I have been mongering in Northern California for more than 15 years. The best deal and service I can get is the following:

Hourly rate 220-250 dollars for Asians, hourly rate 350-500 dollars for caucasians, hourly rate 300-400 to Brazilian and Latina. The rates I'm quoting are for acceptable girls, all in their mid 20's to early 30's. Younger and hotter girls with reliable reviews goes up to 500-800 per hour. One night will cost 2000-5000+. If you want extra service such as bareback+, it will cost more, some will insist on using a condom for everything, the Korean girls are a bit more lenient. May be right. I'm not sure. But it makes no sense to allow Americans to fly into Toronto, for example, and then on to Costa Rica.

And the current flights available are all US airlines flying from the US. Only Americans aren't allowed to fly to Costa Rica on them. So I guess I assumed that this would be the same sort of deal.

The only flights I can get from Canada right now are connections through the US. So yes, my flight originates in Canada. But I change planes in the US.

Anyway. Needs more clarification for sure. As far as I can find there are nor will be any direct flights from Canada to CR any time soon.

I went and looked again. Still not totally clear. All of the news prior to the announcement focused on the nationalities of people that would be allowed in. I. e. European, British, Canadian.

But the actual announcement seemed to focus more on flights. Which is odd, since the current commercial flights are US companies flying in with people that are allowed to enter. Costa Rican citizens, diplomats, etc.

My interpretation of all of it is that citizens of those countries can fly in on whatever flights are available, and will be allowed into the country providing they follow the rules as laid out. And that eventually there will be direct flights from those places. And that citizens of countries not allowed in will not be allowed to board those planes, whether they originate in the US, or wherever (same as is currently the case).

I got lucky. I ended up in Medellin for what was, by far, my longest trip (one month) in November. Then, I was itching to come back so bad. I don't know if I had a premonition or what, but when the virus talk started, I booked a flight. Things were changing and shutting down, right as I was supposed to leave. 4.5 months later, and I will never forget (ok, I've already forgotten about 50%) my time here. I genuinely think I will live here, some day. That is, unless a new Medellin comes about, and it has a beach.

And the ban is based on passport, nationality, not where the flight originated. As far as tracking and monitoring. I don't know. But Costa Rica is a basket case of increasing infections right now. Hence they require health insurance and extended stay insurance.

Entry ban usually ban origin, not nationality. I think Costa Rica is missing some requirements. Usually there will be a condition that the incoming visitors can't be in some countries 14 days before. Maybe they think the test will cover it but then why ban visitors from US? The other issue is that they do not require a test after arrival. This presents a gap which will be a problem.

I think Colombia must have thought the virus would be gone by September so they allow international flight without conditions. Now they know the virus won't go away so the old plan would need to be revised.

If they want to do it right, they need to be able to monitor incoming visitors after arrival and during quarantine. Nothing like that are in place. If they could track and control people movement like that, Medellin would have zero case now. The other issue with quarantine is there may not be enough facilities for quarantine purpose. They will need to prioritize and the limit the number of visitors in that case.

The test must be within 48 hours of entry to Costa Rica. There is a gap, yes, but minimal. They make you fill out some forms and declarations. I remember reading one of your posts about going to Mexico for the essential purpose of seeing a "dentist," did you have to present any official documentation for the "dentist" visit?

My essential purpose to go to Mexico was to shack up with a Chica and bang the krap out of her in a luxury hotel Suite with a Jacuzzi and room service.

As far as crossing the border it was a joke, the only question they asked was how many days are you staying, and then a temperature check. However they have recently been requiring foreigners to pay approximately $ 20 USD for a visa which is good for multiple crossings over a six month period. This way the Mexican Government is making some money. As far as your question, I have the business card of a dentist in Tijuana I know. I was going to tell them I have a dental appointment to get a crown if asked. The most shocking part upon crossing the border though was that there was no signage before entering Mexico saying that travel was only limited to "essential travel", and you know what that means in my book.

Just keeping things real and on topic for the Botero and the Vera centro lovers.

With total lock-down imminent from Friday through midnight Sunday (3 days) in Medellin (was 4 days last weekend) wanted to see what was out in the plaza and surrounding areas of centro so spent about 4 hours with boots on the ground yesterday Thursday July 23rd.

My wing man was able to join me a few hours into my afternoon centro visit and when he did we made a number of walking tours around the area, got some new contact numbers and eventually found 2 new girls that neither one of us had session-ed with before.
