There is nothing special about Ukrainian girls like Koreans girl vs other Chinese and Japanese. They both put on too much make up and spend 3 hours in front of the mirror before they are seen in public. I was bought in on the whole sales pitch of a Ukrainian wife but my travels to South America, most notably Medellin, Colombia; changed my mind. Right after Medellin I went to Kiev. I got a hot 18 year old who let me have whatever I wanted. Weekends the entrance price was 400 local currency. If we want a table it costs around 2500 which can be used for food and drinks. The dance floor was full of beautiful girls, some were pro. I saw a few guys trying to talk with non pros but they were rebuked. Maybe if you know the language and are smart you can score with non pros. The pros charge around 1200- 2500 per hour.

Kiev was great then now mediocre at best. Kiev should be avoided by newbies unless you real have low standards.

That place has never been a viable mongering option. You have to have a table reservation which will cost a few hundred. You will get quoted ridiculous prices like 500 to 1000. Stupid place that doesn't like foreigners.

As has been mentioned on this forum by the people who have spent the longest time here (the true experts), the greatest advantage is time.

Also relevant but less important: travelling experience / skills (language learning skills, not letting the fear of looking like an idiot stop you from the trial and error journey, which is the only path to becoming an expert; growing up in England as a minority, with brown skin has kept me on my toes, humble, sensitive, frequently questioning), looking half-decent / attractive is a plus.

My parental background is Spanish / Indian, so I have language / accent abilities. I learnt my Spanish in Salamanca, Spain at the age of 27, from virtually nothing as my mother rarely speaks the language, but I prioritized it.

My travelling habit is different to most mongers. I make my money during intensive periods, and then have months of free time.

I have in total spent over ten years living abroad, so different languages / cultures / fears, create little fear anymore.
