to either of your expectations take a call recalling you for work unexpectedly in Manila.

It's a private and elegant luxury resort, located in Baclayon (near Tagbilaran) atop a small mountain overlooking the sea. Set up by an illustrious German restaurateur from Manila, Peacock Garden is more like a large and sprawling chateau. Impressive grounds, especially at the large gated entrance, and, in the rear garden area, overlooking the sea below, a large and immaculate infinity pool which we had to ourselves.

Delightful breakfasts, homemade specialty ice cream, and tasty dinners at reasonable prices. Underground "wine cellar" area, next to a small private underground karaoke area (no sound leaking through to the ground floor). Outdoor recreation and game area, and small exercise room inside the spa building.

The main entry building, including small private bar and dining room, is full of memorabilia, decor, and furniture from old Heidelberg, particularly dueling sabers and Heidelberg University dueling club memorabilia. Also on display is a set of elegant vintage furniture reportedly used by Jose Rizal during his stay in Germany, with a certificate of authenticity.

Well-trained staff, quiet elegance, incomparable ambiance, and all at reasonable prices (off-season, under P7,000 per night all in, breakfast included). We stayed in a comfortable second floor deluxe sea view room, and enjoyed morning coffee on our balcony overlooking the rear garden, infinity pool, descending mountainside, and view of the ocean below.

Not for loud night life, this is a delightfully secluded and elegant spot for relaxed and quiet enjoyment of life, and recharging life's batteries.

Posted in this thread because this happened outside Manila / Cebu / Davao. I typed this some months ago and saved it, then I think I forgot to post it. Apologize if I posted this preggers piece before (did a search, did not find it):

Related preggers story about one of the PG preggerz I've posted (I've been lucky enough to have had several pairs of different preggies). Brought in 2 gals from an outlying province. One of them, "X", was pregnant, "V" was not. Have had both girls independently previously (and you've seen them individually in the PG). Had never seen X drink alcohol before. We went out one night to several bars, had dinner, passed the microphone around to sing, watched live band. V and myself had beers, X had soft drinks. At the last place we visited I ordered an appetizer to go. We got back to the hotel and I tossed the appetizer into the fridge, thinking X would eat it in the night. In the fridge were the appetizer, a bottle of water, and a large unopened Red Horse beer. When I woke around 5:30 am the girls were snoozing away. I tossed on shorts and shirt to go out for a morning walk. I grabbed the bottled water from the fridge to take with me. I noticed that the food from last night was gone; the take-out cellophane was in the trash can. Probably X had eaten it in the night.

When I returned from my walk and entered the room, V was sleeping, and X was awake and naked, sitting cross-legged on the floor, with the Red Horse tipped up to her lips and drinking it down. The morning light was coming in the room, and you can't miss a naked girl on the floor, cross-legged, 8-9 months pregnant (silhouette looks a bit like somebody strapped a bowling ball on her tiny / skinny frame), tipping up a large bottle. She stopped for a moment when I came in, looked right at me, turned the bottle bottom-down (I could hear the carbonated fizzzzzzz), and belched. She turned it bottoms-up again and started to take long, slow, loud gulps. GULP. . . GULP. . . GULP. . . GULP. . . A whopping 20 seconds, until it was all gone, never breaking stride.

Side note: Once again, you see odd things, routinely, in phils. If someone had told you previously that someday a young, naked, very pregnant girl would be on your floor downing beer at sunup, you would have said: "Nah, that's too strange". But remember where you are.

She put the bottle on top of the fridge and said: "I hungry". Then she belched again. So you drank the beer? "Yes. I hungry. Beer only thing in fridge". Did you eat the sisig? "Yes in the night. I was hungry that time also". You know you shouldn't drink alcohol while pregnant? "Oh? Really?" Criminy! There is a convenience store one block up, would you like to go get some noodles with me? "Yes"!

She dressed and we slipped out while V slept. It was about 6:15 am, and both vehicle and foot traffic (almost non-existant 15 minutes prior) had picked up on the sidewalks, folks going to school or work. We grabbed her some noodles and other items at the store (diaperz; she wanted diaperz for her youngest, she had to stand there and compare 2 different brands at the convenience store for a solid 5 minutes -- I hate it when women comparison shop) and were walking back to the hotel. We were just a few meters from the hotel door when suddenly she giggled and dropped the bag with the food on the sidewalk and started to laugh, fairly hard. "Haaaaaahahahaaaaa! Whaaa hahahahaha"! Whats up sweetie? "Oh sh*t I think that I am DRUNK! Hahahahaha". Cr*p, even pregnant she only weighs 100 lbs, and the Red Horse was kicking in. Locals and the hotel security guy stopped to stare. Yes, your thinking is spot on: When a gringo has a 20-YO pregnant beauty *drunk*, loud, and dropping things in the street at 6:15 am, that looks GREAT! Come on sweetie, letssssssssss get you inside the hotel.

The preggers thing. Really great. And scary. If you're lucky enough to be in a situation where a girl keeps coming back both during and between her pregnancies, you should be prepared for some occasional odd sh*t happening. Alternately: YMMV!

Almost all the units are booked by long-term guests, but they keep a few reserved for short-term stays; I think the minimum is 6 days. It's near station 3.
