Thanks for all the informative posts here. My friend and I are headed to Medellin the second week of October and your posts have been of immense help to plan the trip. I have PM-ed some of you and thanks for all the great suggestions. I have been trying the facebook route and have started talking to a few chicas. Have any of you spend time with the below two of them. Two of the pics are of Luisa and two of the others are of Jiminez. Would love to know your experience. Want to line up appointment before we land.

Yeah dude I know both chicas. Weird though that you are asking about a pair of sisters. Xime (I think she uses Jenny) has been a solid provider for several years and has a good rep. Her little sister Luisa just got her cedula last fall so she's 19 or very close to it now. She's a real flaca and tries hard to please too. I call the profiles you described "Bobo bait. " Just a few sexy pics, no real content. You'll find quite a few are fake profiles. Some are trolls, some are pimps, some are girls who don't look as good as the photos. Some are angry ex Western Union novios and the rest are long time pros and the pics are rarely current.

I rarely waste my time with them. I'll make an exception if a select few people are mutual friends. In my opinion, the time to do research is before you click the "add friend" button, not after. Then again, it all depends on what you're looking for. If your selection criteria is 1. Do I like her pics? 2. Will she come over and fuck me? And 3. Is the price right?, then it doesn't matter.

I look for more substance. First, I try to determine her age. I remember 1 girl some guy had raved about, 18, fantastic, did everything. Three weeks earlier she had posted pics of her 15th birthday party. Pass. Next, I decide if she's available. That's a little more complicated than "does she have sexy pictures?" Every Colombiana has sexy pictures. It's the national pastime. I also take a look at her family situation. Kids? Boyfriends? Dogs? Overly possessive lesbian girlfriends? It doesn't matter to me, except I don't want to be the guy killed by a 250# lesbian for stealing her girl.

If she passes my tests, I'll send the friend request and forget about her. If she accepts, about half will immediately send a message. From there it's just a matter of who I want and when I want them.

As for sending friend requests to fellow mongers, good luck. I only accept people who I know and get along with.

I can confirm that the guy in the orange hat and I have over 100 friends in common and I have never seen any girls through Vane. So they are the girls, not some fake profiles. You don't even need to add the guy.

Seriously, you are 100% right. To be fair, guys asking that question don't probably spend enough time in country to realize how hard it is to separate one facebook chica from another. Even if their weight and hairdos didn't change as often as they do it would be difficult.

Simple. Look up "La Vane Restrepo" and "Pablo Medina". Lighter toned guy with a orange hat on. Friend Request them and look at their friends list. Filled the damn brim with hookers and even non pros that want to fuck for free if you look as good as I do hahaha. Take one hour and friend request every single girl that catches your eye. There is a way easier solution. I buy this Three-UK SIM card off Amazon and it has free roaming in 70 different countries, including all of Europe and of course Colombia. It's 12 GB for $45 valid for one year, which works out to about $3/ GB which I think is cheaper than here if you buy local. You don't get local SMS or calling but everyone has whatsapp so who cares. Pop it in, and you're good to go. Works in USA as well if you need backup data (it's nice because you can pick your provider in case of bad signal). I use about 3-5 gb per month.

I pop it in during my flight, and when I land, I'm just as cool as everyone who flips on their phones right when they land, to let all the ladies know I'm officially here. .

This was some very good advice. They have an Asian sim as well. Only issue is I didn't see Dominican Republic on the list. So maybe I have to find something else but for now it will work perfect for my trip.

If you turn on a Cell Phone in Colombia using Tigo, you have 30 days to register it or Tigo puts a permanent block on the IEMI number, then the phone is useless in Colombia, trust me, I've been through the fiasco of trying to get my phone unblocked by the official Tigo office. Foreigners cannot register phones in Colombia without a Cedula. Pollo negro is out!

But at one point you must swap sim cards or have an international plan on an American company's system. It all sounds nice until you arrive here in Medellin without an unlocked foreign phone and attempt to use it. Good luck walking into any official tigo store & officially registering a phone with an American passport. You can buy sim cards at any tigo carrier, but after 30 days, they will block the phone. I can assure you this! Pollonegro is out!

Go to claro.com.co, follow the links to mobile and register the phone with your passport and the phone number of your Claro SIM. The bit about a receipt pertains to phones purchased in Colombia. Your IMEI will indicate to Claro whether the phone was purchased in Colombia or not. Good luck.

I received this text from claro, it says: "Because Your equipment is not approved in Colombia. It will be blocked in 45 calendar days if it is not homologated. If you bought it in Colombia, complain to the equipment vendor! " I can't make this stuff up, pollonegro is out!
