To OP, dude my first suggestion is don't come on paper thin budget. What's the point coming on a "vacation", and living in some cheap ass hotel, buying 50 b food and bang the worst hookers available. It's enough. $500 is 16 k baht. Assume roughly 1 k for the hotel, 1 k for food and 1 k for other stuff (transport, a drink or two) per day, you have 7 k left over. Return flight tickets from Kolkata, India is showing below $100 to Bangkok for July end. Hope by that time situation will be much better. As well as room charges are showing on a lower side in booking.com. Now only thing that I am not sure is if I will get WGs at 1 pop /1 K or not at that time.
