Technical my layover is 11 hours and 15 minutes however the 8 hours=out of airport time. I'm old and don't relish two consecutive nights without a bed. I'm arriving on United Terminal 1 and departing China Air which I believe is Terminal 1 as well. I got a week of shit work in HKG and Shenzhen which are IMHO useless venues and I've been in the GWL far too long. I do have a week of I&I scheduled on the return in AC, thank you God. I'm ignorant of anything Manila and NAIA Airport and appreciate all support.

When you go to air force one, tell them you want the room for a few extra hours to sleep. Their rooms are like hotel rooms. You can f a girl, then take a shower and sleep in the room. It might cost you a few extra P, but who cares. It sounds like you only need a few extra hours. They have a bar in the place, and can order in food. Much easier than checking into a hotel. Will be a fun time.

There are a ton of airbnb condo units near the airport. Here is one:

That boasts "Studio Across the Airport T3", and is $30/ night. Easy to book, use, and walk away from. The airbnb map shows it about 1/4 mile from the airport. There are a bunch like this.

I guess it depends what terminal you're going through but I guess the closest hotels are the ones in Resorts World (all in front of terminal 2).

Usually when I have a short layover in MNL (3-6 hrs) I head to AF1 (Flight168) for a quickie, usually 1. 5 hours should be enough in the venue. The rest of the time is usually slent on commute and food. Can't see how an 8 HR layover that includes a session also requires a hotel room, but to each his own, I guess.

I guess it depends what terminal you're going through but I guess the closest hotels are the ones in Resorts World (all in front of terminal 2).

That's my MO too. It's a crazy habit that all filipinos always ask first if they can ask you a question, and it's not always about money.

The last time this happened I said "Yes as long as you don't ask me for money" and she laughed and said "Oh No I just wondered if you'd mind if I asked what is your job?

I would reply giving marital status, age of kids (all bogus of course) and they would all reply " how did you know I was going to ask that ".

Be aware mostly the pinays are answering or texting "how are you", "have you eaten already", "did you have lunch" as in short nonsense texts. If the msg contains more than 10 words better start pay attention as a problem aka hidden moneyrequest is on the rise.

Found myself alone in a hotel in Pasay recently, so of course I hit up Badoo and starting inviting girls over. A few flakey responses, one early 20-something with great tits stopped responding, then found myself an early 30-something cutie who was close by and agreed to come over. She turned out to be a real sweetie, I caught her on her day off work and ended up spending the day with her.
