To me, sugar baby websites (there are two big websites in Romania) are scams because it is like paying escorts much more than what they are worth. Those girls want long term relationship and you quickly spend more money than numerous beautiful escorts. Going to a massage parlor would be much cheaper and less demanding than hiring a sugar baby.

From what I have heard, there is a new generation of Romanian women who ask you for money upfront in nightclub. They don't tell you that they will have sex with you. It is a trap for men. A man may start paying and the girl will vanish or tell you that she will never have sex with you. They take your money first and they don't give anything in return. If they give something in return, you will discover that you pay more than what you would have paid hiring an escort or going numerous times to a massage parlor.

One sugar baby asked me to organize a trip to the Dracula's castle near Brasov. I had to rent the car, find the accommodation. Another one wanted me to pay for a stay in Constanta while I was located in Bucharest. To me, the sugar baby / sugar daddy thing is the new scam.

You better suggest an offer to a freebie if you think it is possible.

Unfortunately the second half of my stay was hampered by some time consuming professional affairs I had to tend to. So I did not have enough time to meet a very nice girl I found through a contact from this website (Alice is her name).

Asked for 300 Lei (65 €) for a babysitter, "then I will be free for you as long as you like". We can go to my apartment then? "Sure. Pick me up at Liberty Mall. " I did. It led me to an area of Bucuresti I would not have seen so easily otherwise. In front of the mall I met two ladies, both trashy unfortunately. I gave her 100 Lei in compensation and left them standing there.

Now I have one contact left, one girl who got me interested to return to Romania in the first place. She should be here in a few minutes. I will report on that later.

Thank you for the suggestions! Made some experiences with bar lounges where approachable girls just boosted the drinks turnover of the bar / club not being eager to come back to the hotel and earn an extra buck. I don't think that venturing alone to the fancy clubs in the north of Buc would make any sense; would end up having blown off big bucks and come out empty-handed.
