I took a impulsive trip to Batam long overdue. Stay near the centre of anyone want to explore together let me know. I plan to hit up Gold Bird KTV but Wechat is flooded with girls and thank god for video chat so I don't know if I will make it that far!

First impression affordable and convenient. Think this is not my last time here. Will report on the girls!

Finally back home from my first trip to Batam. Due to limited options for hotels going on a long weekend impulsively I booked a stay at Batam Star hotel. The star should be removed from that name! The room was OK-ish but had the pleasure of killing three cockroaches and had a techno (suspect I could add fuck / drug to that sentence) party few doors away. Location wise it was good do LOL.

I checked out Gold Bird KTV and there is some Chinese writing outside but while visiting I understood the name is "Sedona". First time I checked it out no girls was still working around midnight so I returned earlier next day and didn't get any vibe but spotted 1-2 lookers.

So what did I do in Batam? I met two girls through Wechat (Yes the video chat requirement helped a lot) one for ST and another for massage with extras. Nothing extraordinary to say about that but had fun and damages 400-500 k. That is also what I paid Dragon Den? Massage that I stumbled upon with a help from a ojek and had a decent session with a 20 year old. I almost opted for a normal massage with a really beautiful girl through Wechat but time was a factor in play with my boat back so went to the larger one opposite Formosa which wasn't bad but I will most likely try other normal joints.

I checked out Noname but Friday was really bad day and Saturday despite a good live band on stage did not really have a good atmosphere. They charged me 60-70 k for a coke so better go for the beer I think it's almost the same!? I did also go to Square Club and mingled with some local girls but yeah unless one in the crowd speaks English it gets tricky but was nice and I think I might hit it up again and try my luck without p2 p. The place is a bit pricey but 100 k+ for a drink is not to bad but I reckon some prefer to spend it on other activities. ! I of course spent some time in Nagoya area and visited a lot of the places behind Harmoni from the main road and met some nice people all over. That said I didn't remotely have enough time to check it all out and still enjoy myself with some chitchats and drinks. The area isn't really big so don't be surprised to run into the same people do.

I will most likely return for a visit in the future since it's so convenient for me and affordable to go out have drinks and good food both local and fusion with western.

Some of the bad is that ojeks would hassle me for 3-12 blocks and one persistent guy was screaming "WE GO TOGETHER. I WORK HERE" and is the first time in Asia for a very long time I almost lost it. That said I never felt unsafe but man Batam Centre is a dirty dirty place. Yes there is a lot of girls but what I mean the streets, alleys and so on is filled with rubbish, rats and cockroaches. Next time over I will most likely rent a motorcycle and go explore more of the city but also the island.

I stayed in Formosa. I didn't like the hotel but location was good.

Besides the location, I elected Formosa as my home in Batam for a few more reasons:

1) Quality / price ratio (there is a Membership Card which entitles a reduced price, besides free nights after a while, and further negligible discounts on the order of 10 k for massage, drinks, etc, which I really do not care about).
2) Staff which I trust 101% (but most of my old staff at reception left since a few years already).
3) Room size.
4) BED SIZE: yes, not everywhere I can sleep in a triple size bed, where 3 persons can sleep in full comfort (I will not elaborate further why this is a strict requirement for me*).
* No, it's not because I am that fat LOL.

BP,I don't qualify to give advice on Batam. I was in Singapore for business and I escaped for two nights without any pre-planning. Just skimmed the reports here, mostly yours, and pulled the trigger.

Trust me, you did, saw and achieved A LOT, to be there for the first time and for only two days. There's a whole iceberg to discover, under the surface you scratched, but you did much more than many who go there a few times.

The girls in Formosa. I have the same feeling at times LOL: FROM WHERE do they take them?? The answer is: from various massage and KTV places. You must recce 5 or 10 places, and take the only girl you like. But you need to visit many places, to find those gorgeous ones. BTW, I am not sure the most beautiful ones are those who you are happy to stay with. Dead fish rule.

