Posts: 4051I agree youtube is no substitute for experiencing the real thing. It is useful to get a an idea of what to expect. I've read stuff on here that makes me thing guys expect to see Veracruz lined with clones of Shakira and Sofia Vergara.

"Mas o menos".
"Asi, asi".
That's "more or less" and " so-so. " Both are the equivalent of "not very good, but I don't want to say bad. " In English we would just say "it was okay", meaning it was acceptable, no more. But in Colombia it's considered more negative.
My advice is to avoid the hottest girl at any casa. She gets picked more than the rest. She already knows she will make her money. Why put forth any extra effort?
I always look for the right attitude. Read the body language. Some clearly don't want you to pick them. Some are desperate for anyone to pick them. Some don't really care. Usually there will be 1 or 2 who look like they are daring you to try them. In my experience, those are the ones who give the best performance.

Posts: 4051Yo, Hunts Point was hectic back in the day. Mostly Dominicans, everybody up in there was coked up and thirsty. Real talk: Centro is Disneyland by comparison.

Posts: 4051Confessions of a Centro rat
I am a Centro rat. I don't live there but I spend a lot of time there. I don't know what Kafka expected or imagined. There are youtube videos and more written descriptions on this website than anybody has time to read. The finding diamonds expression says it all. If you devote the time you can win. It's not for everybody. Casas and strip clubs are quicker surer things with better clothing, makeup and comfort. It's all good. Me personally, I use Veracruz / Raudal to break up the routine, to pass time, and to find those diamonds when they are there. I have more personal contacts who I can call and meet than I have time. I like variety. I can afford the better strip clubs but I don't enjoy them because of the silicone, the noise, and the general atmosphere. There is no wrong or right answer to this, it's about personal preferences. I go to casas too, mostly in Centro. It's all good, enjoy.

Know my way around the block. Had a good laugh with my Paisa friend today. He said he wouldn't fuck a Centro chica with three condoms. Good luck.

You know a really nice place there, where one does not need to be DV to feel well?
I do not remember its name, but almost at the side of the Museo de Antioquia (at right, looking at the museum) there is a very traditional place full of billiard tables, with old photos and frames to the walls, cheap beers, and 100% paisa people playing. I spent 2 hours there, but many years ago.
No, no girls servicing there. Only men in Juan Valdez style with moustache and hat (of course, see: hats are important in Medellin!).
