Okay first let me point out I am a veteran monger of 24 years in Costa Rica and I have a super high batting average. Probably have had 50% GREAT experiences at the Del Rey and Zona and 46% Good or better, and only 4% bad, maybe 100 chicks total so about 4 bad in 24 years. Not really a bad average. But this trip my average was lowered a bit.

Quite a few more fat and / or ugly chicks there than I've EVER seen before though, in my 25 years of mongering there and / or at Key Largo (back in the day KL was the main event! The KL was deader than I've ever seen it on these 2 nights! Like a ghost town. Maybe because of the insanely over modulated music in 2 rooms and so no place you can actually have a conversation or not get a headache.).

The 2nd night we ate at Sportsman's again and again there was a higher percentage of hot chicks there than I've ever seen before there. Maybe 3-4 I would have done if I'd been staying there and had it been later. Hope this trend keeps up. If it does I might have to try staying there some time.

We then went to the Del Rey and there were more girls than on Friday, maybe 85-100 but that's just an educated guess. I didn't count them.

But man! I've NEVER seen so many fat chicks! I mean so fat that I'm like "WHO is effing these girls? Yikes! Are there that many "chubby chasers" that these girls can make a living at the DR?? My friend and I were both amazed at this. And then there were quite a few just plain fugly chicks too. Worst percentage of these fat / fugly chicks I've EVER seen there in 25 years, without doubt!

That said, I nevertheless found more good looking chicks too as the night wore on. After I went with my little girl next door around 10 pm I just came back and observed and drank. Could easily have found a 2nd girl. Even better looking. If I'd been up for it. So while there was a higher percentage of fatties / fuglies, there was also a good percentage of hot babes.

That's it. My take is that the Del Rey isn't that much different than it has been in the past 25 years! More fatties that night, yes, but overall it's about the same percentage of hotties. The real cream of the crop are always a small percentage.

I'll go back next month but after last Friday's experience I will NEVER pay up front again and at the first sign of a girl who is out to con me, I'll kick her right out and go back for another! I just let my judgment get clouded by my little head because that little spinner was so effing cute that first night. It was my first time ever being so negligent and it won't happen again. My overall percentage is still at around 93% good / great experiences at the Del Rey so okay, anyone can screw up once in a while.

As for Zona, sorry but so far I'm not impressed. Seems much like it was with the last owners. Whoever hired the girls back about 15 years ago really knew how to hire them and train them. For airbnb, I thought about bringing girls back and I was never told not to but honestly I felt bad and there was no need. I was going to meet with one of girls but we were going to head to a short time motel but she couldn't make it last minute.
