Yeah I agree totally, but there are rare occasions when I have slipped up and took a girl who was wasted either due to the fact that I was drinking a lot with her and misjudged her level of intoxication based on my own level which was beneath hers or I came along after the girl had already had a few and I bought her a couple more not realizing that my drinks would be too many for her and yet somehow not noticing their effect until it was too late, as in after we had left the bar.

If it is the former, I can only say sometimes you come to a conclusion about whether or not the girl is worth barfining the instant she sits next to you. Yes, in some cases chemistry or a reasonable prediction for how things might turn out can be determined just about that fast. Especially if the girl was all over you before you finally agreed to buy her a LD but turns into a statue the instant she sits next to you and orders her drink. And it can go the other way too, of course. Could be the guy is just waiting to see which way it will go with a particular girl.

I indeed meant the former. The latter, buying many lady drinks and not taking out, can still very well mean that the guy has a good time. This for me is not determined solely by the taking out part.

Of course all you describe can well happen. I just saw a bit too often that neither guy nor girl were making any initiative to start anything, let alone small talk. Both have a bit of a moral obligation to make contact at the least. After that it is the job of the girl to make him happy, but with dud guys she can not work any more than we like to handle a dud girl. And he is throwing away money and not in the good way (1 or 2 LD's is not that much, on a second thought, but still wasted money in this situation IMHO).

Just some clarification, I don't mind spending more time with a working girl. I did quite a few overnights in many parts of the world. But the setup at Globe and the German FKKs, is such that the girl is eager to leave and look for new business after the session. The time to chat with her is before going into the room, while deciding whether you want this girl or not. Once I decide to take a chick to the room, 30 min is enough for me.

But several guys have told me they buy many Ladydrinks for the girls and try to get them super drunk because it is easier to fuck them bareback without a hassle back in the room that way. That isn't my style. But that's what some guys who buy LD after LD after LD for a girl have told me. Patpong has not been on my to do list since 13 years and even then I only attended once with a semi-girlfriend, for dinner only. So I thought let's experience this. I'm not so experienced with gogo bars, so it was an evening to learn something new. I did not get laid nor did I want to, but at least three people were going to be very happy tonight: the feet, the fatty and the freshman. More on that later.

I went there by BTS and looked for the Patpong side streets. First I made a round to see what's what, but then got into King's Castle I. An ok sized gogo bar, with quite some talent (best I've seen tonight, though that is not saying everything). Watched a few rotations drinking a beer and then went on for King's Castle (no number I think).

Ok size bar as well, with a few hotties dancing in front. They were clearly there as eyecandy and did not do any effort to get called over to sit with customers. Only interested in a few high rollers. I was willing to buy, but they did not even look my way. Okay, if it is like that than suit yourself. Their loss, for me there are more fish in the pond and as stated I was not really into taking a girl out this evening.

I walked to Black Pagoda, upstairs at the third floor with the glass bridge across the street. Veni, vidi, bye bye! I went in but turned around straight away because of the lack of talent. A little further on the road there was Badabing, but I only saw a series of men sitting at benches with no girls. And I did not see any girls dancing. Perhaps I should have peeked in, but I did not bother at that time.

Next was King's Castle II, next to number I. Same same, nothing new. Some girls okay, but no real stunners. After this, I went to Triple XXX Lounge, with an ok number of girls dancing. After arriving in BKK, I first wanted to try out Line and ThaiFriendly. A bit disappointed in Line so far, but have to be fair also, it is still early.

After installing Line with my brand new Thai phone number, I set up a new account. After that I have only been looking for the 'People Nearby' function, which I could not find. It is supposed to be there, but my Line app looks different from any screenshot online. Where some Line apps have a menu option 'More' at the bottom of the screen (behind which the Nearby function should be located), this Line app has the option 'Wallet' which is something different entirely. And yes, I have updated the pp to the most recent version. Any ideas?

For ThaiFriendly, I did the same. With my Thai phone number I created an account, uploaded a picture and liked some ladies. A bunch are ugly and not many seem to be into p4 p (stating this explicitly in their profile). But interesting contacts start to come in now, so will probably give it a shot sometime soon.

I would say the chances of a better looking than most Thermae girl actually quoting 2,000 baht as an opening number in a negotiation these days is very low, perhaps only if it is her very first day in Bangkok from an outlying province and her first hour in Thermae.

3,000 baht as the opening quote for all but the older, chubbier or more plain looking girls in the place is far more likely and it's been that way for at least a year or two. Yes, many will quickly drop to 2,500 baht if the customer does nothing more than hesitate a nanosecond to accept the quote or appears to be taking a step away from the girl and the negotiation. And I believe negotiating to 2,000 baht is still possible with some of the better looking girls in Thermae if some conditions are right for it; the time of night, day of the month, customer competition, your level of game, presentability, etc.

So, as far as the "going rate" is concerned, I might not be so quick to say 3,000 baht is the new going rate in Thermae. But it is certainly a common starting point for the better looking girls there, imo and in my experience.

Thermae girl Monday night for me was 2000 and she fit my criteria as being slim, firm and cute.

Her services were just fine for me. I am always conscious of the fact that I am in terme once or twice a week, and it is the main source for me of a quickie when I need one. I still get a price benefit in Thailand over Germany, due to needing more time. 60 minutes is my minimum (in Germany too) and sometimes runs to 90 minutes or whatever extra time is available.

We mourn the days of 1991 where a gogo girl wanted as little 500 Baht from you to stay the night, and next day you had to pay her to signal she should leave. I think Soapy girls cost a bit more. In my comparison I forgot to mention that 30 minutes or 60 minutes makes no difference to me in terms of ST. And I can and will only pop once, so a 2 or 3-hour ST would be no use to me either. Ten minutes into the session I know if the session will be a success or a failure, and if successful it will usually be over by the 30 minutes mark, though I don't mind doing small talk or taking a few pictures as extra time.

If your goal is to "squeeze" 2 or 3 pops into a ST, Thailand wins hands down of course, in spite of the grievously inflated prices. But what can be the fun of exerting oneself to come twice within such a short time, even if you can? Maybe on stims + sildenafil, but that's a hobby that goes dangerously beyond getting laid.

When I monger in Colombia, I typically rent an apartment and as a result I spend more time with the girls. I provide food and booze, and my Spanish is pretty decent. Even then I get bored pretty quickly because these girls are relatively young (early to mid 20's) and I am not close to their age. I find it difficult to keep them entertained.
