Was thick as ever yesterday Tuesday Sept 15th, chicas everywhere but I am really picky nowadays in the park as most every girl or retired girl who's sells candy know who I am. I have been taking them away from the park and banging them at a short term hotel close to Parque Berrios. I rarely leave the house more than twice a week so this week has been nice because my girl wanted to do a little shopping and site seeing in Centro. Since I know many chics, I have them stationed near the Parque Berrios area and I run off for an hour or so while the girlfriend is shopping. I have had some very nice chics that slide to the short term hotel with me this week. I can't lie, Tall Man is correct, a 100 mil will get you a few hours of fun with nearly any 18-20 yr old who frequents the park. Soon they may open up international travel and many BMs can enjoy some of the fun too. I am so tired of cancelling flights that I will not book another flight until I see other foreigners entering into the country. Pollo Negro is out!

In many California cities, when the market is hot, you pretty much have to bid on a property. My friend just sold his house, but he is in limbo now because he lost bid on another house that costs about 2 millions a few days ago. There are also areas that you simply can't time to sell a property thinking you can buy it back at a lower price.

Most if not all Apartments in El Poblado are going to be 5 or 6. Therefore these factors come into play when buying at this level. The fact that they are upper upper middle class and wealthy is going to shrink the market for these apartments (this is a smaller segment of the population in Colombia) to the upper upper middle class and wealthy colombians or gringos / extranjeros. Outstanding mortgages in Colombia only represent about 7. 3% of the GDP in the country; compared to outstanding mortgages in the USA Representing about 79% of the GDP in the USA Which means that when you go to sell your apartment you may have to find a cash buyer with that kind of money. There are always new apartments being built, in the greater El Poblado areas that attract upper upper class Colombians such as El Tesoro, LOS Balsos. And that is what you compete against when you go to sell and that is why your apartment may not even actually appreciate the way you think it might.
When I first visited El Poblado I wondered why in the hell these people wanted to live up on the side of a mountain where the walkability sucks and there is no real feeling of community when you do walk down the street, even in Most of the boroughs of New York, Chicago, in most neighborhoods in L. A. You can walk around and see people milling about looking in store windows, eating al fresco etc, But El Poblado is like a thousand fortresses (outside the Parque Lleras and Parque Poblado areas) secured and sequestered apartment buildings and small gated housing developments etc but then I was reminded of what Medellin was like in the 80's and 90's and the murder, the terror and the mayhem. So people started moving into the secure buildings going up in El Poblado (probably built with the cocaine money that caused the terror) I would want a fortress to raise my kids in also.
I was told that before all the hell and chaos started Laureles was where the estrato 5 - 6 lived. That is when La 70 was legendary and Parque Lleras was not. Now Laureles is estrato 3-4 middle class, La 70 is still happening but by far it is mostly locals. It is safe and there are some nice areas to live there and very affordable if you are buying, and it has a better chance to hold its value than a 5-6. I think there is a market for the Airbnb, a lot of people look for that local flavor / native vibe, walkability, etc.
And there are a fair share of international and nice restaurants in Laureles, for example over on Transversal 39B running through the Circulars ( a type of street like Carrera and Calle but that have a arced shape so are called Circular) starting about where the Carulla supermarket is on Circular 73 going northeast this section of Transversal 39B runs between a quarter of a mile and a half mile crossing through Circular 74, Circular 74A, Circular 74B through past Circular 76 (the last Circular) still heading northwest to where Transversal 39 b crosses Carrera 79 - this stretch has places for ribs, pizza, sushi, hamburgers, wings, etc., Crepes and Waffles is on this stretch and I could eat there everyday. The corner of Transversal 39 b and Avenida 74 B on Google maps (Circular 79 b and Avenida 74 B on different street signs on the ground) caddy corner from a Starbucks are two upscale restaurants Milagros is upscale Mexican with a great reputation, Delirio Exquisito, also upscale Mexican food with a lean toward seafood. This is just one stretch of an area that is over a quarter mile long and offers varieties of nice places and is walkable.
I am sure that the guys who stay at San Peter can attest to the restaurant scene on the Circulars 1 thru 5 between Carrera 73 and Carrera 69 fanning north due northeast from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, which I would actually be interested to hear myself because I have not made it there yet.
Anyway this is my reason for why if I was going to "buy" in Medellin for investment and mongering purposes I think I would have to look around in Laureles area and see what the overall ROI looked like.
Damn this turned into a long post, I hope there is some useful information here.

