When will premium service be offered again?

No one seems to answer emails either.

Premium services will be up again before the end of this month. We had some problems with our original payment processors, which meant a lot of payment requests were getting rejected, inparticular US cards. They then changed their API and that caused our payments to be down for an unaccpetable amount of time, so we used that time to move and re-register our company incompliance with the bigger payment providers.

We are now working with a new payment processor and should have the payments up before the end of this month, with the addition of a bitcoin option for those looking for extra anonymity.

We aren't following this forum very closely now, so excuse us if we don't reply quickly. It's much better to email us directly if you have any issues you require us to reply to. We do try to answer all emails within 24 hours and reply to every one (I have checked our emails and there are no unanswered emails in our account. Please email us again if your queries was not answered).

I found the standard site useful and used it 3 times 6 months ago and am very happy to utilise the premium services. But it is still not open. It is taking forever. When will it be ready?

That sure is a lot to read through. Premium membership or not you should be straight with everyone that you do business with. Eventually you'll be reading a review by a senior member (not me) and you'll either have positive feedback or will be doing some serious damage control. It will happen eventually.

Without going in to detail on how we got started and ended up in this industry, I can say that there was a lot of debate on how we monetize this site / idea in a way we had the correct motivations: the ability to be able to generate funds and remain motivated to create a platform which helps the genuine clients and rewards the honest escorts / agencies, and generally does something positive in the industry.

We are not the first to try bridge the gap between directory and agency, but the other major projects we have seen which have done this have had their earnings connect to the actual cost and number of bookings. This ultimately leaves them motivated to work in favour of the big agencies and be focussed on figures rather than the people and expereince. We feel we have found a way to avoid that motivation and build a platform which can be positive and do good things, while also generating some income as a business.

Regarding the current premium memberships (albeit that they are currently not active), we strongly beleive the premium memberships offer very good value to genuine users. The savings some users are making on 1 single booking is greater than the value of some of our membership costs, and baring in mind our only income is our premium membership payments, those who don't want to purchase a membership are still able to use our site and take advantage of our live directory and instant boking system (I don't think there is anything similar available in Bangkok which offers a live search api and instant, automated booking system, certainly not for free).

We knew whichever way we approached it we wouldn't be able to please everyone, but we are very happy with the current set up and balance we have. We are also the first to admit that we are still young in the industry and it's not a perfect system. We are very open to positive change, taking on board feedback and analysing the market and product as we go along.

We do have a lot of supporters who we are extremely grateful for, but to those who aren't sure about Smooci, or simply don't agree with what we are doing, we ask that you give us a little more time before making a strong judgement; we have a lot of positive things going on behind the scenes, and there are some major parts of this project which haven't launched yet, and which we are very excited about. Expect to see some big, positive steps forward before the end of the year.
