Som's new location is around the bend from her original Sukhumvit Soi 14 location as you turn right from Sukhumvit onto Ratchadaphisek. Ratchadaphisek is what Asok becomes when it crosses Sukhumvit. So Som's new bar/shop would be essentally across the street from the Exchange Tower in that intersection, just past Sukhumvit, down a small driveway next to the little Asok Bar on Ratchadaphisek.

The new name of her bar/shop is Duangporn Massage or something like that. You will see some ladies sitting outside her shop on that small driveway. 2500-3000 is common for ST. Those asking 3000 can sometimes be negotiated down to 2500. The opportunity to preview is an advantage, I've more often been disappointed by Thermae girls than bar girls.

No need to tip on top of the ST fee for either gogo girls or thermae freelancers.

I guess I've had the opposite experience-- thus far, my Thermae experiences have been far better, with better bodies and faces in the light, and more GFE than go-go girls (save one go-go girl, my most recent was 100% GFE). Plus less expensive (2500 vs 2500/3000 + barfine).

My experience is similar to yours in terms of normal rates I pay for girls met on dating sites like ThaiFriendly and ThaiCupid. And 2,000-2,500 baht for Long Time, not just for Short Time, is very doable.

However, bear in mind the online scene has no observable reference standards whatsoever. Girls can either be totally inexperienced at How Much and For What in the P4P scene or they can be hardened pros who know the score at every venue level. I can't recommend Crazy House anymore although it is still a hands on, nude girly bar and still fun occasionally. I highly recommend Kings Castle 1 & 2 on Patpong 1 (not Kings Corner 1 & 2 LOL).

You should not pay more than 3000 for ST in any GO GO in BKK or Pattaya. Barfines vary. Kings Castle 1 and Mandarin have high barfines to pay off their agency girls (1400 & 1500 respectively). I only buy drinks for my girl unless one of her girlfriends is really nice and I think I might want to do her or them together at a later date. There is no need to tip a mamasan. If pressured I say, "later" and they quit asking. I tip certain waitresses at my favorite Go Go's because I know them long time & they know me and give me preferential service. I do tip mamasan Tang at Crazy House because I have known her a long time and she gives me special attention and vip treatment. I give my CH mamasan 100 baht and buy her a drink, but only when I am in the process of barfining a CH girl, otherwise, when I am just looking, she gets nada. She understands my M.O. and is very cool with it.

Said it before and will say it again there is absolutely ZERO need to tip any gogo mamasan. What is she going to do? Bring a girl for you next time? I'm more than capable of getting my own girl and what are the odds the next girl mamasan brings me is someone I actually like. Listen to what Natty posted there is some very good info in his post. I was going to barfine a gogo girl one night but her insistence that I had to tip the mamasan made me change my mind. Keep in mind girls and mamasans see a tourist a mile away.



I prefer Thermae over any gogo bar. Wish we had a place like Thermae in Pattaya. Odd we don't given the number of Japanese and Korean tourists. No ladydrinks and lots of good laughs watching guys and girls interact. I've always had sufficient service at Thermae. Never expect PSE or you will be disappointed at Thermae.

I have been around long enough to know better, but still got had. Thanks for confirming what I suspected, I guess I wasn't thinking with the right head at the time, LOL. I guess I'm more used to the Indo scene now where everything is pretty standard in the bigger venues and can pay with credit card.

Given 2000 ST is possible near closing time, as Jakebrown6661 below indicates, what's a reasonable ST? 2500? Then do folks still tip? I generally tip 100-200 to Thermae girls if the experience was good, they have been appreciative and did not seem to expect. No tip to mama, got it. And I got to stay disciplined on the lady drinks. That still adds up to maybe 3000ST for Go-go, maybe quality isn't that much better than Thermae, other than the chance to preview the goods up close (and even then, can't always tell what the body is like under real lighting and everything off.

I'll also admit I didn't RTFF enough before setting out, and my last time in a go-go was years ago, having just done Thermae or focused on civvies. Lesson learned.
