My guess is the girls prefer a doorman be present for their own safety.

My last 2 Airbnb we're small 3 or 4 story buildings in estadio. I had girls coming over and never an issue. I did have one girl say she prefers hotels or places with doorman. I guess I like not having to get each girl checked in by the doorman. I guess I feel strange going by the doorman each day and he knows I have 2 Chicas come over everyday.

You have proven yourself one of the most sensible and knowing guys on this site. I value your information and enjoy reading your posts. So I hope you know I'm not trying to have a go at you. I make this comment whenever I see references to "back home" prices. Provider prices in Europe, the US or anywhere that isn't where we are buying. Don't matter. As soon as I think about how much more something would cost back home I take it as a signal that I am paying more than I need to. I'm guilty of it and I try to avoid it. It's justifying overpaying. There is no right or wrong answer but it's one of those red flags we can use to keep ourselves out of trouble.

No worries. I may have worded that poorly, really for a FaseII cutie 500 k for 2 days is not too bad. Obviously my money would have gone farther with one of my Centro chicks. LOL. But FaseII girls are the US equivalent of Doll House girls, spoiled and used to getting more $ but hopefully hot enough to make up the difference.

I'm thinking of getting an Airbnb in laureles without a doorman. Anyone care to chime in on advantages / disadvantages? I've seen some prepago ads that say they only go to apartments with doorman. Has anyone had trouble getting chicas to come to apartments with doorman?

I grew tired of the Mansion / Castillo and even staying in apartments near Lleras. So I started staying in an apartment in laureles. In May it will be my 4th time. I like the area. It is flat. My apartment is two blocks from La 70 and also near Avenida San Juna and stores and restaurants and pharmacies. The Unicentro mall is not far away. If you want casas, the estadio casas are close (see a very recent post below from another guy). And centro is close. I rarely use casas. All of my amigas just come to my apartment. Most of them are FB girls or some I met at the Mansion years ago. And I see a few non-pros. I have no real desire to go back to Poblado, especially since my recent run-in with the cops in Lleras.

I have booked my July trip to Medellin. I have an apartment in Laureles. I decided I wanted to stay somewhere a little less touristy that Poblado and Parque LLeras. Any suggestions for the Laureles area?

I haven't had a problem with chicas coming to apartments with a doorman, but I have had problems with them getting past the front desk. In one instance, a chica visited me and the front desk scanned her ID into their computer. Two days later, she came back without her ID and they would not allow her to go to my apartment.

Now, I only rent apartments without a doorman. I haven't had any problem with chicas refusing to visit because of no doorman. For me, it is much better to not have a doorman. I have seen a few ads that say they only visit apartments with a doorman. I wonder if they will actually turn down a payday. If so, there are many more chicas available.

As luck would have it she is very close to my hotel on la 70. Same building as secret spa, Carrera 70 a 43-48 in building Edificio Huatipan Apt #1102. She quoted me 150 k HR which I know more than likely is an up-sell from 130 k for locals. Built in tip. She was exactly as her pics minus the tattoos which she has a bunch. Nice blanca, all natural from Pasto and very pretty IMHO. DATY was fantastic, fresh sweet honey pot. Room is sparse but with shower, towels, communicate via whatsapp. I plan to visit her again before I leave.

I'm back in Medellin after more than a year. Staying at Hotel Villa Real on la sententa a block from Metro station Estadio. Very economical place, like 70 k pesos a night but I'm close to centro via Metro and the spas like Tantra, Secret, Energy and Blue. Abydos use to be on the list but was closed the last time I was here. Since everyone is on the pricing and tip theme I can say from my perspective prices are going up. Tantra is, for today anyway, 135 k pesos for an hour of full service. I like these Laureles spas as they have better ambiance and I just feel safer walking around that area. Even if the safety is just in my head its real to me. That chick Wolf refers to as estrella use to go by the name luna and was a regular of mine. Price was 150 k to 200 k an hour in my room depending on how I felt the performance was. That pricing held for 2 years during which I would return to MDE on a regular bases. I reached out to her and now she values her little box at 350 k an hour. Says she has many clients paying that. Good for her but I will not be one of them. Needless to say she is off my list. I can do her at fase dos for almost half that if the need arises. But there are always more and more chicas at everyone's price point. I agree that tipping by gringos makes many of the girls kinda "expect" it regardless of service given. I personally give 10 k to the spa chicas en laureles when the service was good and she had a smile on her face and "pretended" to enjoy her time with me. None of us are going to be able to prevent others from paying what they want. They can read on this board what are the normal prices but in the end many I feel just want to show off. Buts its their money and I can still find more chicas than I could possible utilize at my price point.

Tantra had a nice selection today, about 7 girls of different shapes and colors. I enjoyed a petite one and she gave me an enthusiastic BJ which earned her the 10 k tip. I really enjoy the patio bar in the back of the house. You can chill and have a drink with a girl before deciding. The rooms are nice and spacious. I really don't like the cramp rooms found in centro. The madam mentioned that they are opened one Sunday every month. Which one you will have to call. Cra 80 No 44 b-139.

I also tried Secret Spa but they only had 2 chicas out of 5 available. I will wait to see the five since they have a viewing fee. 140 HR for full service.

I won't go to secret a waste of time, I like tantra the best and then Energy has more girls but costs a little more. Either of them are WAY bettter than Secret, don't waste your time.

She is definitely a fun girl to hang out with. I have traveled with her myself and know of what you speak. I've enjoyed my time with her but she is out of my price range now as I monger for 3 months at a time and cannot keep up a 200 us a day girly budget nor would I want to. We all place value differently and I'm happy she is earning more as she was undervalued IMHO when she started at the centro clubs.

I think that is what you should do also.

She will come over for 300 k, at least she did last month, but then again she knows I have presents for the girls and picked her up some cripa and we have met before and get along. And she does have to travel a long way from Rio Negro.

At FaseII 190 k + 10 k door + drinks (20 k+ to 110 k) means 220 k+ min to see her at the club, I don't mind another 80 k to have her come to my hotel where I have my tunes and my drinks / snacks and we can dance and have fun and take a hot water shower etc.

Once she started working at Fase it is no surprised she got spoiled, basically only Colombian high rollers are going to hang out there.

She did quote me a ridiculous high figure to spend a day with me, Parque Arvi, dinner, my hotel etc. (she wanted 300 k for the hotel time and 200 k a HR for the park / dinner etc. LOL. I told her it was 500 k or never mind and she took it. I actually got two days out of it cause we got soaked at Parque Arvi so she caught a bus home from there and then came back the next day for dinner and fun. (which I was a little surprised she didn't blow me off as she already had the $).
