I'm planning my 3rd trip to LOS within a couple of weeks. I usually try to spend around 5 nights in Pattaya and 2 nights in Bangkok. During my last two trips I had a great time at Climax. I haven't had a chance to check out other places than Thermae. I didn't have much luck at Thermae as I am brown skinned and usually mistaken for Indian or a darker skinned Thai.

Yep! When trying to put Thai names into English, all sorts of spellings are possible, and some can be misleading. Some can be just typos.

Saphan Khwai means Buffalo Bridge. Sounds like Sa-parn.

Strangely although accurate vowel sounds is not important in English speaking (every country pronounces differently), it is far more important in Thai.

If we say "River Khwai" or "River Kwai" to Thai people they are unlikely to understand. In Thai, it is actually called the River Khwae (sounds like Quair). This time nothing to do with Khwai (buffaloes) at all. If look on Google Maps can actually see the rivers Khwae Yai and Khwae Noi, the big and small tributaries.

The girl I did last night spells her name Aum. That is misleading for me. I spell it Oom as it rhymes with Boom-Boom, that lovely bargirls euphemism for fucking. Oom really likes a good Boom-Boom.

It's also an issue of wanting something for the sake of it. You don't throw a sharp edge onto something soft and / or delicate.
