Posts: 13Unusual request in the shutdown period.
Over the last year, I experienced some good contacts with a girl I met in Judy's (from VietNam of course). Using WC we would meet, independent of bar activities, and she would stay with me for a couple of days in my SH hotel. So there was more than the hardcore activities, we would visit musea and other events. I visit SH every 2 months for business. With the present shut-down, she is staying in HCMCity and is not considering any other way of working in SH than the usual places: J and M. Bur she did contact me with an interesting proposal: she could fly over, stay with me for a week, only with me and fly back. She showed me her economics, 3400 RMB for the return ticket and twice the taxi fare from Pudong to the hotel. It is intriguing, but I had to decline. A few encounters in a week of 1500-2000 RMB is one thing, but maintaining a lady for a whole week, outside work, is rather challenging. In the evenings there are some business obligations and we always enjoy our dinners and other outings. We have a healthy appetite between the sheets, though, a lot of foreplay (BBBJ and DATY; she does not fake her orgasm), and the usual K9 missio and the occasional trip to the Greek islands, always covered. But to go for these activities every night? Not for me. Any thoughts in the forum about this proposition? Anyone did it before?

Its an overzelous action from the local LE in reaction to the ongoing controls since this month is VERY important for them and if something goes bad they will be accused of covering for it before.
They don't want to risk a legit place having a girl doing services for tips on her own will.
Same goes for some shops whom are afraid of getting shutdown and having hard procedures launched against them in case of something going wrong.
Therefore some legit shops are closed, others only have males for male and female for females, others have removed their doors, others have banished oil massage but accomplish massage with clothes, all showers in room have been banished but some provide a room to shower, others provide no shower at all, and some massage joints allow female oil massage on men with doors closed. All cases exist and are a mix of local LE and shop owner's fears.
I'd say if all goes on well and inspection is a success, the pressure should go down a lot at the end of the month and everyone will be happy the central gov gives them a good mark for their advancement in the party.

Don't think I'd reach the conclusion, as some posters have, that the Chinese can't stop or greatly hinder the world's oldest profession. This is a tightly monitored and controlled environment. Even in the "free and democratic" US, federal and local governments have clamped down on prostitution, making it dangerous and overpriced. The US, guided by its grandiose 1st amendment, recently shut down Backpage. In fact, the US is more than willing to curtail freedom of speech and private business transaction between willing parties under the guise of (relatively rare) child smuggling. Authoritarian China could do much, much more.
For a take on the recent massage scene, see: http://www.smartshanghai.com/wire/we...ource=android. The massage parlors they talked to said it could be a month. Or it could be permanent.
If I were a betting man, I'd say mongering will be getting more and more dangerous in Shanghai, though the deteriorating environment could be punctuated by some periods of more lax enforcement.
Wish it weren't so!

I have read on a local site that Sh police is doing a lot of arrests to cut the resource providers of some big gang (s) or similar crime organisations. So, could be that the wind on "our" MPs and the like are gusts from a bigger hurricane. And reading the posts over the arrests for drugs issues, easily can be connected to this news.
This can be a good news or a bad news. Good news would be that, once the gangs are gone, everything goes back to normal and ma be cheaper (just dreaming.). Bad news would be that there will be shortage of "raw material" and price goes up.
Hope for the first one.
And I am pretty sure it is hard to stop the oldest job in the world.
Just wish to share the news.
Enjoy.

I received, as many of you I believe, this PM from a new member with 0 posts on ISG (not that having 50 posts would have changed the picture):
Hey blackpage
Read your posts on the Shanghai board, really helpful very detailed thanks for the effort man.
Was travelling to shanghai next week, was looking for some relaible wechat contacts.
See if you can share some. Will revert with detailed FR>
Cheers, thanks.
I am sure it is needless note, but I would advise to not share any wechat contact with unknown people, especially in the current environment.

Posts: 295Massage Parlors Closing in 5-Star Hotels
Islamization of Shanghai continues.
Was in one of city's most famous 5-star hotels. Asked about massage. She said all massage services closed this month. Might open again in future, but not sure. This the most plain vanilla massage known to mankind.
Time to get out of Shanghai. I'm not optimistic about the future.

For those that must get LB serviced, I say find some horny rich MILF if you are attractive enough, but if you are fat or ugly and undesirable and only can get P4P then you are SOL. Or you can risk it and end up in a round up like what happened to Steven and a few customers from NLO.

Hard to say where it will end. However, I don't believe we'll get back to where we were 3 years ago any time soon.

I went to my usual legit MP today. I've been going there regularly for over 6 years. Store was closed. I texted one of the gals, and she confirmed that it'll be closed for at least a month. Despite my many massages there, there's never been a hint of extras. I've only gotten excruciatingly painful foot and back massages that made me feel fantastic later. This is getting ridiculous.
