But this is my first visit to Goa. I see many cautionary tales in the forum.

Any advice from Goa experts? I don't want to fall part to some scam on locanto or vivastreet.

Hello fellow mongers,

There's a chick who goes by the name Spinach (in Hindi), from some remote part of Maharashtra, who is apparently doing her MBA from Pune and on vacation in Goa. She acts as an amateur trying it for the first time and in need of sugar, hence into the game. She'll turn up at yours, with a friend tailing her, who she says is also doing some freelancing tonight and that she came with her on the bike. She'll chill for a bit, act all interested in what you're saying and then will ask for the sugar upfront since her friend is still waiting and had some scene with someone hence the entire sugar is needed up front. What happened next is that a rickshaw with a guy and a girl inside turn up near my hotel room and I can see this from my balcony. She gets a call and acts like it's her female friend calling, but it's the guy somehow they didn't factor in me seeing that. Told her to ask her female friend to come to the room and take the sugar, but she doesn't budge, apparently because the guy in the rickshaw is her friends "john". It's a con. I got away with a 3 unit damage for her "travels". But my gut feeling is that it's a con and what happens is that she walks away with the sugar. A part of it is purely instinct but nonetheless I wanted to get this out there, in case someone else has experienced something weird like this.

Give that I was there for 6 days and got nothing from any of my research and looking it would be safe to assume that Goa is indeed dry.

The reason I didn't publish my FR with the Black Beauty, was that without the seniors help, there a strong chance of Gia being completely Dry.

I was lucky. That's all.
