Can fellow mongers confirm if bodi is no more? A buddy who recently went there based on my direction said that the entire building is gone. Not sure if he just went to the wrong place, how about siyuan across from yaohan?

I'm heading there in a few weeks and probably good time to read up on the other options.

Back to Sh in a few days, do you know of any other street with similar bars in Jing An? I prefer relaxed places with chitchatting rather than Manhattan / Judys style.

Anyway names for saunas are pointless these days since they change as often as a new ad gets posted.

Regarding WC numbers its frequent overtime when manager have been added by too many people that new people have trouble adding them as friends (and they wont notice it).
You should try the phone number or QQ numbers I gave instead.

You can also go on the chinese sites directly (ie: 11shlf.com) and follow the listed saunas.

Girls bars opposite side of the Hilton are not available anymore. I think this kind of bars are hard to find nowadays.

Can confirm Huashan Lu is what you are looking for. Been to Countryroad bar a few times this autumn. Girls are friendly and most speak good English and they can be a lot of fun. There is an outside seating area as well though this time of year it will be a little cold!

Can't answer the question on the Pudong Ave area, but for other girl-bars I think what you are looking for is on Huashan Lu. There are a dozen or so of these bars (where you buy drinks, flirt, can take them out, etc.) all right next to each other and directly across from the Hilton Shanghai in the Jing'an District. Unlike Manhattan / Judy's that have Vietnamese girls, these bars have Chinese girls and you probably want to have some basic knowledge of Mandarin. If you just walk down the sidewalk, the bar managers will often beckon you inside.

Do a quick Google search on the bar reviews and best practices of going to this strip as some have a reputation of being more likely to scam you than others.

Close to the station "Pudong avenue", I think on Changyi Rd, there were plenty of bars about a year ago. All had girls working in them where you had to buy lady-drinks for some talking and teasing in the bar. But some girls were nice and fun and it was definitely possible to negotiate to meet outside bar-hours as well. Does anyone know if these places still are open? Is it common with places like this in rest of Shanghai? Or China? A lady-drink was about 50-100 RMB I think.

I have been looking for a place where I can get a reasonably good oil massage, a bit of tease, and a handy. I have not figured out how to get this consistently yet.

As far as I can see there are primarily two different types of massage joints.

The Veggie / Legit Massage Locations: Woman dressed in unsexy uniforms and working to give a good professional oil massage with no signs of more. Prices can range from 170 RMB for 90 minutes to 300+.

The Jerk Shacks: Woman at the entrance in skirts with stockings. They get you upstairs at 298 RMB for a "1 hour", let you change into the blue paper shorts, start with a bit of an oil massage / tease for maybe 3 minutes and then begin the negotiation. I generally do not like these types of places so I haven't bothered to get a good idea of what is available and for how much.

On this side of the river these massage joints are still affected by the crackdown. Some of the places that were closed down have opened over the last month or two and some remained closed..

I continue to have good luck with the Zhonghua sauna mentioned in earlier posts.

It's now been in operation 2+ months, so it's raising out of the ashes of the most recent crackdown. Not cheap and not the most luxurious facility. However, great location near the Bund and girls solid 7-9. I paid 1,700 today for a very hot 22 year old.

I'll gradually venture into some of the newly opened saunas as I see favorable reports in Chinese as well as this site.

Please could you share he details?
