I did not have that problem. Then again, I went into places where the prices are set based on time, and in the case of Energy, are actually posted online. I never made it to El Poblado, either. What freelancers charge the tourist is a different story, and I'm sure there are those who will spend like a gringo, and be taken advantage of.

The only time I had anyone try to take advantage of me (that I know of) was at the cafe opposite my hotel on "La Setenta". On the second morning I was there, I had to remind the waiter that the same breakfast he just served me, cost me 3000 k less the day before. He adjusted the tab accordingly. The previous morning, in the same cafe, I handed some cash to the waitress and walked out. She ran outside after me to give me back my change, unaware that it was meant as a propina. Don't expect that to happen in the DR!

Frankly, I don't follow the going rates like I do my 401 k. I paid what I think is reasonable and fair, but I digress. I don't read ISG often and why should I have to? Disagree or no, I pay what I believe is fair. I still paid a fraction of what I would have paid in the US. One hour with any of the women I went out with would cost over $300 for one hour. And I got a lot more time than that. It was all GFE, something hard to come by in the US. I also said 400 k was the most I paid. We all have a lot more money compared to the local population and we are all rich in their eyes. I don't believe bragging about how little one is able to pay is particularly compassionate.

I could go on. It's my money. One or a dozen people are not going to change the economics by paying more than what others pay. And if it does, maybe the economics should be changed. It's like giving the waiter more than the standard tip is not going to change things, but if it does, maybe Adam Smith meant that to be. To get angry at someone because you (and I don't mean you personally Mr. E) think he's paying too much and ruining things is silly.

That's an opinion and I know many, if not most of you disagree with it, But I am entitled to my opinion.
I totally agree with you. You make it you spend it.

I think most of your disgruntled price and tip control people have always been the back at the end of the line people. Afraid they might miss out and blame it on others. The only one making them miss out out is the man in the mirror.

Take care and happy pooning your way sir!

You really do not get it, not all people want and value things as you do.

Not all mongers want the cheapest hooker with the highest dick mileage. Honestly, you are wasting your money. Who the fuck wants to spend his vacation in a dangerous ghetto / shithole fucking ratchet working girls?

    Hey,

I feel the same way pretty much, I hate Poblado with a passion and do not like the impersonal Casa line up choosing, even less so at Energy where you pick them out by the number they wear.

I did SeekingArrangements also my 1st trip but those girls are mostly dealing with foreigners so they have a inflated price.

I find the strip clubs fun, you can sit and talk or drink with a bunch of girls to pick one who seems both cool and sexy. And then try them on site 1st to see how you click, $28 to $65 ish from the Centro clubs to Fase II. Then if you like her get her number and WhatsApp a date for the next day / night.

I even like the Centro redlight blocks more then the Casa's, I can chat with the girl a bit and do a attitude check, they will be $10 to $20 for a test ride and much cheaper then SA girls to come see you at your hotel.

400 k for all night isn't so bad. Assuming the hourly rate is 150 k to 200 k (outside of Centro) then it seems fine to me.

That being said, you are right that it's quite a lot for Colombians. The ones who are over paying are paying 200 USD for short time. That's insane. Like paying 50 bucks for a one way subway ride.

Yes if you want to be a buddy fucker and have these chicas turn into self entitled lazy bitches that we have in North America. And no if you don't want the price for pussy to be comparable to North American in 5/10/ or 20 years.

    Bad experience with scort: Anastasia.

On some occasion my whatsapp came a picture of a very beautiful woman, when I arrived in Medellin look for scorts in "mileroticos" and surprise. It was her, the beautiful woman. All the services included. But there was something that generated distrust, price $ 80 COP x 30 min (a scort of that level and economic).

She has an apartment to receive the clients, she is located in the Poblado, we agreed and when she opened she noticed that many girls work there.

The face was not the same, if it was her but the face was ugly and fat. We entered the room and I felt ripped off: No BBBJ, no 69, no different positions, no kisses and dead cow. Bad sex. Regular vaginal for 30 min and I decided to leave.

Experience: not all beautiful girls are good sex or GFE, this time I lost.

Attached video. I hope you like it.

If there's any interest, I'll do a part 2 when the trip ends.
Nice report, thanks man! Part 2 please.

I've been a long time member. I don't contribute much because I don't agree with the mainstream philosophy and self-rigtheousness often found. Many members are intolerant that other members think differently. I am not a professional monger nor do I want to be. There is no judgment intended in that remark. To each his own. I started my post with stating that I was posting hesitatingly. I knew there would be criticism. In the future, I'll just lurk. This is my last negative remark, it's not worth it. I am enjoying myself and spending my kajillions of dollars (I wish!) and the rest of the world be damned, haha.

400 k in Medellin is out of the market. In short, not only you overpaid (you may not care of wasting money, as you have plenty), but also most likely your experience was below the standard, as girls who overcharge a foreigner do not feel sympathy but greediness.

But trust, unless it is some big time drug dealers ain't no Colombians considering 400K as being reasonable for some pussy. In 100 countries I have never needed pussy so bad as to pay 400K for it. I do not consider that remotely reasonable, especially for Colombia. And feeding a bih in addition to that? Or are you saying that she made dinner for you included in the 400K?

To put things into perspective, my girlfriend works a normal job at an energy company in Bogota and makes 800K/MONTH. So imagine being back home and giving someone 1 month's salary for 2 nights of being with you. Would you consider that reasonable?

The original plan was to stay a week. I extended that to 2 more weeks. I'm here 8 days now. The first 5 days were spent at an Airbnb in Poblado, Soul Lifestyle Apartments. I don't recommend it. The apartment wasn't totally up to snuff and the host, or should I say super host, was less than accommodating. The building itself is nice and management there is very helpful. It's basically an 80 apartment building geared to being a hotel with a few independent owners, like the one I had. I'm not here to write an apartment review but I'll be happy to answer any questions. I also wrote a review on the Airbnb site..
Nice report. A lot of people in California where I live talk about how annoying Cabo San Lucas is in Mexico because it's so "Americanized". Too many places set up just like the resorts & restaurants in the US, and too many Americans there speaking English.
