IEven harder to believe you'd go to a Spanish-speaking country and not know at least how to say prices.

That said, you'll get by somehow. I speak Spanish, but I've been to destinations where I didn't know the language and I was able to get by.

They are not there to cater to foreigners. That is why it is cheap. The same thing can be said about you not knowing Spanish. You can use Google translate to communicate.

I got you man. You really do not know until you see for yourself. It is just a big area with bars and clubs and people hanging on the street. My first time there was in the daytime and I stopped and talked to some chicks at a casa. I had on diamond earrings. They told me to take those off around here. I took them off. Never had a problem there or seen a problem there in all these years.

Yes I went there once as a wingman insited on visiting it. It's basocally the most expensive place of Bogota. Great mansion with lounge atmosphere. No pole dance, no loud music, no disco light and when we were visiting it no other guests. To answer the questions, there is no pool party , no party and no pool at all. It's not a hotell, its an upscale brothel. Around 10 girls coktail dressed and well maked-up, so you don't feel like being in a brothel. Although they do their best not to look like the typical lhookers and try to fake they are strato 6, I was not impressed by the line-up. As I live in Bogota, girls in my social circle look better. But I can understand that a tourist will not notice it and might have a blow compared to Santa Fe. You take a drink at he bar with the girl you have chosen and can go to one of the rooms. As far as I remember, pricing is 200 000 for the room or 400 000 to take out before midnight, 200 000 after midnight, plus 400 000/30 min 600 000/60 min for the girl. Of course I decliend, but my wingman went for a session. After all, it's maybe not such a bad deal for a tourist, as price schema was fixed, while in Lido a gringo without spanish might end up paying lot more. My wingman reported me that the session was not that GFE. Bottomline, there is no relation between price and quality of service in the mongering world.

I have been in South East Asian countries like Thailand and even there you can find places that charge $300-$400 for a girl. I'm going to stick to the privded maps and Santa Fe or places like Pussy House. Might just visit Lido for a beer. I'm a little nervous that I'm going to visit Santa Fe at night but I'm going to dress down and stick to Calle 15. I'm also planning to buy a dummy iPhone for $20 and happily hand it to anyone who tries to kidnap me.

I will repeat.

There is no difference between a girl in Santa Fe and in Lido. Same body. Different clothes nothing more. If you want a hardened hooker with nicer clothes a little more polish IE. English and a more believable back story of why she's in a prostibulo then clip joints in the north of Bogota like lidos are the place to go. But the same exact girls are waiting in the bars of Santa Fe. They are wearing less fashionable clothes (jeans etc) but exact same bodies even girls with fake boobs and rear are there. Its just that they are more focused on 70 k for 15 minutes than the northern girls who score a big hit 500 k every few days.

I think Bogota is the only place that I'm happy that I don't have blonde hair / blue eyes and even preferred to look more like Bin Laden. Nobody going to kidnap someone with that face. By the way when are you planning to visit? I'm thinking of March 7th-17th.

The average online price for chicas in Bogota is around 150 K per hour according to sites like prepagados.com, ranging from as low as 80 k and as high as 250 k. I guess you have to account for some extras too. But 800 K!? That's 220 Euro and is much more than I would pay here in Belgium! Seems there is a crazy range of prices there, from the ridiculously low in Santa Fe, to the total ripoff prices such as at Lido! Don't think I'll be bothering visiting there!

Whenever guys start talking about "never", "always" and "none", they are feeding you a line of crap. How many guys out there have hit every north club and every Santa Fe club, every night for 15-20 nights straight, keeping track of every girl working in every club on each night? Until someone does that we'll never know how many girls work both ends of the economic scale. It's somewhere between none and all.

I guess it's comforting to believe that the girl charging 600-800 k is from an estrato 5 family and that she only sees 1 or 2 guys a week. The confusing part is when guys think the girls making 50 k a session are doing 20 guys a day. My trusty calculator tells me they're making over 20 million COP / month if that's the case. That's assuming no weekend or holiday work. I'm wondering, where do they all park their BMWs?

I might ad that in Medellin, a number of times I have seen very pretty girls walking and offering in centro just looking to make a quick 80 or 100 mil BEFORE they head to work at La Isla and / or Fase Dos or the like higher end clubs.

They are too pretty in centro, over by the paseo in Botero plaza area, that they look out of place, I could swear they are normal girls just passing through but looking to make some extra spending money.

The one girl I took to a love motel was irresistible and it was before she was to head to La Isla for the night, I was kind enough to warm her up, jajaja.