This is not bad at all, I will be posting from Medellin as early as this Saturday. There is a viva flight from Miami to Medellin on the 19th, it is still not canceled and I called the airline today, they told me it is still on. If this one falls through I got ticket for the 21st flight to Cartagena out of FLL. Either way, the wait is almost over, I look forward to the day I can resume posting banging 18-year-olds, where my only headache is to decide which pair of 19-year-old to bang in the afternoon.

In the USA, if I gave money for these things, I would expect said money to go right up the women's nose, but every time, the women showed me what they have bought without my asking. The one tonight just showed me the elliptical she got and she was beaming.
If a woman is getting too pushy, I say that I feel like I am paying like a man pays a hooker, and they get so upset and say, "Oh, no baby, keep your money, I do not want you to feel like that."

I really do not care about monogamy as much as the passion monogamy instills in a woman from the sexual deprivation. I had a stunning sugar baby once and every time she had a BF, she was not as good in bed as when she was single.
When I do get to Colombia though, I expect these women to fuck me as if I were the last man on earth and to do whatever I want sexually, and if they do not, then I will focus on the ones who do. Keeping six women was never realistic but when you have a shot at a beauty queen, a hot young virgin, and several college cheerleader types, well, I felt like I had to go for it.
Normally, I would never pay in advance, but these are not normal times.

I have a tripped planned in November. (Obviously if Colombia opens up their borders) I wanted to know what clubs are open at the moment? La Isla, Energy, New Life, Faze Dos, Luna Lunera, Loutron, Conejitas, club amigas, San Diego? Also how is the scene in Parque Lleras? Just curious on what to expect if I am able to get I to Colombia! Thanks.

I read every sentence and agree. You know we two can hijack this thread which should be about Medellin pussy and explore these thoughts and opine on every last detail, hehehehe Our philological ideas maybe a motivator for others to learn and grow.
We must share the same line of thinking and reasoning because perhaps our upbringing was similar and our experiences in life along with seeing clearly why and how things just are they way they are.
I was born and raised in LA California by 2 great parents but they had their flaws, many flaws, yet they taught me two things in life, the first to love travel by seeing how other cultures and people live and secondly always have an open mind, never judge as that is not our job rather just accept things as I see them and for what they are.
Yes it seems like another life but I too was in the rats race in my professional career back in California and now being in Medellin for the past 4 years I just now have found the ability to relax my mind and slow down my body from always feeling that I must be doing something, keeping busy and achieving some objective. What a pleasure I get just waking up in the morning and fresh from a nights sleep seeing what the new day has in store.
Truth be told I was married for 14 years to a Russian model and if I did not get anything else out of that relationship I got to really understand the Russian soul.
We are all searching for something, we get into relationships for one of mainly 3 reasons, either for a Reason, a Season or for Life. I have learned some hard (and very expensive) lessons with the Reason equation being we / I am forced to learn something from the relationship and my god I did.
And what shit the religions of the world have brought to mankind, a quick look at the history and we see that the modern day ideals are the result of war and money and greed and trying to keep everyone in conformance to something. You mentioned a few points about the Catholic church and STD and monogamy, all very poignant and true.
And yes people may take offense to the thought that 80% of Colombian women have at least dabbled in sex for money at some point in their life but truth be told the percentage is probably higher. Again I don't judge but my gawd take the rose colored glasses off and see reality, unplug from the Matrix machine and you just may see reality as it is.
Case in point just yesterday walking out of my apartment I ran into the married guy who lives upstairs, it was his first opportunity to discreetly explain to me that his wife and she has friends who can provide sex is available for me or / and for my gringo friends. He gave me his wife's number with a nod and wink that it's OK.
I need to run an errand right now. We will continue our discussion further.
Much love and respect to all!
The Tall Man.

Posts: 586I really enjoyed most everything about this post except this. You are paying money as a retainer? For me, that kind of ruins it. But to each his own. And of course, they are probably not really waiting either.