I know the Wechat girl, because I chatted with her after having found her on "people nearby", but I never met her. Just some chatting. My feeling was that she was one not very pretty but hot and trustable. I see you confirmed my feeling. Good for you and for her. Any better photos?

I stayed in Formosa. I didn't like the hotel but location was good. There is a shopping mall, many restaurants and lots of family massage options in is vicinity. In Formosa, I saw lots of working girls in the hallway and lift on their way to their clients. Some of them were drop dead gorgeous whereas others were monkeys. I have no clue from where one can order these hotties. But they exist.

Of the three photos, two belong to the same girl from Golden Bird. I believe the KTV where I picked that girl is called Golden Bird. I say I believe because there was no sign outside. I just followed directions I found online. It was on the opposite side of the main street passing in front of Harmoni Hotel, behind Batam Star hotel in a street corner. Permata Indah, another recommended KTV, was either shut down or I failed to find it. I didn't like the girls in JV Happy 8, another KTV, but it was quite late when I got there.

The other girl was from WeChat. She was clean, enjoyed sex and she was very loud and wet. However, she was a mother of one and it showed. If I saw her in a fish bowl I would not have picked her. But I was so horny and already had returned two girls from WeChat so I kept her. I paid 500 K and sent her away after one shot. The KTV girl was 19 years old, very tight and quite attractive. But as you also mentioned in your reports, the full language barrier was unbearable and I sent her away after three shots. I paid 1 M to the hustler.

As far I am concerned Batam is great for a long weekend if you happen to be in Singapore. Girls are relatively less pro than in Thailand. Otherwise, it didn't seem to be an interesting place but I have to remind that I could discover only so much in two days. I've spent only 2 nights there which obviously not enough to understand the landscape in detail but here are my 2 rupees as a first timer to give back to the forum.

Batam is not ideal place for sex-tourism for its own sake but its proximity to Singapore changes the whole equation.

Felt safe, not as safe in Thailand, but still safe.

Pussy is cheap. Pricing very similar to Thailand. Merchandise seemed better than what's available these days for farangs in Thailand, which is my benchmark for the region. I replied by PM. I do not feel comfortable to recommend a place to people here, because everyone has its wishes and desiderata.

I stay at Formosa, the best 3 starts in my honest opinion, but others will prefer to have some more comfort or luxury.

I would simply recommend to go check a booking or trip advisor site, check ratings in Nagoya, and pick the one you think suits better to you.

There are many good accommodations, and for prices on the order of 1/3 vs. Same type or room in Singapore.

I brought even a group of 3 girls to my room and more than once. One time, a couple: lady with hijab and husband (we had a Coca Cola, just chatting). Another time, a family with little kid (don't think anything wrong: again, just chatting with local people). Another time, a lady with hijab (this time, it was a memorable sex time: duly reported here on ISG). Staff would never question about my guests. They always say hello to me calling me by name. My experience in Batam was amazing.

We were a group of 4 friends, on a hunting night in Batam. One of our friend local in Batam & frequent to many massage parlors. He asked us whether we want to go to best place.

I suggested 2nd best actually, he was surprised, but understood what I meant. (it would be slightly cheaper but with similar level of services).

We had our dinner first & drove to this place. A very well managed on the 1st floor of the bldg. As we were four, our other friend suggested to take a discount, which our local frnd said they would not accept.

We said try still & hurray! We got 20% off on the rates with spa & massage. High in mood we went inside, took a shower, then a sauna & steam bath. We gave our selection & waited outside for our turns.

15 min later our turn came.

We went inside respective chambers, as I was getting undressed, the female was surprised to see the size. She was about to faint, she said, they only has small in here.

I said its a normal avg size for us.

Grt massage with super level of service, no FS. But, HJ was worth it.

Only -ve was absolute no english, just a few words.

I also gave a small msg to her in between for 10 min. She liked it.

So finally price was like IDR 150,000 & tips.

Female- 7/10.

Service- 7/10.
