Late report. My first time in Thermae Cafe. Time stamp is October 2019. It's raining outside. First day in Bangkok. Went to Thermae Cafe at 9 pm. It's almost empty maybe because of the rain outside.

There are plenty of Thai girls that are of Chinese ancestry in Bangkok. Other Southern Thailand girls can look quite similar to Issan girls. Just depends if they have any Malay ancestry or not. Northern Thai beauties is a bit of a myth to me. Some nice ones. Many can have broad faces.

No, quite the opposite. Two or three days ago was the first time I noticed a meangful decline in foot traffic on the skywalks around the malls and in the malls. My last cruise through Thermae was around the same time and I did note there was no longer a wide river of customers circling clockwise past the lineup. So, customers are definitely down. I should also say I did not detect any more smiles or responses to "Sawadee khrup" for this 60-ish farang from the best looking young girls in the place than before. Same with the better looking Freelancers on Soi 4 or anywhere else.

However, I have definitely been getting more "Hi. How are you?" Line messages out of the blue from recent past hot gogo dancer and FL contacts missing me so much and wanting to see me again today or tonight if possible. LOL. Always a sign of harder times out there.

That's barely enough time. With limited time, I'd go for one of the the PSE massage places (Tulip, Snow White, Cherry) between Phrom Phong and Thong Lor BTS stations. They tend to be open from about 10 am-midnight. The BTS Sukhumvit line now goes all the way up to Kasetsart University, and a taxi from there to the airport should only take 10-20 min, plus about 40 min on the BTS.

There are probably places in Don Mueang or Rangsit (like a small full-serice massage shop or two), but it's bound to be limited, and I don't know the specifics.
