I'm standing here at the airport getting ready to leave feeling sad and nostalgic. The people at Medellin was so nice to me it was ridiculous. Your welcome Fun Luvr. To answer your question. Yes, you can get smalls bills at the clubs. The Medellin clubs I visited had no problems giving me 2 mil bills for my 50 mil bills. I did have a problem at a club in Santa Fe, Bogota though. Stay tuned for that report later. Just count your bills so you know they made correct change.

Thanks for the detailed report. I appreciate the information about La Isla. Can you get the small bills for the tips at the clubs? I'll offer some information about the taxis. The fare from the airport is a fixed rate set by the government, no gringo pricing. You were smart in bypassing the hawkers and going to a taxi outside. In the city, the minimum fare is 5,500. That may be the reason the fare was more than the meter. If the meter is more than 5,500, you should be charged what the meter reads.

I do not think that any detail is wasted space, for example I for sure know that if I go to Fase Dos, I will go at a time when there are the most chicas so I have a selection to choose from so I do not have to sit around in the uncomfortable chairs or stools.

Arrived here 5 days ago from Lima. A little warmer here than in Lima, but both city's it feels great compared to the Northern USA.

I'm staying at ground zero in Centro. I have only seen about 4 or 5 girls in Centro streets that I would take. I have been hitting the Casa's,and of them all I prefer New Life. Before I get any further in this TR let me say I'm surprised on all the comments lately concerning if a man has an orgasimo or not during his time with a chica. I also hear guys saying they don't like New Life as it has to many Gringos. I was there waiting to make the important choice on which Chica to take. I told a guy sitting there that I always forget there names. He told me they also have numbers which I never noticed before. That was a value to having a Gringo there for me.

Nicely done. I'll fill in a few things.

The guys inside the airport aren't taxi drivers. They are freelancers. I made the mistake of taking one my first time in Bogota. Fortunately, the security at my hotel heard how much he tried to charge me and got the price reduced to something more reasonable, but still much too high.

If you exit the terminal at the left end, there's a big sign on the wall (Medellin) with the taxi fees.

There's a minimum taxi charge, currently 5500 pesos. I believe the meter begins at 3300 or 3400. There's no need to tip the taxis. Depending on fee, I'll maybe toss in an extra 200 pesos.

The standard price at La Isla is 300 k. No need to haggle, unless you're trying to get the girl to come to your room after work. Then you might get her cheaper. I believe 210 k is the current standard price at Fase 2. The clubs will happily break a large bill so you'll have tip money.

Stage side seats are usually reserved for bottle service. If you're not buying a bottle expect to be moved to a less desirable seat. I expect La Isla charges the same price for Coke and the cheaper beers.

You can. You can do it after you enter the club or have the waiter change it, They have a bill counting machine too.

He got lucky with taxi. The club has cars that they want you to use when you leave. Usually the girls can take taxi thru another exit but not the customers.
